Nowadays Universities around the world s offer a wide range of courses and it may be a challenge itself, for a student approaching the system for the first time, to orientate properly. Science fields are not always preferred, although, from the number of people attending that type of courses depend on the development of dramatic issues which affects our contemporary times.
The education system plays a crucial role in affecting society. While it is generally assumed how important is to involve progress in science, it could be said that a misconception lies between the young people commencing university for the first time. How are students supposed to try a scientific research career if they are told it will be incredibly difficult to find employment in that field? Therefore, universities have been expanding the teaching market over the years, introducing and promoting several courses around law and engineering. It would seem that science ( meaning for it each research disciplines such as Anthropology or Sociology ) has been left behind. Moreover, science scholarships lack investments by universities partners and governments, making it even more complex for young people to attend such courses. This reflects professional scientists work, which famously suffers from low dedicated funds.
Consequently, the biggest impact relies on the employment rate. The labour market is exacerbated by professionals who simply can not use their skills because of the lack of employment. Thus, law or engineering graduates have huge difficulty in finding a work position and are often forced to move to other countries, looking for better opportunities. While graduated in science can hardly approach the work position they studied for. The result is the increasing general disoccupation and the slowness progress in science research
In conclusion, if universities and National institutions’ expenditure would be invested more in science degree programs, it would greatly encourage students to start their science careers, in order to contribute to the development of knowledge worldwide.

Build a strong bound with the tutor's style, follow a single advice and strategy at a time. It'll help to eliminate the fear and perplexities you're experiencing. When you've developed high confidence in a strategy then you can look out for other reviews just to see what else you can add.

Thanks a lot Asiya mam for this subject. I know my ideas are totally different than yours but as you mentioned the ideas can vary but has to be relevant to the topic. So I tried it, pls check and give your feedback, I would be highly grateful.
Science plays a crucial role in today’s modern life by all possible ways. Involvement of science can be seen in normal daily activities too like from taking healthy diets to exercise daily for being fit to getting medication for a mild headache or for any severe disease. Many students around the world still does not choose Science as the subject while studying in University. Despite of such great significance and contribution of the Science, why students are reluctant in choosing Science as their field. In this essay, we will discuss the reasons for this and the effects of same in our society in the subsequent paragraphs.
One of the main reason for students opting for Arts, Business over Science in university is due to the difficulty level. We, human beings especially young ones, want to opt for easy paths mostly than a difficult one because we want everything in our careers best, fast and something which is as easy as cakewalk. For example, one person will choose to become a Business manager rather than a Scientist today as he know that the degree/ course he require to become a manager for Business is not that difficult as compared to what one require to become a scientist or medical expert. In the same way, the whole process of becoming a scientist is time-consuming plus requires a lot of efforts too. For example, my nephew when given a chance to opt for Science as main stream above Business and Arts, clearly preferred to choose Business as his subject for further study in the university basis duration of this course and difficulty level. This is a common practice nowadays among youngsters. As a result, Indian Society has oversupply of Lawyers or Managers and the deficit of Science professionals.
Another main reason is students opting for Science as main field in the University either has to be from sound financial background or very brilliant in studies in order to afford even to get a seat in medical colleges or Science related degrees. Everyone cannot afford expensive courses for studying science related courses or medical field. Hence they compromise by taking other field subjects like Business, law as subjects for further study in university. For instance, our neighbor’s son is very brilliant and got good grades in Senior Secondary in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, the family could not afford to pay the hefty fees for a seat charged by medical college, thatswhy he dropped his idea of choosing science as main stream for university education. Most young aspirants in our society dreams to become a doctor or medical practitioners but not capable to meet with the financial aspects involved in these courses, these young fresh graduates do not even wish to step into the science faculty which is relatively expensive than other streams.
To conclude, it seems some young students resist on selecting science as main subject for higher university education due to the time duration, cost involved and difficulty level of science courses and apparently choose Business, Law or Arts over science. Thus, too many opt for a degree in Business or Arts, creating an imbalanced society with influx of Business Management Graduates struggling to find a suitable job

