@@ShadowsWrath4you really saying this shit because he refused to get a fat paycheck for literally free. If you dont like the ads all you have to do is skip them.
A champion with 4,700 HP, 329 Armor, and 201 MR, has Unstoppable, a Shield, and goes over walls. Has Airborne, and the cooldown is only 1 second too. It costs 15 Mana. The W CD is even refreshed when he transforms. He has true damage on his passive. Then, when he stacks Armor and MR, he gets Ability Haste too, Ability Haste to his Q, and his spell casting speeds up. Then, he has an AD ratio..... Now guess what champion I'm talking about
Her stacking that gives her free ad pen and enough range ot dumpster any marksman bar Caitlin by 20 minutes? It is what makes her able to do damage as a support but it is frankly a ridiculous amount of free stats.
Nah dude. His only mobility tool is extremely conditional. He is a squishy adc type with invisibility... And a worse Cait ult. Hes fine. Whats busted about him is literally just the amount of on hit items in the game and how much damage they deal. Not him specifically
I wouldn't say he's super overloaded in general. Just that his w is the most disgusting ability in the game. The rest of his kit is fine imo despite being completely recycled concepts. Definitely a gross champion but I think he'd come in there at 6-10.
I’d like to add, Aphelios isn’t overloaded like the other champs shown but rather over complicated. 5 weapons, each with 5 Q abilities, with 5 passive tied to each, that each have 5 unique synergies with each other, and an ultimate with 5 different effects as well. If Jhin likes the number 4, Aphelios likes the number 5
Do you even hear yourself?? That’s like 20 different things you have to keep in mind when you play against him. Like yes he only has two options at a time but you still gotta know what all of em do to stand a chance and they all do different things
@@Stocky39I agree he forgot to say it, but the main thing is: Aphelios can use 2 weapons at the time and they have limited ammunition, and also not all combinations are good to begin with.
@@Stocky39 yes I knew when typing it a comment like yours will pop up and that’s the point. Aphelios has so much going for him but if you take the time to play and see what he does, it is genuinely not too hard. Harder than most champs yes, but still doable
Surprised Kai'sa's on here for build options and not Katarina. She can basically build whatever items she wants since the item rework and exceeds with all of them.
I'm glad they're slowing down on the champion releases, now they can actually put thought on champion designs instead of making champions into a mishmash of already seen abilities but also each one has 3 passives and 5 effects.
@@florinalinmarginean1135Naafiri was supposed to be an easy level assassin for newer players(Granted she is overtuned right now). Milio literally does nearly everything the other enchanters due, healing, shielding, bonus ms, bonus dmg, a freaking cleanse and a freaking bonus atk range, he actually does a lot compared to other enchanters...
it is a shame not including Akshan, i think he has all except cc, he has double auto attack, and can cancel the second to gain movement speed, three hit passive that gives him a shield and extra damage, wave clear that one shot minions and if hits a champ gives movement speed, w is stealth and revive that also regenerates mana and gives extra gold (because why not?), e is a movement spell that deals a fuckton of damage, applies on hit and resets on kill (again why not?) and r is kinda of a execute (at least you can make him hit towers). Moreover i think he is the only champ in the game who doesn’t have a single losing matchup and wins almost every lane, but still scales in the late game
Honestly I would love it if we could get multiple parts to this series. Champs like Senna Pyke Akshan Irelia Fiora and obv KSante could definitely be here
Senna is fine tho? She has some damage, CC, movement speed and shrouding. Also a global shield on her ultimate but it's nothing game changing. I can only see her infinite scaling being problematic but idk, maybe I just never had problems against her.
Pyke is overloaded ?? He has damage, CC, escapes and some heal, but is squishier than any other champion and has one of the worst late game to compensate
@@ratspew932A champion being overloaded has NOTHING to do with that champion being strong or weak... You could design a champion with 4 different forms, 20 different passives, plenty of abilities etc., and they could all be dogshit, but the champion would still be clasified as overloaded... Senna has a lot of stuff in her kit, but personally I probably would either not have her in top 10 or as 8th or 9th, depending on some weightings of the different parts of the kits
how about the top five champs that are not overloaded after that ? seems fun to talk about champs that actually are somewhat fair/ balanced ( or not as much as the others at least )
Personally I enjoy kai'sas number of viable builds, it might feel a bit problematic when she's one of the only champs with that option but I'd like having more champions who aren't forced into a specific build. I know it's harder to balance but I kinda miss how fun it was in the old days finding wierd builds for your favourite champs, it's much harder now and it feels like everytime one turns up, like lethality sion or even just jungle camille, riot rather makes it unplayable instead of just making it more fair.
