Hi, why are so many users experiencing DToF malfunction? Do you recommend any Do's and Dont's while using the Deebot vacuums? I am a new customer of Deebot T8.

I have been jump starting the motor on roborock using mobile charger..it will work for some time. The problen may recuur. One thing youbhave to try is to clean the front roller wheels from any hair entanglement.

I just replaced the whole d-tof sensor, but it’s still showing as a d-Tor error! (Red light flashing)
After replacement, the new d-tof appears to be spinning smoothly as you described, and I’ve also tried replacing the small motor and rubber belt to ensure that’s not the problem. Lastly I’ve done a factory reset and deleted the robot/map from the app to start afresh. Still no luck!
Any further suggestions or help is much appreciated😊✌️

Hi I have the same issue after replacing the whole Dtof Sensor, the robot stays stationary and red light comes on with the same Dtof sensor error.

Had the same issue 4 months after I bought it and the warranty covered the repair, today I just sent it for repair for the same damn issue - this time NOT under warranty!!!
I haven’t had the robot Vac three (3) years and in the shop twice!!!
Works great - when it works - but totally upset with the ECOVACS Brand!!!!
There's no doubt that Ecovacs performance is really good. .but anything we use need some maintenance.if we take care, service on time then it won't spoil too fast...I know many customers using this brand & they never bring it to service center...I request them always that before the warranty expires specifically in last month of warranty must bring it to service center so I'll test properly each part...what ever need to replace I'll replace... it's under warranty there won't be any charges & customer can use it longer...in Malaysia senior citizens when see our service they really appreciate..& happy when I teach them about maintenance 🙂🙂
So odd. I ordered a replacement LIDAR and still got the same error. Spins fine too. So it must be on the circuit board below it.

Hey man you literally just saved the day!! My motor was jammed and luckily didn’t have to replace.
How did u resolve the jammed motor?? Mine is still jammed...
@@sud1891 I fallowed the steps to take the cover off then I moved the motor in the direction it spins. Turned the robot on and assisted it turning the sensor and it started turning on its own agian
