I love that Silerstone Metallic color, I had a 00 XJ "Desert Sand Pearl" aka Grandpa Gold but sold it in a pinch, biggest regret in my car owning life. Matt carved up Jamie's "Amber Fire Pearl" XJ aka The Tangerine for a project but if he knew how rare that color option was he probably wouldn't have did it. His Banana XJ was originally "Maroon" which was also a rare color finish. The XJ is one of the best mid sized 4x4's ever made. Everyone loves to drive them because they handle like a sports car which makes them super fun to drive. The XJ platform is awesome and the after market parts are endless! I can't wait to see what Tom Tom does with this XJ. BTW, Matt is on the lookout for the culprit who cut the claw off his hammer! He might seek revenge soon Tom Tom!

That's a nice looking XJ, you don't find them that nice everyday. These old XJ's work really well even in stock form. The new stuff they are selling today will not go and do what these XJ's will. I don't see many like this one (whatever year models that had this body style) in my part of the country anymore, the salt has claimed most of them. I haven't seen a nice one in years. Some of the junkyards use them to get around their muddy yards but you get wet and muddy riding in them thru the holes that are everywhere,. The bumper is a great addition and looks good on there. It can be used like a real bumper instead of just filling a hole like the original one. This one seems to crawl quite well, have you already worked on the diffs without telling us? Hello Tom,
very nice video. Good idea. It is better if you weld from the inside to the outside, so that the material tension slowly reduces towards the outside. You know this yourself, it's standard in the nuclear sector and it's the right thing to do. The Cherokee, great Jeep, slightly higher, with larger wheels, reinforced shock absorbers and axles. Super. We had these, the G model from Mercedes Benz and the Land Rovers as vehicles on construction sites in North and South America, Africa, Arabia, Australia, Asia and also in Russia. Logically, they were ordered that way, cost a lot of money, but we were able to do our job without delays and the company earned good money. Stay healthy, best wishes from Frankfurt.

that bumper looks great and i really enjoyed the speed welding and the overall mix in the video. A little buggy building with kids here, a little family there, a sprinkle of fabricating decorated with a topping of going offroad. Perfect.
