I only started studying karate 6 months ago. So have only being watching your videos for 5 months and 29 days. I wish I found these early videos sooner.
You should do an updated vid for us newbies

Thanks, this helps a lot! I love the "round fold" because it takes up less space!

I love this! Thank you very much for posting it.
I'm very enthusiastic about walking into our next class and showing this off to those who are unfamiliar!

You should make a gi folding kata for those two styles and then develop one for folding a gi in the air with no flat surface.

I always do the maki no gi, because I have a fairly small bag I have from the time I played tennis, because it's smaller and easier to put in this bag. Before I knew these techniques from your video, I just folded everything and stuffed it in my bag, making it wrinkly and almost impossible to close

Thank you so much!!!! I ALWAYS have my Gi end up in a big mess! I really hope this will help me ❤️

Too bad there's rarely clear and clean space to stretch out the gi in changing rooms. So I have to make do with folding that I can do in the air.

+Kimon Froussios Perhaps after training folding is less important since your gi is (hopefully) headed for the laundry anyway.

A valid point indeed. Though compact packing is still relevant to us cyclists who go to the dojo straight from work.

Sweet round one works Percy cause I gotta fit multiple heavy weight gis in my bag with all my other gear and saved me some space for my water bottle 👌

I like the Shikoku no method of folding because I have a bag but both methods work well and anything is better than simply screwing up your GI
