കേരളത്തിലെ ഐ എ എസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരിലെ ഗുരുവായൂർ കേശവൻ ആണ് ഡോക്റ്റർ ബാബു പോൾ! ഒരു സിവിൽ സർവീസുകാരൻ എങ്ങിനെ ആയിരിക്കണം എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചാൽ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുവാൻ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്ന കാലത് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരേ ഒരു മഹാൻ. നർമ്മവും, വേദ ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളിലെ അറിവും, കുലീനമായ മത ബോധവും (എല്ലാ മതങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും) സമന്ന്വയിച്ച അപൂർവം വ്യക്തിതങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്ന്. ദൈവം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ദീർഘായുസ്സും, ആയുരാരോഗ്യ സൗഖ്യവും കൊടുക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

My mother and Chachan are first cousin.She used to tell me about how Achan guided and instructed both Babu Chachan and Roy Chachan . Now Babu Chachan is not there but Even today my friends used to tell me about how they enjoyed Chachan’s speeches.They used to comment “ ദേടാ നിന്റെ അമ്മാച്ചൻ”.
I remember in May 1986 I went to him to take his advice prior joining to my Railway Job. He prayed for me and blessed me.I remember that even today. We never approached Chachan to do a favour out of way and he never did it also using his good office.
