Fun fact, this was swedish state educational television. Morgan Ågren pretty much had different friends on, played progressive music and then ended it with a short drum task to practise for next week. The ”Sol niger within” medley of Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah) and Morgan was recorded for the same program. Inspirational for the kids to say the least!
Wonderful reaction! This is actually a tribute to Lasse Hollmer of the Swedish 70's prog-band Samla Mammas Manna. I actually got to attend a performance with Lasse Hollmer as a special guest (on accordeon) in 2008. He sadly passed later that year.
In the words of Mr Zappa himself ”They played unbelieveable... unbelieveable!” on the time Mats and Morgan joined him on stage as teenagers. He was asked in dutch TV what made him happy and he refered back to those boys from Uuumeaa (Umeå) from last night’s concert.
After the 7/4, the 5/4, the 3,3,3,2,2, and God knows what else, the 4/4 in the middle just seems wrong. 😂 sometimes Daves random spurts of words, e.g., Scooby snacks ends up sounding like some kind of odd beat poem. I enjoyed this. Thanks.
I did not know what to make of this at all. It did sound, at times, like a video game or loops an old Casio Keyboard would do to show you all the different sounds. Talented dudes it seems and drums I dug but without vocals and a melody I could relate to, I was lost. Here's a reaction request thats hard to categorize. Its definitely vintage rock sounding but drum parts are modernish. Its the band Night, with the tune: Time ruclips.net/video/y4fuE_Fwn6E/видео.html

As a Swede, I must admit that I have never heard of this "proggish" group before. Intresting.
They are amazing 🤩
I have no words for that.
“…if being completely out of time wasn’t a thing” 😂

Definitely not my cup of tea … this was probably composed by someone with ASD and ADHD … or maybe I am just to dumb to understand this 🤣
Hate to break this to you...
Composed by a blind man.