I'd have no problem with Kaisa having multiple viable builds if not for the fact that literally all of them happen to be really, really good. It goes from "build to fit the niche in your game" to "this bitch can literally build anything with the idea of 'damage' and still outcompete almost any other marksman."
@@raiden3013 idk i never seen someone using tank shaco for example but katarina? heartsteel build, guinsoo build, rocketbelt build, divine build, now duskblade build she's the real jack of all trades
@azurclerx951 It's not an execute, it has a bar that shows you when it does enough damage to kill, but it still needs to get the enemy to 0hp and can be blocked by heals or shields..
Im happy to see that you also consider Kaisa part of the most Overloaded champs, i hate facing a feed kaisa more that aphelios because she feels unreacheable while having too efective tools for destroying health bars, aphelios can make damage but he its too conditional and scale slower but stronger only if he as an inmovile adc manage to get feed on early, kaisa mix the sensation of fighting a mage and an assasin on an adc
Personally I’d say Senna, for just what she can do by simply existing An “unblockable” auto attack (it goes through Windwall) Indefinite Scaling and a Q that applies to 4 different things in one skill Heals Deals Damage to Champions, Towers, And Wards Grab Souls Burst of Movespeed from Auto’ing A global Ultimate that deals damage And shields (albeit the damage does require proper Accuracy) team untargeting that grants her move speed
You forgot she also steals movement speed and her Q now slows, i actually made a joke about how she needed CC on her Q to make it a One Solution Fix All, and then the maniacs actually did it
As i saw in someone's comment: "People forget that Yuumi has more health than Senna". 1 hard cc - and Senna is done harder than any other adc, this is the reaon why i stopped playing her
If you think this Kaisa is overloaded, on WR they literally let her upgrade her abilities by just finishing an item, it doesn't require her to build specific stats anymore
Gwen is super fun and has a lot of skill expression but one problem I have with her is that a lot of the time enemies can just choose to not fight you…. Of course if they choose to fight they lose but just running away is very easy
Skill expression shouldn't matter, whats important is if the character is fair or not :D I feel like tons of people in the gaming scene think that "skill characters" are allowed to be unfair, just because they are harder to play. I don't necessarily mean you, but I think its a very toxic mindset I've seen everywhere
@@tamas9554 tbh with all the top laners in the game that can just pop ghost and kill you under tower with no counter play, I feel she’s pretty fair… anytime I kill somebody with her it’s just like “ok, you chose to fight me lol”
@@akizuki2971 She is unfair as hell because she can't lose. Gwen is just like Yone, "beating" her early game doesn't matter much overall, she just gets to two items and becomes a killing machine. Her lategame is extremely overpowered, she can just oneshot you no matter what you build against her, while also being very tanky because of her W. (she also has extreme mobility) At least with some of the older champs, if you beat them early, they won't come back mid and late game on the level she does. The only thing that redeems her is that she is *fine* early game.
@@tamas9554 I’m not totally convinced… W is like 20 second cool down, she has very limited chase or peel when her ult isn’t up, when she’s very vulnerable to cc, and there are fighters with enough cc and bulk to fight her in the mist I’m not amazing at the game tho, she’s the first champ I’ve mained
@@akizuki2971 Cooldown doesn't matter if she kills you in one engage :D I can't imagine anything that isn't fed surviving her after 3 items, maybe some very broken champs. Thankfully Riot keeps her on a fair level, although that doesn't mean much since Jax's been overpowered in the past year as I heard
I'm surprised Qiyana wasn't mentioned here. Her W is probably the skill with the most superfluous amount of effects in the game besides maybe Akshan W, the main point of the skill to access her elements while also granting her an additional yet small dash, but for some reason she also gets Attacks Speed, On-Hit Magic Damage and also Taliyah's passive for absolutely no reason, her gameplay and combos don't require this at all.
Qiyana isn't overloaded she was overtuned, her kit is quite simple. Nerf her numbers and she's somewhat balenced ( assuming assassin items aren't a mess either )
there is a difference between overloaded and overtuned. to know, ask a simple question: can this champion be balanced by simply number adjustments? if yes, overtuned. if not, overloaded also, her W is far from being the most superfluous thing in the game. i have a feeling you just lost a ranked game and is venting about her
@@lillyieI haven't played against Qiyana in ages, but sure tell yourself that if it helps you cope, from the look of your profile I can tell you are a Qiyana main so arguing with you is pointless.
@@ApocalypticFartno, that is not how that works, just look at yasuo and yone, their kits are someof the most horrendously overloaded in the game, and a lot of crit items had to be adjusted, soecifically because of these two abominations, yet they still have low winrates. You need to face it, even a hyper-overloaded champion can be balanced by number adjustments, if you make tjem big enough. The main way you can see how an ability is overloaded is to just read through it, and if you find anything where you could say "but does it really need to do that" it is probably an overloaded ability.
