I propose some move changes for DK in the next game Change giant punch and make it into Fsmash, it can still be charged but cant pocket it. Neutral B will become a barrel projectile that works like peach turnip, with regular, steel, and tnt barrels at random, and to keep it balanced, if DK gets hit, the barrel drops and breaks, if its a tnt, DK takes explosive damage.

The Smash community sucks. Chunky is a fantastic player he literally discovered an oos option for DK that nobody knew about frame 7 upB which is how he destroyed Light 3-0. He spent hours labbing DK showing people that he’s viable.

Being combo food for decent players and bad recovery option outweighs other benefits. Against Skyjay who is always playing an uphill battle he can better punish dk because he knows what it means to use a bad character unlike Light. @@Humandefect Chunky got top 8 at multiple majors. DKs in Japan are getting top 8 and Hikaru got 3rd at a major beating Gluto. Being combo food means nothing Rob is combo food, Bowser is combo food both high tier characters

Too much dark lariat that is usually punishable if whiffed which he did quite a lot. 2 of lost stocks is because Skyjay decided to yolo alolan whip dk after being sent flying 2 times. Props for Chunky for adapting and optimally punishing but yeah those 2 stocks aren't fully because of dk but rather Skyjay being disrespectful towards dk. It's too risky if it misses you give up stage control entirely and the opponent gets a guaranteed grab or smash attack
Way too risky. Skyjay’s short hops prevent CK from grabbing and from using Grounded spinning kong