    My answer:
It has recently been found out that not enough students are leaning toward science subjects compared to other majors. There are several reasons for this issue that will be put forward in following paragraphs.
First, the ongoing downward trend in employment markets for science majors is one major reason that less and less students would like to major in science. A recent research paper on this topic has shown that students precisely and meticulously look at the employment rate after graduation for different majors and make their decision not only based on their interests, but also on chance of finding job after finishing their studies.
Further, due to recent spikes in tuition fees for majors specialized in using laboratory equipment and facilities such as science and medicine, less students are willing to spend such a money for their education. Digging more into this issue, it was found that primary reason for tuition fees spikes is related to supply chain shortages, i.e., lack of commodities. Considering the fact that students are supposed to conduct experiments in labs in second and third years, these tuition spikes in science majors are not affordable for most of students.
Last but not least, as less students major in science there might be a problem in next years for societies which have lack of experts in related fields. Indeed, a well-cited research paper has shown that as least number of applicants have been seen in these majors for last 5 years, less professionals are going to enter society in current decade. Furthermore, this will lead to more number of unsolved problem for societies with less number of science experts.
As an outcome, less number of students have been majoring in science owing to sudden increases in tuition fees and high unemployment rates for related graduates. Also, a recently published research paper has revealed that less students major in science, more uninvestigated issues in will remain in these fields.

Reasons for the problem would be:
    - Stuidents are overwhelmed by the idea of pursuing the invention of new things and that may be very hard to tackle and the pursuit of knowledge may be too vast
    - People have the misconceptions that science programmes mean they will be stuck in a lab for most of their lives.
    Impacts :
    - There will not be any new creations that can better our society
    - as well as the fact that when new problems arise that require research and experiments, we don't have anyone available?

Hi, I tried to write before looking at your answer, I am looking forward to your response.thanks
Education plays a vital role in everyone’s life. There are several subjects to study. However, it completely depends upon an individual, which ones he chooses to pursue his career. Apparently, it has been seen that a large number of students avoiding science subjects, and there are multiple reasons behind this. As a result, our society is being affected badly.
The first and foremost reason is, “Expense”. While looking at fee structures of courses, one can easily notice the difference between science subjects and others, which abandon a plethora of students to select them. For instance, one of my friends, who had a keen interest in science subjects, could not take because of the expensive fees structure. Secondly, the lack of practical work. Although science subjects are interesting, but without practical experience, it is really a cumbersome task. Being a science student, it was very hard for me to study without the real-life experience of topics. These two are the predominant causes of the lacking number of students in the science field.
As a result, our society, where almost everything is directly or indirectly related to science, is getting negatively impacted. For example, from light to transportation vehicles, scientists have played a mandatory role to make them more efficient and affordable for us day by day, but now in research centers, there is a tremendous loss of scientists to perform duties, need to get results, expected on time. There are several projects pending just because of a lack of mankind.
In a Nutshell, among various reasons, these two, which mentioned above, are major. If universities would reduce fees and make efforts to provide more practical apparatus to students. This issue would be solved to a large extent.

    Hi Asiya ,
Students may want to be an entrepreneur by owing the business rather than being an employee of an MNC , sometimes they often get impressed by the success stories of big business tycoons, Another major reason could be that science often considered as the toughest among all subjects why because it requires deep or inside theoretical as well as practical knowledge hence students opt the easiest subject.

As the generation is progressing, the perspective of people for their career have changed, and people are opting mojorly for the subjects which they enjoy. Hence, they end up choosing arts or commerce as their study subjects at University.
At large the impact on society would be that there won't be enough professionals involved in scientific fields which will lower the scientific research and development activities.

