I spent a few minutes trying to figure out what movement Smart was trying to sell as Curry tapping him. I *think* it was Curry's hand movement a split second or so before he breaks for the 3 pointer, but even in slowmo it's hard to see that as anything less than a Smart flop.
Which is extra dumb because Smart already knows that he's cost his team a lot of opportunities with his shenanigans.

This may be unpopular opinion, but I hate the comparison of Jordan Poole to Steph curry and Klay Thompson. Nobody can ever ever emulate curry and Thompson. I think it’s just a flat out disrespectful comparison to The greatest shooters of all time. It makes me so irritated that people are praising poole like this. He makes bad decisions, he chucks the ball when there’s so many other better options, he is so inconsistent, he is so cocky thinking his “range is unlimited”. Oh, and you were just in the G league…like cmon…..
It’s so annoying. Jordan poole is so overrated. Everyone’s praising him but saying bad stuff about Steph. Steph changed the game of basketball, you cannot put Jordan poole in the same sentence and conversation as someone of that Caliber. Steph curry is the greatest shooter ever and that there will be. Just like MJ is the greatest player. Even Steve Kerr told poole to stop shooting shots like steph and that there’s only one steph curry and you can’t emulate that. Jordan poole has improved, but he had one good season. I’d like to see him do it over his entire career. You can hate me if you want but there’s nobody that will be like steph. Just like there’s no one like Michael Jordan or Kobe and all those all time greats. He is not the third splash brother. Like get it together. Jordan poole is mediocre and will never be superstar caliber.

@@rajataneesshafi2205 I wanna see how he does on a team that doesn’t have a ton of super stars and see how he’d do play then. That’ll determine whether he’s really deserving of the praise. Everyone comes to the warriors and plays like super stars because their team is built on teamwork more so than other teams in my opinion.
People talking about if they have to drop someone should it be wiggins or poole. Everyone saying drop wiggins. I’m like you guys are crazy if you think they should actually drop wiggins. Wiggins is an amazing 2 way player. He’s already an all star, he has developed great and fit into warriors, he was essential in the offence and defence in the finals and a huge reason why they won the championship. We have a ton of knock down shooters. We can afford to lose Poole and still win.
Pooles not trash but he’s not as good as he thinks he is. He’s definitely not as good as everyone else is making him out to be.

marcus smart... a.k.a. "nobody knows how this joke of a defender got DPOY"
as a DPOY you cant switch old ass al horford on the best offensive perimeter player ever.
then even better. then play like no help defense at all.
"yeah old man, go on that island with curry dancing, i will watch it from the corner, so i dont get torched"
what a joke this guy is.

Marcus smart is just painful to watch. Sure constant flopping may be effective sometimes but god damn is it cringe watching this shit. Defense in 2022

0:58 bro smart may or may not have flopped but it did look like he hit him right there
edit: im seeing so many comments on how he shouldnt have won DPOY but bro he had the 3rd best defensive rating as a guard while averaging the least minutes out of the top three so while there may be like 2 better defensive guards you cant just judge his defense off of his mistakes in the playoffs stop hating on him
