With Autotempest I found a truck I didnt know I wanted. I was looking for the newest 4 wheel steering honda prelude I could find, '96 I think. I started looking at all vehicles that came with 4WS and I stumbled on Chevy/GMC. I bought a '04 Silverado 2500 crew cab 4x4 with Quadrasteer! 3 hours north, almost in Canada. One big upsize from a Prelude... 😂

I owned one of those, same year . Replaced the llongblock because it was starved for oil because the pump drive gear failed . Destroyed cam,head and crank. Graet car back in 1989. 1 of 1 used motor available on the west coast at the time.needed a 5 speed.

I had that year and model of Honda. Overhead cams were weak and I had to replace mine. I'd just gotten back from my honeymoon in 1980, about a mile from the house it died. I too did my first ever engine rebuild. Before I got married I did a couple non stop runs from NH to FL with friends. Fun car. I once accidentally drove it, successfully, on a snowmobile trail. Mine had the 4 speed manual. Also came in a 5 speed manual and a 2 speed automatic.
