That magnificent soulful lived in voice, Carrie and Joan Greenwood had fantastic voices.

Carrie was a great actress and seemed to be very down to earth. Being a native Alabamian myself, she's exactly correct about southern accents.

Carrie was terrific as Susan Piper. I didn't watch the show when she came back in the 90s to play "Carrie," but the ads for it looked interesting. Does anyone know what her role and storylines were like l during that time?

She's from Greenwood, MS, which is about 50 miles from where I'm from. Not sure how long she lived in Mississippi.
Carrie Nye was from Greenwood, MS. Her husband, Dick Cavett, is from Nebraska.