Hi Asiya.. Thank you so much for ur guidance. Can you please evaluate this essay?
The decision a student makes to select their pathway of higher study often becomes a major factor that shapes his or her future. The ultimate goal of studying is usually associated with several different achievements in the future. A common opinion is that less number of students select Science as their major over other subjects such as Business Management, Arts, and Low. The fundamental reason for this can be described as obstacles the students face during fulling their achievements when they follow the science stream.
Some good illustrations of the problems associated with science modules are substantial workload and assignments to obtain significantly higher marks. Additionally, it’s difficult to find a job in the professional field of science even after completing the degree with a distinct pass. Moreover, it’s generally accepted that occupations with a background in commerce or low pay considerably higher salaries than that from science training. For an instant, researchers have suggested that seeking a job title with a higher salary scale is common among youngsters from several developing countries including Sri Lanka, India, and Bangladesh.
Unfortunately, this choice of students at universities lead to negative consequences. Firstly, there will be a lack of professionals to match the job market. Lack of adequate qualifications for a job will possibly affect the outcome of many sectors including Health and Education; hence affecting the economy of a country. Moreover, the situation creates unwanted competition among students following non-science subjects at universities and ultimately leads to the alteration of the job market in a while.
In conclusion, the trend of dropping science subjects at universities can consider a growing trend in some countries. Corrected actions and suitable alterations should implicate by the government to reduce the negative impact of this matter on the people and society in foreseeable future.

Hi Asiya, kindly evaluate my essay. i have my exam coming up in a couple of days.
    (word count 330 words)
Studying in an esteemed university is considered to be a prestige by the parents of the pupils, out of the subjects available especially science subjects are given more importance by the parents. However, not many students nowadays go for them. The rationale behind the same and its aftermath on the society will be discussed.
Most of the students do not opt for science field for higher education since the tuition fees are expensive, course is lengthy and also hectic. Science is not a subject of the weak hearted as it requires a lot of dedication, perseverance and passion. This is because it is a very long and difficult course, most of which require studying for almost half or entire life. Therefore, mainly the bright students or a determined students only mainly go for it. In addition, the course fees can dig a hole in ones pockets because of which most of the science students end up paying hefty depts their entire youth or working part-times tiring shifts. This is very consuming for most of them, as a result they are not able to enjoy their youth and remain stressed constantly. Hence, the majority of the freshers do not prefer taking it up.
Consequently, there will be less jobs and competition, eventually resulting in decreased economic growth. As science is an emerging field and an integral part of our lives and required in most of the occupations, fall in the number of graduates will lead to decreased job opportunities. Jobs will reduce drastically as most of the science graduates have an entrepreneurial potential. Eventually the per capita income of the country will decrease leading to an economic crisis if the same continues for long.
In conclusion, insufficient students choose science field in universities because of the time-consuming draining course which is also uneconomical. As a consequence, there will be issues related to employment prospects which will in turn lead to reduced per capita income and finally economic crisis in a long-term.

Hi Asiya, here is my Essay, please let me know what you think of it and how many bands I could get for it?
In the contemporary world, people are free to choose the subject that they want to study at university. In recent years’, as per the figure, fewer students are opting out for Science as a subject. In the below-mentioned paragraphs, I will provide sufficient affirmation that that will shed light on the rationale why it is happening and what will be the repercussions of it on the community.
To embark on if we see the previous five years data, there is a surge of new enrolments in the science stream, having said that, it increased the number of science pass-outs for the upcoming years, which will eventually hit the market, thereby increasing competition. In addition, as we all know by the demand and supply concept that if the supply will increase and there is no demand, lastly, it will increase unemployment. Frustrated people will guide the new generation not to enroll in science, as it is not trending at the time. Moreover, as science itself is somewhat difficult as compared to arts and commerce, very few people opt for it. For instance, I myself will not push my child to study science because I am one of those exasperated people who did not get a job in the field of my study. I will surely guide my child to go for either arts or commerce.
As per my understanding and knowledge, there would not be any significant impact on the community. As in the past, abundant people have been graduated from the stream that we do not need to worry for a decade in this regard. Only a handful number of quality science graduate people would suffice for the social development needs.
To recapitulate, we all must study our passion whether it is science, arts or commerce, despite these three choices there are a lot of practical options we could choose from. We must not force the future generation what to study, we must let them thrive where they want to.