I believe Azir is worth a mention too. On his release, after the bug fix, he was basically a jack of all trades, master of all. He was like Orianna, who is widely considered a well rounded champion, but with Xerath's range, Kayle's DPS, has utility, a dash with none of the champions mentioned thus far do and he can still spawn a tower. He had the best laning phaze in the game, scaled harder than any other champion, can play from the backline, can siege, can dive... By today's standards, he don't have as much stuff crammed into his kit, but even today, I can't name a champion who can compare to the number of roles Azir could play back then.
in a lot of ways he was like yasuo. Nowadays theyre both underwhelming (imo) because they seem very limited compared to their peers but back then nobody had comparable tools.
And then they decided the best role for an Emporor, one whose theme is to create minions to fight for him, is to be a mid ranged mobile champ who dives into the middle of the enemy team to do a burst of damage. Oh, amd because they went that route they have to keep him within arms length of the dumpster. I'm still annoyed that they took a minionmancer zone controller and decided that flashy plays was the best choice to balance him... and then proceeded to be unable to do that because of the very route they took being difficult to balance.
Can't believe Senna isn't here. She has EVERYTHING : -Her passive gives her AD, crit chance, range and life-steal later. -Her point n' click Q pokes with incredible range and go throught minions, ans heals both Senna and her allies. -Her W makes her and her allies untargetable, grant move speed and impossible to identify from one ally from the other. -Her E is an AoE root. It's the worst part of her kit, but it's still a cool spell, I like it. -Her R is a massive global damaging AoE with an even more massive shielding zone.
My next suggestion is a Top 5 Most Unfair Champions, as in: a champion who the onus of dealing with them is entirely down to the player of said champion making mistakes and an enemy champion has rather little agency in addressing that champion themselves.
You should make a video on the history of the Nexus Lazer Towers and their revert. I surprisingly have good memories with them and forgot why they got reverted.
I don't think it was as much as it was that she was overloaded as much as it was that her stats were absolutely crazy like on release and her synergy with items her W was barely an ability it was a slow at best and her dash was strong due to the numbers basically low CD and such but the other effect was really bad letting only 3 auto attacks go through minions but her R was crazy that much I'll admit but that was because of the stats it offered that also gave you stacks off of runaans hurricane hitting other things and black cleaver stacking double as fast due to bugs
In the end in League all is decided by numbers, doesent matter how overloaded your kit is, as long as you can oneshot in current meta it's okay. Things such as ap malphite being a thing proves it.
Honestly I think youre hating on yone a little hard. Relatively simple passive, simple Q stacking mechanic, W does give shield while doing max % mixed damage and the E is crazy, but it all fits with his design really well. His ult is also super simple and meshes well with his kit, though it does do mixed damage. Despite having a lot of mixed damage, he has very little true damage in his kit. The only thing that seems very "new champion" on yone is his E, but it fits with his identity of mobile squishy hypercarry. Definitely not the most fairly designed kit, but I would put yone far from the top 5 worst.
As an Udyr main I gotta admit the vgu absolutely put him in to arguably one of the most overloaded champs in the game. He has two base passives, each stance has the awakening, ad hp ap and just lvl scaling, cc immunity, and aoe slow that can move, max hp dmg on q with a massive Atk spd steroid shit is a little bonkers. But I guess overtuned might fit the bill better than overloaded since his playstyle of running at you and auto attacking you to death is still the same lol
thats true but he also has no ultimate ability unless you wanna count awakening since it is kind of similar to something like karma R (which i honestly would consider more of a basic ability in terms of power and availability) he is slower than he was before, although the aoe slow does make up for that once he gets his hands on you, and he doesnt have persistent 3 auto effects anymore which makes him scale a lot worse with attack speed than he used to (im not complaining i like the 2 hit shuffle the rythm is a lot easier to fully utilize, i would argue it makes him stronger in the sense that he only needs to hit you twice to fully utilize any of his auto passives, once for e). that said he is super strong regardless.
I dont think Gwen is that overloaded, honestly. She's just a tank-buster. Her passive is a lot more complicated than it has to be, just a small bit of %health damage that she heals off of. Her Q and ult apply the damage as well. But that's about it. Her W isnt really that crazy either. Its just untargetable at a certain range. A Jax counterstrike, but for a different scenario. In practice, Gwen is one of the more simple champs in league. She's no Garen, but doesnt even come close to the clusterfuck of Nilah, Akshan, Belveth, and Viego.
id add rengar too honestly. basically infinite dashes with no cost, camouflage, true sight, a stacking passive, auto attack reset, a slow and empowered abilities that seem to be up all the time which contain another auto attack reset, a grey health/heal/cleanse combo that deals magic damage and a root. not to mention he has the fastest oneshot combo in the game that you cant really dodge.
