    Why use a waterless car wash?
    Many states and countries around the world are restricting water use. Using this type of product allows you to clean your car without using water.
    Water might not be accessible for you to wash your car. For example if you live in an apartment building or in a house with no hose nearby. A waterless car wash solves this problem by allowing you to clean your car without using water.
    Just as an eco-friendly alternative to save water and reduce your water bill.
    How does a waterless car wash product work?
    Once sprayed onto the surface, the product lifts and separates dirt from the surface, suspending it, allowing it to be wiped away using a quality microfiber cloth.
    Does a waterless car wash product scratch the paint?
    No. Thanks to lubricating agents and surfactants contained in the product, there is no danger of scratching the paint because of the lubricating agents and surfactants contained in the product, which reduce friction of the dirt, allowing the microfiber cloth to glide over the surface and pick up the dirt before it scratches the paint. Just follow the simple technique described in the video:
    Make sure you work in a shaded area and that the surface is cool to the touch.
    Spray the product generously on the surface.
    Allow to dwell for a couple of seconds to allow the product to loosen the dirt and lift it off the surface.
    Using a clean microfiber cloth, wipe the product in a straight line with very little pressure.
    Flip the microfiber cloth on a dry side and buff off.
    Can you use a waterless car wash on any surface? Yes. Waterless car wash products can be used to clean any exterior surface: paintwork, plastic trims, rubber, chrome, glass, etc.
    Once the dirt is lifted off the surface, the waterless car wash shines and protects your paint using either all natural carnauba wax or a synthetic sealant (depending on which product you buy). You are able to clean, shine and protect your vehicle in minutes, all while being eco-friendly as this uses no water.

    I know im a little late but I just started waterless and rinseless washing about 2 months ago. I use 3 products from Mckee's 37 1. Waterless wash n go concentrate 2. Rinseless Wash and Wax also a concentrate 3. N-914. All 3 work great they also can be diluted with distilled water and make 3 to 5 different products like detail spray and spray on wax, claybar lubricant give them a try. I also use 2 to 10 towels depending on the dirt on the car for the wash or dirt removal, and 1 or 2 separate plush towels for the buffing.

    Ive been using either the Adams WW towel or Eagle 500 for the initial wipe. Final buff using the TRC Pluffle. This allows the Adams towel to get completely dirty (all sides) and the Pluffle stays rather clean.

    Well done 👍 Pan. I mainly use waterless/rinseless wash to save water because in my area there is a drought and if I want to use water I have to go to coin car wash which can be inconvenient. Also you even get a fine of $500 for washing car without a shut off nozzle. I live in Southern California if you were wondering.

    Very good demonstration of how to correctly use the Waterless Wash Waxes. I just tried this week the Meguiars Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax. I studied the technique , and my car's paint was very nicely cleaned & waxed when all finished, I love this product as I'm not a fan of getting out the hose, buckets & all the stuff needed for a water wash anymore, I'm lazy, LOL. I'm a big fan of your videos, you do a great job, making all details very clear. I'm a bit surprised you did not include the Meguiar's Waterless Wash & Wax, it's a great product. Thanks,

    Great video. Love waterless .. I only spray 1 section about 1 towel wipe in width and the length of the entire section I’m doing at once. Then I wipe that one section and buff . I’m glad you taught me this time saving method. You never turned the towel and sprayed the entire hood and wiped with just 1 section of towel. That will save me 45 minutes at least 🙏🙏

    This technique is the equivalent of a Window Washer using a squeegee on a window, except the micro-fiber towel acts as the squeegee.
    I tried this technique to get dirt of my car that had built up for a few days and after it rained. It works very well as long as you have the proper towels. There are various thicknesses to these micro-fiber towels, use the "thicker" one for the best results. :)

      I still can’t recommend a waterless wash if someone has access to water they should use a traditional wash method or at least a rinseless wash.
      Waterless washes for me are a last alternative when no access to water is possible due to water bans/restrictions where you live.

    I have a retirement gift to myself arriving soon, black Camaro Zl1 convertible. I just found out my town just outside Boston is considering banning driveway washing :( The real solution would be having the storm drains terminate at a water treatment plant instead of waterways!!! Hopefully, this method works without damaging the paint. Will need to get a ceramic coat on the vehicle immediately after it arrives and stock up on lots of MR towels.

    My routine/advice: Rinse first if necessary or possible and use a portable pressure foam to pressurise and apply the Waterless wash product. The foam lifts dirt and moisturises the finish at the same time. Do half the car first from top to bottom or work in smaller sections. Leave the foam for a moment (not in direct sunlight) then wipe in 1 direction. Job done!

      Yes you can and I typically will use 6 towels for a vehicle (make sure you use a dedicated towel for wheels, that you won't use on the paintwork). For a more evolved technique, you should watch my rinseless wash tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/RP_BZ-jZBnY/видео.html
      Of course, keep in mind that both waterless and rinseless washes are ALTERNATIVES only recommended when free flowing water isn't available (apartments, condos, cities with heavy water restrictions, etc). If you have access to water, I always recommend traditional wash methods like my classic tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/PugdSwF9d9w/видео.html

    Tip. If you buy a new car, use a waterless car wash only from day one for normal traffic grime. I bought a new car four years ago and only washed it twice with a hose and a bucket of suds. After four years of using a waterless car wash I cannot see any scratch's on the paint work even under a bright light. So if you buy a new car use waterless car wash only.

    I'm new at this, and I think I have made a terrible mistake by spraying a waterless wash and wax onto a microfiber towel instead of onto the car. If I haven't been using enough product, it seems like a dangerous technique. I haven't noticed scratching - it would be pretty visible, wouldn't it? Thanks, Pan!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  6 месяцев назад +1

      Correct. 👍🏻 A waterless wash is really the last alternative when no other safer wash method is available. And if the vehicle is super dirty, don’t use a waterless wash to clean it, you will scratch the heck out of the paint.

    • @thinkforyourself5672
      @thinkforyourself5672 3 года назад

      You can but it's going to trash your microfibers. I use whatever cleaner I'm using at the time with a wheel brush but also use a spray bottle with water in It . I'll agitate, spray with water and repeat the process until the filthy black water is pretty much gone. Then hit it with towels. Try to use old one's for the tires. I have dedicated microfibers just for my tires and rims. They will get stained and trashed pretty quickly.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад

      A waterless wash should only be used as an alternative when access to water is prohibited or restricted. If you have access to free flowing water, ALWAYS use the traditional wash method with water and shampoo.
      Common sense: even if the waterless product is good and has lubrication, you're still wiping dirt on a semi-dry surface, so yes over time, you will likely see swirls and scratches start to form.
      If the car isn't too dirty, and you want a better alternative to a waterless wash, without the need of a garden hose, I would recommend the rinseless wash method, which I have a tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/RP_BZ-jZBnY/видео.html

    Hi Pan! Is P&S BeadMaker considered a waterless car wash product? What's the difference between a waterless car wash product and a quick detailer?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Год назад

      No. Bead Maker is a paint sealant. Not meant to clean or wash car.
      A waterless wash has more lubricants and other components (surfactants, emulsifiers, etc) that make it clean the surface. A quick detailer is meant more for touch-ups like fingerprint smudges, or removing a light layer of dust, and boosting gloss and slickness. QDs aren't meant to really clean.
      Again though, a waterless wash is only an alternative to a proper car wash using water and mitts and buckets. Only use a waterless wash if you have ZERO access to water, and use your common sense to not use a waterless wash on a super dirty car as you'll be scratching the paint.
