On a big tv show they did a horrible job showing the performance. Instead of filming it they concentrated on showing the audience. So Bighit filmed and released it from multiple camera angles😂
Yea some tv show was hella disrespectful with the camera work on a performance so basically BTS said bet! we got this!!

It was their intro performance for the song 'Danger' for a big TV show in 2014. But the camera work of the show was so shitty that Big Hit - as petty as they should be - theached them a lesson - or 3... BTS are excellent dancers and performers so to not see their hard work was a shame. BTS often have dance breaks or dance performances in addition of their songs during big awards/shows.

I love this choreography. It was an inteo dance break to a performance for a broadcast. Bighit said the guys worked too hard for the broadcast station to ignore this part of the performance so they ened up recording it and releasing it themselves.

As you may have noticed from BigHit's videos, camera angles are important for this performance. There are lots of elements in it and highlighting it is the main focus of the performance. All the formations are well thought out. So it not being translated well on the official performance is such a big let down. They practiced so much to achieve a great performance and its not being shown well on the broadcast. So as petty as it is, BH "schooled" them on how to do "A very good camera"and "A good camera" angles with another bonus shot.. 🤣🤣 it's one of those things that is soo soo good..
And yes that's Rollin by LimpBizkit! The 1st time i saw this i was elated coz that's one song I recognized coz i've been listening to their songs way back..

I really enjoyed this!!! This is one of my all time favorite dance videos. I will try to help with the understanding, which really isn't much. BTS was preforming for an event and apparently the camera person in charge did a lousy job ( such great dance ) and so BTS made this. Sorry could not be for more help. Back then Bang PD even monitored their eye movements so that they were in synch....He clearly knew what was going to make them stand out from the rest... and all that hard work and practice definitely paid off.... there's nobody like them....

Thx Teej! As you see in the comments before me, this was a dance break from one of their first songs called Danger. It shows 3 different angles since back then, the shows didn’t care for them and didn’t do proper camera work. Bang PD made sure that they were seen by creating this performance intro. The 1st word called out was ‘Danger’ then the others. I too love when they reverse. I’m not sure, but someone may correct me if it was JK who did a backwards somersault while reversing. All of them are amazing in that part too! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜. Yes, it was LimpBizkitfor the ‘rollin rollin rollin’. Good catch! I’m exhausted from 4 days of major yard work not counting regular things and today here is so humid that I’ve already poured water over me once and showered twice so it’s super great to rest for this short moment and see your reaction. Someone left the link for the real MV in your own time. Btw, I also love the lights behind you. From your last comment, I decided to do what you do for middle of the night scribbles. In Suchwita, Hoshi (Seventeen Performance Leader) said that BTS is the first group to performance with a lot of backup dancer in Korean Award show. This performance is supossed to be their performance in award show but they (the award show) cut they're performance

Watching them dance to Limp Bizkit made me so happy when I first saw it. Then I realised Jungkook must have been 2 when that song came out and I felt old.
I finally got to see Rollin' performed live last year. I was back at the same venue this year to see Korn for their 30th anniversary. It's so crazy realising how long some of these bands have been playing now.
Anyway, tangent aside, I always get really happy when I see BTS and nu metal collide. There's a video of them performing with Seo Taiji, who is worth doing a bit of research on as he's quite a big figure in kpop history as well as nu metal, his career spans across genres. You don't need to react to him or anything but I would check out Internet War and Ultramania to get a feel for him, it's like... if Korn were korean. So BTS covered a song called Class Idea and then performed with him on his 25th anniversary concert. My partner just watched it with me and went "why aren't they dropping a nu metal album? They would kill it!" Especially after hearing V doing his growls.