I love when vars make video about hating tank busters(NOT FAIR, TANKS ARE SOOOOOO WHOLESOME) and trashtalk about yone, meanwhile he forgets that his champ(renekton) counters him. And we wont evem talk about Olaf
he does not? every time he brings up yone I've heard him immediately follow it up with "i don't have an issue playing against yone, probably because my champ selection counters him hard"
I think the only champion in the history of League with more build diversity than Kai'sa is Udyr, who is... Udyr so he basically only had build diversity because his kit scales enough with almost anything to make almost everything vaguely usable. Unless you're building full support he'll always do something, and even then there were still gimmicks to be had with a few mythics (like Moonstone Renewer with Ascended W)
I know it’s fun to shit on new champs but honestly I feel Garen should be on this list. No seriously, look through his kit on the wiki. He came out ages ago and has had stuff added to his kit to the point if he came out today you’d wonder why he has a Seeker’s/Verdant built into his W with an added mini-Conditioning on the PASSIVE effect of the ability. That doesn’t even account for the fact he also gets a shield, tenacity and damage reduction on the active part. And this is only ONE of his abilities, his Q and E are also extremely overloaded
Yeah...no. Garen needs a dash on his Q and uncapped armor/mr scaling on his W before we can consider him playable. Yeah, he has a bunch of ministuff in his kit, but they don't amount to much. A dash on his Q and scaling on W... _that would be a champion._ But right now he's like...half a champion.
Yone main here. You didn't mention the insane poke at lvl 3. I can E > Q3 > E when enemy champ is under turret without taking damage. If it isn't under turret, I can also throw in a W.
as a bel veth main, i agree, she has kill resets that do damage and buff her, but akashan fucking reviving teammates as a PASSIVE is beyond broken and its not even his only passive affect
Gwen isnt overloaded at all. She has her w and thats it. aside from that she has a dash and 2 damaging abilities and healing. Kayn also has healing, multiple dashes, goes through walls, 3 damaging abilities and 2 different forms to adapt to each game and he is considered a very simple champ.
Kayn cant change from blue and red form as he wants, he cant attack while in ult, his dash has a pretty long endlag, his w is easy to read and his e is easy to cancel.
Pretty good list. I remember the days of Akali turret diving... so broken lol. I stopped playing for like 7 years or so, just got back into it and enjoying myself thoroughly. I've been liking all the changes to jungle and the champion reworks etc. a lot. I have to ask though, why Yone? I'm a support main, but I play top a lot too. I picked up Yone and he's pretty hilarious to run in solo-que. Its not because he's super problematic or crazy or anything though, he's just really good at punishing. He's actually very easy to handle in top lane if you don't make a bunch of mistakes. I'd for sure say Yasuo is a much tougher match-up. The only annoying thing with Yone in lane is the dodge with his E and maybe suddenly jumping out of a brush or something, but that's all totally predictable. He can for sure do some positioning shenanigans, and he does a lot of damage, but it's all pretty telegraphed unless he's jumping out of fog over a wall or something. Idk, I don't see why he's like your nemesis. Lots of champs can jump over a wall and 100-0 you, Yone isn't particularly special in that regard. He is strong, for sure, I just don't see why he gets the special treatment lol.
Yone is just better and easier to execute Yasuo at his core. If you don't fight Yasuo in a minion wave you auto win. Yone gets a second auto reset compared to Yasuo (his W) and a repetitive damage source that incentivizes long trades and him staying on top of you. Not to mention his ult does not require set up like Yasuo as well.
I remember looking back and counting all of akali's mechanics right when she got reworked. in just her passive and q we had: -two sources of 40-70% movement speed (although i think the movement speed towards champions was added in later???) -enhanced auto attack -energy restoration -doubled attacked range (meaning you could go RFC and then your passive would double your range from whatever you had after RFC) -aoe slow -heal THE FIRST 4 ARE ALL IN THE PASSIVE ITSELF!!!!
15:03 The thing about Aphelios is that if he could access all 5 weapons all the time he'd be broken. He has range, aoe, melee dps, cc and healing, but can only use each for at most 50 auto attacks or 5 uses of the active abilities before it's unavailable and he's forced to play differently. This is unlike Varus who gets to use all of his ridiculous range, damage and dps all the time.
Uuuuh this is a video im looking forward to,considering how many people still don’t get the meanings of and differences between Overloaded and Overtuned i hope some people learn from this lol
But can everyone agree at this point that yone is no longer is overtuned? Like champ(and yasuo) feels so bad these days that i feel like you can do better playing anything else
yone is a lot like viego where theyre both very powerful if they get to attack and be agressive but if youre the agressor and they dont get to start a fight on their own terms theyre a lot weaker. Problem is people tend to be afraid of the two because of ptsd from getting dumpstered by a fed one.
