Yeah, the camera angle was the first thing I noticed. Ohhhh...the good old Bladebuilder days! Back then, I would first watch your Bladebuilder reviews before buying a set! 🙂
Man... it's an interesting concept, but I wish they did have the blade go all the way in and use the switch as an actual locking mechanism. I think it's a little bit of both, too. I still miss the old basic sabers, before Bladebuilders. That style with the Forge design would be amazing.

These are impossible to find in Canada right now. I lucked out on non electronic ones (still missing obi's) but has not seen them since. I really like the look and feel
Personally all of my bladebuilders that went all the way in ended up breaking so they would just fall back in or fall back out so this is very exciting.
Maybe the button is there cause it does something 4 the electronic ones but they didn't want 2 change the design of the blades themselves due 2 swapablity of the pieces

Man I just bought this yoda sabre and was extremely frustrated to figure out where and how to light up the sword. Thx for the info.i had a Luke Skywalker sabre but the blade broke. My son has a Vader one. My wife was going to trash the Luke sabre but I told he NO it may come in handy...then I bought the yoda and seeing it doesnt have light....I put the luke crystal into the Yoda blade and WALAAA....lights up!!!!. Now I dont have to stay frustrated with trying to figure out the issue.
I have the Yoda & Obi Wan forge lightsabre however I didn't realise they did not come with any battery pack. Is there any way to make these light up/sound? Even with adding a battery section from somewhere else? Thanks, noobie here.
Yeah you can add the core from an electronic saber and use that inside the sleeve you choose. Check out my reviews on the electronic saber forge toys to see what I mean
