Cheers to you and to our Legendary friend in the community Joy Amin, reaching his 100k milestone! Big ups to the GRIND you both have for the fragrance community.. I have always felt the heaviness of this channel, truly The Place where the Big players in the game frequent, speaks volumes of the Reviewer & the deep content.
Thomas from Early Greek channel is one of my favorite people in frag comm ... i got a chance to get to know him a little bit chatting via Text and he is an amazing dude... just watching his old videos & his attitude cheers me up everytime 😁
Thanks, bro! Good session as always …. And cost me money as most of the times 😂 Now I’m bidding on a geranium like it’s a collector’s item 😂 🤞... and just grabbed a brand new, sealed Kinski 😅. Couldn’t resist and paid a pretty penny after you mentioned it in a few vids. Naturally, FOMO took over, and well, here we are 😂. no regrets . It fits in perfectly into my wardrobe 👍
New subscriber within the last couple days here. Really enjoy your take on fragrances…especially since you actually read literature on this new hobby of mine. Inspired me to start doing the same. You got a fan in me, Sir :)
That was well worth investing the time to watch/listen to your list, which covered quite a broad spectrum of fragrances both current and past. Thank you for all the time you put into these videos.
By the way, your thoughts on Le Lion 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 fascinating and much learning as always, Professor! My problem is I’m like in the middle of this one, the Top 100 ranked, AND the aldehydes 🤣😂
Absolutely love these marathon videos! Watched this at least three times lol...getting distracted having it end and just starting it over. Thanks for all the effort you put forward for the channel and our amusement education and/or entertainment! Keep up the great work, Mate! smell swell & be well! xox
Brodda, just wanna say that your videos are SUPER well put together, informative, and just plain entertaining man. Great job on these posts! Your passion for this art form really comes accross for sure.. kudos
Hey Sir Ramsey sorry I haven’t been viewing lately but I lost my mom this month on the 11 th so I’ve been busy with that. Just want to say thanks for this video much appreciated due to I can find these fragrance and thanks for listening all the info for us to reference. Your works and diligence to detail will pay off I pray you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and A happy new year 🎉!
So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother😔 Not that it is the same thing but my Aunt passed away yesterday... my mother comes from a big catholic family, and you know how there is always that one Aunt or Uncle you really get along with and relate to? That was my Aunt Donna 🥺 Sorry for your loss 🙏
@@RamseytheRam You mentioned Myths reminding someone of a nightmare. For me it flashed this image of a barren stretch of earth so white it’s lunar, the aftermath of some planet-altering catastrophe, but not a recent one: it happened a thousand years ago and nothing has moved since. It’s the smell of a never-ending nothingness. Not gloom, not darkness: nothingness. Perfume hardly ever effects me. I’m a cold fish that way. But this made me feel uneasy.
@@RamseytheRam I can 100% get why someone would fall for it. Haven’t encountered anything like it. I think it’s that ash note. It’s not a dark, greasy ash, but a clean, white one, like being in a place that had been cleansed with fire. I swear, usually the most response a fragrance elicits from me is, “Damn, this is nice” or “Nope.” This one did something to me.
Fantastic list, Ramsey!! Was surprised at first that Nishane Hacivat wasn’t on there but then I remembered that you dislike sweet fragrances. Still though…great list! Thanks!
I would take Aventus over Hacivat anyday... plus I actually dont own a bottle of Hacivat 🤷♂️ So it makes it hard to include it... thanks so much for watch & commenting 😊
Actually that airplane excuse is a pretty good one. 😆 One spray in the cabin and it's free advertising. Can't stand those Voyage d'Hermes bottles though. Might as well be a USB stick. In fact, Ifi from Ifishares got a brand new, sealed and wrapped bottle once that came busted with like 30% of the juice missing. Very strange. But sotm Overture Man! Just picked up a decant of the women's version and I'm surprised how much I like it. Basically what I envisioned FM's POAL would smell like, with a slightly smoky, fruity-amber touch. There is a bit of that woody-amber-saffron going on in the opening, but Menardo balanced it decently with the sweetness. Shamilar Millesime Tonka probably my fav from this year. 📆
@@RamseytheRam yeah makes sense! I smelled LIDGE once and I mostly got tea I feel like kokorico has more of the cacao and patchouli. Wish I got a bigger bottle!
John Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider is still under $100. A good deal. I wish they made an edp version of it. Such a good scent. You can pick up the vanilla as well.
Your videos are teaching me not to sell fragrances I don't like/no longer want. I sold my Pour Le Soir and now it's going for $800, sold Gentleman and now it's going for $100. And there are many more you have mentioned on other videos lol I recently sold Vetiver Oriental, Grand Soir and Ormande Jayne man so i'm sure those will sky rocket too.
@@RamseytheRam Yea, I have this thing where I don’t want to see them in my collection. I guess I’ll just box them up and throw them in my closet for safe keeping from now on. Really enjoy the channel!
i have a first batch viking that still seems like the old creed to me lol. when i tell people how it performs they dont believe me, and it smells mega natural to me
Totally agree Sean... OG Viking from 2017 is an amazing fragrance... the fact I went through a whole 100ml bottle and then bought a 500ml decant from the year 2017 speaks volumes 🤌🤌🤌
Basically all on this list, is my have or want list 👍 Others include: Bvlgari man black orient Bvlgari kobraa Prada Marienbad Prada desert serenade Armani prive cuir majeste Armani prive encens satin Armani prive myrrh imperial Lalique hommage voyageur Lalique Ombre noire
From the List I only have a full bottle of Hommage à l'Homme Voyageur but it is also discontinued & hard to find now... luckily just got a decant of Marienbad from Armando! Cant wait to sniff all these new decants 🙏🙏
Myths Man smells like Soleil de Jeddah to me. I tested them side by side and there are some differences, but they smell more alike than different. I get no ash in Myths Man for some reason and it bothers me. I love both fragrances, with Myths being the slightest bit better. Side note, you definitely have the best fragrance channel on RUclips. If anyone says differently………well, you know what they can do. Never stop making content.
It’s much the same as Myths Man. I can definitely send you a healthy sample of you would like. I would be interested to know if you interpret it how I do.

Great video as always. You’re so right about Creed. I’m so grateful to have discovered Creed back when the gray cap collection was alive and well. Those were the days! Royal English Leather, Baie de Geneivre, Acier Aluminum, Royal Delight, etc. I even scored a Vintage Tabarome before it was discontinued. I cherish every bottle.
I only have two Creeds, Royal Oud (2016 batch, 120ml) and Viking (2019). After getting into Indi and Artisanal perfumery I sold off many of my designers and niche fragrances, as they don't interest me anymore! But Royal Oud and Viking, I'm thinking of getting backup bottles if I managed to hunt down older batches. They are so good, love your picks man! Great video...🙏
I actually bought two bottles of the Pharrell perfume “Girl” on eBay, a seller was selling two new bottles for $35 a few yrs ago. I blind bought it. Now I see ppl are going nuts looking to buy it . Sheesh I didn’t even like it. I tried to get rid of them for so long. But nobody would buy them. But now I’m getting ppl who want to buy them from me at 3times what I paid. I don’t get it. I personally don’t like it at all.
You talked about Salome and Bal a Versailles. Which do you think it's the most stinky, skanky perfume you have smelled? Salome, Bal a Versailles, Muscs Khoublai Khan, Furyo, Juste Filthy, Musk Tonkin, vintage Kouros, Leather Oud, or maybe other?
The most challenging animalic fragrance I have ever smelled?! My God! I dont know because I generally L0VE animalic perfumes... what many perceive as stinky lr challenging appeal to me... i have to think on that Vlad... maybe something like HDP Rare Petroleum?🤔 I dont know let me sleep on it lol

the women fendi that you're talking about in your video came out in 1985 and not 1987. Profumo got it wrong. fragrantica and basenotes got it right. it came out in 1985. it was the first perfume launched by fendi. it now has been discontinued for more than a decade. it's going for $300 and above for 100ml. the alternative for women fendi is ungaro diva, which created by jacques polge, still in production. the difference is women fendi is more mossy leathery than ungaro diva, and not as feminine as diva. but they both are so similar to one another that if you can not find women fendi for a reasonable price you can find ungaro diva for $50. as far as ungaro diva goes make sure you get the vintage version and not the modern version, because the vintage version is way better.