This is what I was wondering how to fix Yone: Passive- Double crit chance with less crit damage is fine but there should be no magic damage Q-Is fine nothing really to change W-No max health hybrid Damage or the increased shield for hitting multiple targets. I would just make it magic damage with the shield scaling off of attack speed? (Again this is only conceptual) E-No more True Damage, no more cleansing of debugs or CC, nothing like that. Instead, when casting, a portion of his health becomes grey and he must attack to gain that health back (ripping out your soul must hurt). A percentage of damage is converted to health and can’t go beyond the grey line. Whatever health he does not gain, he looses. The stat boosts he can keep while using this ability though. Ult-It’s fine. Works well with his kit.
I'm gonna be real honest here Yone's only overloaded spell is his E, nothing else on his Kit Screams Broken everything people complain about Yone is directly correlated with Soul Unbound no need to change the rest of his kit Jesus. I would just make it so that he would take extra damage while in Spirit Form just so y'all can have counterplay when he's both in his strongest and weakest point. As he stands right now? He's kinda not in a pretty spot as he was back when items weren't overhauled yet.
@@kyokokirigiri9010 I mean it’s only conceptual nothing really against Yone mains. Also he has never been in a good spot since like Akali and Yasuo, the player base tends to either be really good with him or bad.
fun fact i always wondered why you hate ranged top laners so much. after trying to play ranked for a few months and committing to garen top i sometimes report them just for being ranged tops. highlights were definitely rylais cassio and ashe top.
Great video! I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I'd love to see a why no one plays Kassidin cause he doesn't seem too hard to figure out and looks pretty fun but I never see him in game
Nilah is busted but underutilized in proleague, but huge huge overload. Buffs all heals and shields, shares half of lost xp with allies, immune to autos on w, 2 (very short range) dashes, aoe auto on hitting q (3 sec cooldown) and r heals herself and allies and interrupts. Did i mention she gains lifesteal and armor on crit%???
Akshan is insane. His w active is already an insanely strong ability allowing him engage or escape reset on kills. W active camoflauge is strong as hell, then you add a passive revive and its like why. Also samira has resets on her ult no cooldown and has a 360 windwall... its so overloaded
Personally I'd add vayne to a list like this, not because she has too many options, but because she has so many things that just nullify counterplay or counter building options. If you try and run away, her bonus movement speed towards enemies and dash are going to make it impossible for at least 70% of the cast to do so without her running you down. If you try and fight her, she can push you away, dash and turn invisible, making it impossible to fight her without heavy cc or strong mobility in your kit, or gangbanging her with an ally who has strong cc. Not to mention how she just ignores the concept of tankiness. If you're squishy she's going to destroy you in a few hits, no worries tho. That's something most adc's are supposed to do. However, if you invest in armor, it's not going to help, because of her true damage, but if you build health, it also doesn't matter because it's percent health true damage.
You vastly overestimate the damage vayne passive does... Like it does the same damage as BORK passive if you have 200 armor and no amor PEN at all. If you have 4000 health it does like 120 damage per hit that's generally 20% of the damage of your normal AA after armor reductions
My man I was playing with gnar and I had 600 stacks on iron heart and titanic hidra plus nature force(because I was facing quite a lot of AP champion) but she still melted me it's insane what her passive does
@@nicholasfigueiredo3171 what normal auto attack does 600 damage post reduction to a 200 armor champion lmao. Also, vayne gets that bonus damage permanently for free and it is literally impossible to stop-if she gets Rageblade it gets even stronger. Max health true damage as a whole is a terrible mechanic to put on anything that can be activated multiple times simply because it's impossible to stop or interact with. On Vayne it's especially bad because she has a ton of mobility, invisibility and hard CC.
@@BlackfeatherMain Vayne will only deal 600 damage with her W if you have 6000 health and it is every 3 hits not 1, you would need 18000 health to vayne to deal 600 damage per hit, also with 200 armor BORK does about the same damage as vayne W if you are ranged and more damage than vayne W if you are melee regardless of health since both are %
@@nicholasfigueiredo3171 you claimed that 120 damage per hit is "like 20% of the damage of normal autos after damage reduction" which is not true. 600 damage is barely the normal amount pre-reduction for a three and a half item AD carry. Furthermore, that damage is ON TOP of her normal DPS. She can build onhit and amp that up even more. Bork only does that on the very first auto, and then only if the target is at maximum health, because Bork is current health, not max health, and beyond 200 armor, Vayne does more.
