- Here Is a 310 BHP Abarth 500 VS a modified Ford Focus RS! Enjoy the RACE and the post reaction! This Abarth started its life as a Abarth 500 custom and Bilal has spent so much time and effort creating what i believe to be one of the best looking abarth 500 on the planet which is now running the abarth 695 biposto original full body kit, the biposto OZ ultraleggera wheels. An arqay rear wing to create the down force needed to keep this 300bhp monster on the straight and narrow! There is currently no other MTA abarth running 300bhp let alone 310bhp. This is what makes this so special and sets new benchmarks with what is achievable with the abarth 500 range.

Some more info on this Abarth build that we missed in the video:
-Built turbo and engine from the same company OD
-Build took 2 weeks
-1 week more for cam and engine run in
-hypereutectic pistons suited best for my application (forged enough for 300+bhp).
-fully forged pistons can take pump gas (nitro etc...) but end up with piston slap at startup.
-cams were timed with the stroke to give optimum power

Epic...I've been on track in other vehicles before, but I'm dying to in my Abarth! This looks like great fun!
I know my abarth is slow 🐌 but it's the most fun I've ever had driving a car & this is coming from a previous ford focus st owner! hands down the abarth is one hell of a good time!

300 bhp without a uprated diff, smack one on!
Looks as though trying to overdrive the car. Need to forget about being fast and concentrate on lines and braking points.
Few times missing the turning point or braking point and too much throttle out of the corner causing wheel spin/under steer.
Improve the lines and concentrate on being smooth and the pace will come with that.
Get on a proper track day, you’ll learn a lot more than a 15 minute session at Trax. There’s too many heroes on those sessions.

Waaaaaa! 😭😭😭😭😭 It's winter here and the tracks are closed!! There's two I can go to in the spring. New Hampshire speedway. Yes it's a Nascar oval, but many years before that, they raced motorcycles on a road course track, it's still there. My Dad spent a lot of time with his 1970 240Z and more recent his built 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder. As well as Lime rock road course in Connecticut. Spring won't get here fast enough. I will hit a track day for certain!

They are the OEM Biposto 18" OZ Ultraleggera's finished in Shadow Chrome.
Everyone wants to know about power, power, power. What I want to know is what they did to the handling of the Abarth, because the stock Abarth can get squirrely so something with this sort of power seemed to handle fantastically

Love the car, and HP, but how much mileage will be able to get out of that little engine before it blows up?
It’s fully forged and running safe boost do should be fine.
What does fully forged mean
@@johnpeter7940 The internal parts of the engine are replaced with forged steel, pistons, rods, ect.. The 1.4 multiair is, I think, an iron block stock except the bottom end which was probably replaced also

focus RS has a road presence like perfect sport than abarth...both are good in their own..
The guy driving the RS was a much much much better driver
That Focus was mighty fast, pulled loads on the Abarrh out of the corners. But then again the Fiat is a jumped up toy

@@StefABtv You constantly mention that the RS is tuned, but so is the Abarth aswell. A lot I would say.
I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice to the co pilot, when I drive, I drive hard. Even in my 200 abarth. I would've bee ten that focus if I was behind the wheel.