    Hi Asiya!
I hope you really respond to my answer
Most of the students prefer Arts and mathematics over science at the university level due to a myriad of reasons and thus this arises significant controversies in favor and against it in the community. This essay will discuss those causes and will illustrate their substantial impacts on an integral part of society. In addition to this, it will include the practicable options which could help to decrease the effect of this.
Science has been not opted as the preferred subject to study at the graduate level due to the complexity involved in it. Moreover, this subject requires a number of essential factors, for instance, high skills set, the commitment of time from hectic schedules and the expensive cost of training. All the above reasons make science least recommended subject among the students, therefore, reduces the student enrollments into it.
Science is regarded as one of the necessary fields for the nation’s development due to its contribution through the field of research and innovations. If fewer members of the young generation take part in it, consequently the country will lack the talent in that field and it has to depend on other Nations for the research and discoveries that would be an expensive and tiresome process to accomplish. Furthermore, it will have dire consequences on the country’s economy as it requires a prominent amount of funding.
To meet the nation’s requirement the government needs to take necessary actions, such as providing scholarships, loans to the students, and also by providing the placement or employment opportunities, so that in the future, the nation should not face the scarcity of talent in the Science field.

Someone once said science is the study of nature. A major population students nowadays around the world still opt not to choose science subjects at university due few obvious reasons.
One of the main issue why people don’t opt it is that everyone is unique and have different personality traits. That is the very reason everyone has inclination towards different subjects. The other prominent reason being that students find it tough to understand as it is a demanding subject.
This impacts the research sector of our society if we had developed this sector earlier we could have defeated the pandemic in an organised and effective way with time considerations

Hi asiya ,for the first question , in my opinion ,science was always one the hardest subjects for students to understand, all mathematical questions and biologic , chemistry , physics , all of this lessons need a special effort and hardworking , and it may cause wrong thoughts on students , and bring down the confident on them .
At the other hand , it may be related to student's interest and what are their passion in their life .

    My answer:
The world needs scientists, nearly as much as it is in need of philosophers; yet, an imbalance may occur when society demands for practical scientists at the field but the individuals prefer abstraction and ideas. Therefore, it seems that a lack of interest in empirical subjects drives people to Humanities and Arts instead of sciences. Another cause may be due to the views that people hold of these subjects. Such imbalance may have a positive impact on society as it could prevent the pitfalls of excessive development.
In regard to lack of interest; one could argue that the empirical approach is rigid and lacks the flexibility that could entice the human creativity. This might repel people since they may prefer to work in less structured fields ‘as’ it is an innate trait of human beings to opt for freedom over rules and order. As for the effects of perspective; the majority seems to hold this view that science majors are more difficult and therefore it would be of less trouble to go for easier subjects. For example, many of the medical students I have met seem to think they would have been better off if they had gone to law school instead. This view may not be necessarily true since talents could be of factor in determining whether a subject is difficult.
To evaluate the impacts, one could consider the examples of World War I and World War II. ‘To elaborate’, Industrial Revolution that led to these tragic wars was the result of rapid development in science. Such abrupt progress in these fields paired with primordial and less developed philosophies and values had a heavy and grim consequence for humankind. So, to attract more brilliant minds to subjects other than sciences may be of great use in repairing the gap currently present between theories and practices.
Overall, it seems that the value this generation holds for freedom, imagination and creativity has urged them to pursue their own callings rather than the demands of society, but this might be just what our world requires in order to overcome its shortcomings and move towards a more peaceful and less destructive state.