Udyr. He has tank shredding, one shot capability, shielding, lifesteal, stun, slow, infinite chase and escape, ap, ad, and tank, cc immunity, all while being incredibly plain and easy, one of the worst reworks/character designs imo. So many gimmicks yet no depth
This is your reminder that Yone ult used to apply lifesteal for some reason when he was released, so if he hit like 3 targets the fucker would heal A LOT.
Im wondering if you’d do a commentary of peoples choices. There’s the “what your favorite champion say about you” thing, butt what about favorite 5 or 10? Gives a broader take on things. Plus hearing your thoughts on things is why i take time with your channel, you have a good way discerning your thoughts on things, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on your community as well. Anyways, here would be my list. Warwick, jhin, yasuo, yorick, asol, fiddlesticks, azir, lucian, shaco and thresh.
Look I know the league community has forgetten about Nilah but as a Nilah main myself, her kit is overloaded af. She has built into her kit: bonus healing and shielding for both herself and the caster of said healing and shielding, bonus exp when splitting between herself and an ally, bonus armor penitration, bonus omnivamp vs champions, inherent overheal, permanent uptime on an attack speed amp, cleaving autos, and 350 range while still being classified as a melee, a mini collector passive vs minions, can q towers, inhibs, and the nexus, her w gives her ghosting, movespeed, flat 25% reduced magic damage and dodges autos, and the ability to grant this to ALL ALLYS, and to top it off her ult slows for 3 seconds, gives AOE healing to ALL allies, including minions/summons, and is also AOE cc. IMO she is more overloaded than all the champs you listed other than possibly bel'veth.
good video but I think the part with Akali and Kai'Sa is irrelevant to the video. I think you were spot on with Yone, Belveth and Gwen in terms of overloaded champs.
You forgot about K'Sante, a champion with 4700 HP, 329 Armour, and 201 MR. He is unstoppable, has a shield, can dash through walls, even has 1 second cooldown and only cost 15 mana. He can even refresh W when transforming, and he deals true damage. And then, his cooldown lowers when he gets more armour and magic resistance, lowering Q’s cooldown, and lowering casting time, and it does big damage. His W goes aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Huh? This less overloaded and more so overtuned, actually I believe K'sante doesn't do enough. His dash through walls is conditional unlike litterary everyother dash user, except bel'veth, 1 second abilities with low mana isn't really his issue, Yasou's is even worse due to how it can crit with his passive. Heck it removes after transforming the actual deal: he basically roots you. His shield is mild at best and his true damage is the least threatening part of kit. My problem is his transformation is boring and fails to actually have him change into a different class, its litterary still a Tank thats more a bruiser now than a skirmisher. The W reset, well since it takes time to increase its range, he stands still in the hole thing, you are given counter play it atleast dealing with the attack. I do agree he should take damage while doing it.
I feel like K'Sante should either be here or in sixth place, I only had the curiosity to read his abilities after hearing Showmaker reciting every word on his kit for a good amount of minutes, in which I heard most keywords that exist in this game.
I will say as the biased Gwen player, part of why she has as much things in her kit as she does is because she's an AP champion. Her healing is similar to Sylas, part of why it's so prominent is because building lifesteal on AP champs has always been much worse than on AD and she is supposed to be a bruiser / fighter champ for top lane. Healing is important to her theme. AP auto attackers don't have a lot of itemization options either, and they did want to model her after the four horsewomen who tend to use AAs a lot. She hasn't been touched much since her mini rework, and is arguably more tolerable than the other 4 horsewomen of top lane. Do I wish there was a version of her with less mechanics? Yeah absolutely, I wish league considered the experience of the enemy more often when building champs. Speaking of which, how did Akshan not make the list?
healing seems common in AP bruisers. mordekaiser and sylas have their W and gwen has her passive. probably no coincidence that mordekaiser and gwen almost always build riftmaker, the only AP item with lifesteal
@@Underworlder5 that's the exact reason they build rift, it compliments their lifesteal, and gives them more truedmg to deal with tanks and for extended trades which they excel at

I do agree with the picks and i am very happy that my boy aphelios doesnt get thrown under the bus. he seems scary when you dont think about it too much but he is really simple in concept. 5 weapons 5 themes. keep that in mind and you are good to go. in regards to the list and potential characters on there: my suggestions would be udyr, akshan, camille and ksante. udyr after the rework had to be reeled back in HARD. a tank that can just 1v5 the entire team while being unkillable and dealing insane dmg with basically no counterplay. forget it man... akshan with his stupid revive, the stealth, the built in lucian passive. the entire champ is basically overloaded on a stick. camille can deal 1k true damage within like 5 second intervalls. add to that the insane mobility and lockdown potential and yeah overloaded fits. ksante is a good example of too much a character can do. facetank the entire team? no problem. 1v1 basically anyone? no problem. have 3000 dashes, a free isolation tool, cc immunity and insane burst damage potential? yeah no.
