Thanks for the tips, Ma'am. I really lack in the grammar department. I scored 6.5 in my last attempt. I think the main reason is that I have not written a variety of sentences. I will try to practice all types you mentioned in the video: coordinating conjunction, subordinating conjunctions, conditional clauses, relative clauses, semicolon, and adverbial particle clause. I have never used the last two types of complex sentences. Another thing I need to improve is that I always miss adding an article in a sentence while writing an essay quickly. :-)

I find it you're a very skillful IELTS coach. I need confirmation from you about something I've been struggling with. The point is: in order to get a 7+score this is what I assume the examiners will be looking for: a variety of complex and compound sentences (that is the main feature assessors take into consideration, isn't it?) , a variety of tenses, a variety of modal verbs, a variety of passive and so on, as long as they're used accurately . So, I need to think in terms of variety when I refer to "grammatical.range", right? I really don't think I can get high band score if I use only two or three verb tenses although I use a variety of complex sentences

Hi Asiya, I know probably here is not the best place for asking this question but maybe it can help other guys, too. so what is the below essay's score do you think? many people work long hours, leaving very little time for leisure activities. does this situation have more advantages or more disadvantages? -------------------- Workforces are dividing long hours for work and their occupations and they are giving a small amount of time for leisure. In this essay, I'm going to debate why it is not good for workers’ personal and professional life and have lots of downsides. In my perspective, workforces should have adequate time for leisure activities including time for rest and travel because it is obligatory for everyone to have a work-life balance in his/her life for increasing life satisfaction as well as for increasing performance in work. moreover, nowadays some companies and startups are increasing leisure time in office by providing facilities like game consoles and indoor sports equipment which is also great for increasing the friendly communication in the team. according to reports and statistics, general yield and performance of companies that give employees longer holidays and facilities for leisure are significantly higher than other companies. Despite my personal opinion, someones believe that the downsides of increasing leisure time are more than its benefits. based on their thoughts, high amount of holidays could cause idleness in workers and also could make new issues with their focuses on the work. which I disagree with them and I think these are not really strong and factual reasons. In conclusion, companies and their human resources departments should put more effort and plannings on the holiday and leisure facilities for their stuff.
