1:40 honestly that sounds more like an OCD thing. having to do some sort of "ritual" (such as drinking 4 times or praying twice a day) because you're worried that something bad will happen if you don't is mainly what OCD is. I think people stereotype it a lot and most think that it's just obsessive hand washing and being scared of getting ill, but it's more than that
1:37 sounds very much like a form of OCD called magical thinking, I was diagnosed with OCD a few years back and also have to do things related to the number 4, thank you so much for having this platform and talking about things like this, I definitely feel less alone to hear people who have the same thing ❤
@@camkirkhambabyy Honestly mate, I'd recommend talking to someone about it, because the constant anxiety of having that on your shoulders is a lot. don't take advice from ppl on the internet and all, but genuinely helped me tons as someone with bucket loads of anxiety and an ex "My family will die if I don't check the lights 3-5 times" switch-flicker. I have it and the best thing I do is speak to a special teacher at school obvs ik u can’t do that bc ur not at school but maybe talk to someone because it did help a lot
@serinadelmar6012 my ex had at at first with tapping, then turning lights switches, then door handles and his own breathing to the point where he ended up hospitalised. It's a sign of underlying anxiety and when prolonged can be dangerous
When i was a teen, i used to be terrified that the house would burn down in my sleep and kill my family. So i had this ritual where I'd walk around and make sure the lights were off multiple times. It would take me atleast an hour to complete before bed. It would be worse during times of stress. Ive grown out of it now (thankfully)
The kid skit is true, picking my kid up from nursery and this hot man was putting the rubbish out I was pretending he didn’t exist I was doing a really good job until my little angel shouted ‘Mummy why is that man naked’ (repeatedly), pretending he didn’t exit after that was very hard work.
cam that sounds a lot like ocd. i’ve been diagnosed since i was really young and i do the exact same things as you. people tend to think ocd is keeping things organised and even though that can be the case sometimes it’s usually the way you do things like feeling paraniod if you don’t do something a certain amount of times or the praying to keep your family safe twice a day. there are a lot of things that can help with it though!
Cameron soo glad for you reaching 100k and we all know u deserve a million bc your allways so funny and cheerful and your videos allways make my day better.
The crossing road for animals thing holds up really well in Canada. We have so much wildlife and so many huge forests that those animals come out of to cross the street. So you frequently see traffic jams when someone is herding some friends over the road.
I can only ever set the volume of something to an even number. Also, if I turn the telly or radio off when the presenter is in the middle of a word, I have to turn it back on and have another go at turning it off once they've finished a word. Life is tough. 😆
"Anybody wanna go to the beach and start eating people?"....that's a food pic worthy of Instagram! Also, based on my experience on the last day of the season away at Elland Road...it seems that parking on the pavement is indeed not appreciated, parking wardens had a field day with us.
What you're describing at the start IS OCD btw. I have it, also with 4. Like if I accidentally touch something while having a bad thought (bad like negative, not bad like dirty lol) I have to touch it 3 more times t make 4. Or I have to repeat things 4 times. Sometimes I have to do it 4 x 4 times. It's exhausting!
@@_hello-.- I got prescribed diazepam (valium) not to take all the time, but just went it's really bothering me, like I can get into cycles where I repeat words or phrases in my mind over and over. I'd definitely talk to someone if it makes you distressed or it's happening enough to interfere with doing normal things.
8:00 this reminds me of a story from when I was younger, it was my birthday and i was eating KFC with my mate on my doorstep. A seagull came down and started eating my chicken wings so my Dad just kicked it up the bum thinking it was just going to fly away but it must have been committed to those hot wings. 🤣🤣🤣😅
I have a similar thing, because I have OCD I have a really weird set of rules. If I walk by something, step on a specific surface or whatever it has to be 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 times. And if it is an odd number above 1, like 3 or 5 then it has to start on my right foot because I always have to stop walking over something on my right foot. Like it sounds made up but I genuinely do have to, otherwise it justs irritates me. And it's the same with video games, my gun in a shooter has to have ammo that's on a multiple of the magazine capacity so each reload fits perfectly. If I have a gun with a 30 round mag, my ammo storage has to be in the multiple of 30s otherwise I just feel weird. If I have a sandwich for example, I have to eat the crust in 5 bites and the rest of it in 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 bites. Genuinely is so weird since it makes NO difference in my life, like I could just eat normal or do any of this normal but my mind just doesn't let me.
2:08 hey so maybe get checked for OCD 😭 my mom has OCD and it’s the same for her. Quick thing though if you don’t do those things an even amount of times do you feel like something bad will happen? Also how often do you have intrusive thoughts? If yes and often, please get tested for OCD or other things. ☺️♥️
I’m exactly the same with even numbers!! I thought I was the only one. The volume on the tv HAS to be even and I have to give my dogs an even number scoops of dog food lmao

Mate, odd numbers are better than even numbers. I mean, almost every even number has something bad connected to it. Look at 6 for instance. While odd numbers, nothing. I mean, we all know lucky number 3 or 7. And 1 is just 1. Also, there's this superstition that if you say something arrogant that might come back and bite your ass later, you've gotta knock on wood 3 times so you don't get a visit from old Karma.