to be fair not speaking about Pyke who was the 1st not overloaded champ but OVER OVER OVER loaded champ to make it to league, is kinda sad but great video nontheless
Idk, Gwen hasn't been good in like, a year. Playing that champ now feels so bad and they gutted almost everything that made her fun. And her having no cc besides a pretty whatever slow meant that unless you had no cc you could just kinda walk away. I think she has very clear strengths and weaknesses and wouldn't put her here
yone's crits will do less dmg than other champs, but yone get to crit you 100% of the time way earlier than all champs, and he builds IE second, so the "less dmg" is not applicable anymore
Akshan; he’s basically Indian Spider-Man: detects enemies with his spider sense, swings around the map at impossible speeds, and is a real jokester. Sounds pretty strong, right? Now give him a gun and the ability to turn invisible
I get I feel it's a minor nitpick but the Yone ult is a blink and not specifically a dash. It got burned into my head so hard that it's a dash and not a blink that I keep trying to cage the little shit only for him to just ult out of my cage for me because it's a blink so he doesn't get stunned.

Indefinite Scaling and a Q that applies to 4 different things in one skill

A global Ultimate that deals damage And shields (albeit the damage does require proper Accuracy)

Nerf her numbers and she's somewhat balenced ( assuming assassin items aren't a mess either )
there is a difference between overloaded and overtuned. to know, ask a simple question: can this champion be balanced by simply number adjustments? if yes, overtuned. if not, overloaded

She has EVERYTHING :
-Her passive gives her AD, crit chance, range and life-steal later.

There's a single step between anime girl and Edgelord.

My next suggestion is a Top 5 Most Unfair Champions, as in: a champion who the onus of dealing with them is entirely down to the player of said champion making mistakes and an enemy champion has rather little agency in addressing that champion themselves.

Hearing vars call yone “my boy “ is funny
I definitely think Zeri should be on here. She is a shadow of what she was on release.
I use those overloaded champs skill explanation for lullabay-ing my son, he is Nasus main
Back in the days Lulu used to be an overloaded champion, time flies...
In the end in League all is decided by numbers, doesent matter how overloaded your kit is, as long as you can oneshot in current meta it's okay. Things such as ap malphite being a thing proves it.
Ah yes the famous meme pick AP malphite proves a lot about the current meta 😭
Oh wow, nice that you used Mega Man Star Force 3 Spade Magnus Stage Theme for this video. Good job.
I'd like to give an honorable mention to my one trick champ at his prime: Kassadin. Oh boy let the Exil video about his 95% banrate tell you about it
As an Udyr main I gotta admit the vgu absolutely put him in to arguably one of the most overloaded champs in the game.
Fun Fact abour Belveth E, interrupting it cancels the attacks but not the damage mitigation . Also yone E gives him movespeed too
My main beef with Yone is essentially his reward is too great for too little risk.
And here I was vibing to Spade Magnes Theme that I forgot there was a video
id add rengar too honestly. basically infinite dashes with no cost, camouflage, true sight, a stacking passive, auto attack reset, a slow and empowered abilities that seem to be up all the time which contain another auto attack reset, a grey health/heal/cleanse combo that deals magic damage and a root. not to mention he has the fastest oneshot combo in the game that you cant really dodge.
That Akali clip where TF tried to reveal her with his TRUE SIGHT ULITMATE and it doesnt work is hillarious
I think kat might take the dub for this one as Udyr can’t go on hit (i think ?) and kaisa can t go full tank
Sadly he needs that BS to even be playable
@@smartalex22 no, that’d just make him overpowered. People use overloaded and overpowered synonymously when they mean different things.

I remember looking back and counting all of akali's mechanics right when she got reworked.
in just her passive and q we had:
-two sources of 40-70% movement speed (although i think the movement speed towards champions was added in later???)
-enhanced auto attack
-energy restoration
-doubled attacked range (meaning you could go RFC and then your passive would double your range from whatever you had after RFC)
-aoe slow
-heal
THE FIRST 4 ARE ALL IN THE PASSIVE ITSELF!!!!
5:08 bel' out push a yorick? Man, I took six towers and under 58 seconds. I never seen a bel' do that
15:03 The thing about Aphelios is that if he could access all 5 weapons all the time he'd be broken. He has range, aoe, melee dps, cc and healing, but can only use each for at most 50 auto attacks or 5 uses of the active abilities before it's unavailable and he's forced to play differently. This is unlike Varus who gets to use all of his ridiculous range, damage and dps all the time.
