Once again, I stumble upon your talents and adventures. Thanks Long Haul!
YeeHa, it's always great to hear from you, and I appreciate you checking out my latest video. I'm heading to Montana in July with some hommies for a week to film a video on the Beartooth Wilderness and Granite Peak. You ought to join us!!
I stayed at Thomas Knob Shelter March 6/7th in 80mph winds. It was loud! Glad I opted out of setting up my Tarp that night.
80mph! That's incredible. I didn't have any way to measure, but I suspect it hit 60 mph while we were there on March 3rd. Would have been comical to try and set up a tent/tarp in that.
Another great video and great storytelling. Beautiful images of winter time in the AT. Love your videos!
Thanks so much. It was a great trip. I hope you've got some more trips planned!
@@whistlepig, Actually this year for the first time I have the opportunity to go out hiking/backpacking for several weeks. (If all goes as planned). Maybe we'll meet on a trail somewhere. That would be cool. Anyhow, same to you, I hope you have plenty of hiking to enjoy!
Love the video. Great narration and editing ! We had similar w our visit to Grayson. Nightfall and a windy white out. Couldn’t see the guy 2 feet away Didn’t sleep for a minute Look forward to your next video !
James, thanks so much for watching. Happy trails!
Michael! Hey Man! I've been there! We hiked there for a few miles saw lots of ponies but sure am glad I did not encounter what you endured! Those winds looked treacherous ‼️ This is some great video..thanks for posting‼️
Q, you would have enjoyed the first night. We had some bourbon to pass the time.
@@whistlepig from the look of that situation it would have called for some barrel proof‼️