Id personally have ranked Akshan at #2 and probably included Sett somewhere in there. But solid list

But can everyone agree at this point that yone is no longer is overtuned? Like champ(and yasuo) feels so bad these days that i feel like you can do better playing anything else
@@afiqmustafayevIdk if i agree with that, but he sure at least was Overtuned and Overloaded asf
@@ATMEIDAREYAIDOUBLEDAREYAit’s not really an agree or not thing, they are objectively ass tier in all their roles now after the changes to crit items
@@ioiioooio193 Yes it is an agree or not thing, their items have nothing to do with them being overtuned or not,it’s only about their kit 🤦
@@ATMEIDAREYAIDOUBLEDAREYAnow they are overloaded only 👍
Apart from the last 3 which I see almost every 3 games, can’t rly remember the last time I saw Gwen or bel
I had no idea just how much Akali used to have.
I feel like yones e is really oppressive if he’s fed or towards the late game, but it’s not really all that powerful in the laning phase.
yone is a lot like viego where theyre both very powerful if they get to attack and be agressive but if youre the agressor and they dont get to start a fight on their own terms theyre a lot weaker. Problem is people tend to be afraid of the two because of ptsd from getting dumpstered by a fed one.
I like how it RAID became so notorious for its ads that it became acceptable to meme about it even in the sponsored materials
This is what I was wondering how to fix Yone:
Passive- Double crit chance with less crit damage is fine but there should be no magic damage
Q-Is fine nothing really to change
W-No max health hybrid Damage or the increased shield for hitting multiple targets. I would just make it magic damage with the shield scaling off of attack speed? (Again this is only conceptual)
E-No more True Damage, no more cleansing of debugs or CC, nothing like that.
Works well with his kit.
now learn how to get out of iron
He takes too long to scale and he's borderline unplayable in higher elos
1. K'Sante
2. K'Sante
3. K'Sante
4. K'Sante
5. K'Sante
Why is K'Sante in all five slots? Simple, he's five champs in one.
Liking just because of the use of Spade Madnes theme! 🔥
I'm honestly surprised that Aatrox (on rework release) wasn't mentioned once
I think akshan, Zeri and Samira before her nerfs deserve a spot, and nilah and honorable mention.
Udyr. He has tank shredding, one shot capability, shielding, lifesteal, stun, slow, infinite chase and escape, ap, ad, and tank, cc immunity, all while being incredibly plain and easy, one of the worst reworks/character designs imo. So many gimmicks yet no depth
Its always these goddamn autoattackers. League devs just cant hold themselves back when making a single modern autoattacker.
Was surprised how long it took me scrolling down to find anyone mention Nilah. Just hearing about her on release felt like her whole kit was insanity.
id say maybe shyvana has more build diversity.
you can go full ap, full tank, ap bruizer, ad tank and even just full ad.
good video but I think the part with Akali and Kai'Sa is irrelevant to the video. I think you were spot on with Yone, Belveth and Gwen in terms of overloaded champs.
10:46 I'm pretty sure that Katarina (even if its not competitively viable) have more build options
Man, it seems every new champion comes with every possible mechanic they can.
I was still playing when akali was reworked and i had no idea what they were smoking with the w
If shit like ornn, the 4, and akshan exist then gwen in her current state can exist
healing seems common in AP bruisers. mordekaiser and sylas have their W and gwen has her passive. probably no coincidence that mordekaiser and gwen almost always build riftmaker, the only AP item with lifesteal
@@Underworlder5 that's the exact reason they build rift, it compliments their lifesteal, and gives them more truedmg to deal with tanks and for extended trades which they excel at
As another Gwen main, I try not to be biased but I really believe the only overloaded part about her is her Mist, just because of how unique of an ability it is.
@@bullettime1116wich other item we have? like, rift maker, nashor... maybe embrace, but its more like a tank item... rilay doesnt works well with her kit, cosmic drive got turned into a mage item...
I would say Irelia would absolutely end on a top 10 list, she was in a similar position as Akali, a lot of unnecessary mechanics on rework, but not at the same extent as Akali.
Zoe overloaded? Oh yeah the champ whose entire kit is 2 skill shots and broken goredrinker actives is overloaded lol
meanwhile janna's passive is 6% mov speed
Tristana: extra range for E and R
Aphelios has a lot of abilities but they are all really simple. Except when it combines the two weapons
should be noted that belveth's E can be displaced without it being interrupted for some reason
Can't believe you didn't include akshan, the dude literally has almost everything
Id like to see you do your 6 through 10!
Hey Vars i love your videos. I really would love if you turn the music down a bit it’s hard to hear what you say😮
you know vars, eventually you gotta get some better mic quality man.
I love this video! Pleeeaaase make a part 2!
