I just love first time reactors jumping from Dynamite to Mic Drop lol. Its two complete different songs and people are confused and its funny. 💜💜💜
Same it’s funny😆. Tho at the same time I wish people would stop reacting to dynamite first😅. It’s better to react to something that’ll open your horizons if your just getting into them. But for some reason out of the over 300 songs they have people usually pick the poppiest most known song, that they’ve not only probably already heard and made their misconceptions about🤦🏾♀️. And even if they hadn’t just going for the most popular isn’t usually a good idea because “most popular” doesn’t equal a good representation of one’s music🤐
Like I get it people just want to follow what’s familiar but if you already think they’re just liked for their looks and their music is just lollipops and gummy bears listening to dynamite or butter is obviously not going to really change your mind😶 (sorry for the rant tho😭my bad)
Dynamite is okay, but when they start with Idol, it’s funny. I know a lot of people who were not embarrassed by this and they joined Army ranks💜
The way this song is 6 years old but I remember exactly where I was when it dropped 😂 I remember going to my friends house in middle school and seeing it and screamed in the car. Screaming at how j-hope look screaming how RM looked almost to the point that my mom almost kicked my out of the car 😂😂😂

I had the same “Oh, I’m totally on board now.” feeling at about the same part of this song.
I had first encountered them when they performed DNA in autumn 2017 at the BMAs, & I was really impressed by their inventive choreography & overall vibe. The song didn’t hook me, though.
Then I watched the Dynamite MV when it came out in 2020, & I loved it. Still, I didn’t look further.
Then I saw the Butter MV in 2021, & I thought it was brilliant. And finally, a couple months later, I watched Mic Drop-and that was it, I decided I was completely & totally a fan.
I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best decisions of my whole life.

I don't know why people always insist that everything they do is practical effects, lol. They've used green screen and cgi effects and such in plenty of their MV's. It's just that they also use a lot of practical effects, often in ways and places you don't expect. And some of their MV's, like Fake Love, are almost exclusively practical effects despite some pretty impressive visuals.
The explosion in Mic Drop is a practical effect, but I'm pretty sure the things falling on the sky are not.
This seems out of nowhere, but I think you might like "Attack on Bangtan" or "Ma City" by BTS

I'm watching and enjoying your reaction videos for a while now and I'm really happy that you start to explore the music of BTS. Because they are such a great band with millions and miilions of fans across all genders, ages and cultures. I am an almost 43 years old male from Germany and I love this band and their music. Many people think of them as a typicall boy group and as puppts who have to play their role. But BTS is so much more than that. Almost all of their songs are co-written/produced by the band members and they have made a lot of really deep concept albums. And on these albums they talk about themes like self love (on their three albums "Love Yourself: Her", "Love Yourself: Tear" & "Love Yourself: Answer") , psychology (their albums "Map of the Soul: Persona" and "Map of the Soul: 7" are heavilly inspired by the psychological theories of the Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung), classic literature (their album "Wings" and it's re-package "You Never Walk Alone" is inspired by the 1919 novel "Demian" by the German novelist Hermann Hesse) or the COVID-19 pandemic (on their album "BE"). And there are lot of other musicians who like BTS a lot, like the Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, Brian May (Queen), Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and many others.
Many people are misunderstanding their huge success as a hype, but that*s completely wrong. In my opinion BTS are a really rare phenomenon in pop music - there is something sepcial about the band and there music. And that's the reason why they are so popular.
BTS consisted of 4 vocalists and 3 rappers. Each members has their own uniqueness / distinct style also their versatility is no joke. They made a lot of musics/album of different genres such as hip-hop, pop, rock, etc. Here's some introduction of the members in timestamps. There are different roles for each members.

I discovered them recently in their yet to come Concert in cinema, and let me tell you, they make me smile like a child and sometimes they make me cry of happiness just because they are so great and they inspire me to become a better person myself. Yes, of course, they are also very cute, from my perspective, but mostly because they are incredibly talented and I am sensitive to appreciate true talent. I recommend you their first videos as well: bulletproof, boy in luv, war of hormones, fire... These songs possibly will make you happy too. 🥰😅🥰
Aww their yet to come concert was amazing. Honestly they deserve the world. They are successful because of their hard work, talent and quality of their works, but they are loved because of who they are as humans.

This is a song for their haters. BTS were literally underdogs when they started in 2013. RM and Suga who used to be underground wrappers received a lot of hate from their peers because they chose to become KPop idols. In South Korea, KPop idols were not considered artists as they were not the ones who write, compose and produce their songs. BTS, however has always been involved in writing, composing and producing their songs even before their debut in 2013. They were insulted, looked down upon and many people told them that they were not going to make it because their company was relatively small and doesn't have the influence over radios, televisions and other korean medias. But because of their talents and their own blood, sweat and tears, they made it this big in less than a decade. They turned their struggling company into the biggest KPop company and one of the most profitable companies in South Korea. Thanks for reacting to BTS again.
The first rapper is Jung Hoseok AKA J-hope. He is also the dance leader and main dancer. He learned how to rap during their trainee days but he was a champion street dancer (hip-hop, popping, locking) He is a songwriter, composer and producer.
The second rapper is Min Yoongi AKA Suga / Agust D (for his solo). He used to bes an underground rapper. He is the one of the main songwriters but he is the main producer of the group.
The third rapper is Kim Namjoon AKA RM (came out of the ambulance) He was also an underground rapper. He is the leader of the group not because he got most of the parts in the song but because he is in-charge of keeping the team united and focused on their goals. He communicates with the company in behalf of the members. He is the spokesperson whenever there are speeches and English interviews. He's the only one who speaks English fluently. He is also the main songwriter with Suga. He is also a producer and composer.

Then there was a big deal being discussed about Jungkook travel issues while going to Qatar to sing at FIFA opening ceremony. I made sure to watch it, AND I've been hooked ever since. I really like the Mic Drop Dance Practice beacause you get to see the whole dance! With back up dancers and a dance break. Highly recommend it even if you don't react to it.

There are often several versions of the Official" music video.
The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out"
"Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project.
“With Seoul” is a BTS song and film highlighting Seoul as a vacation spot. The original also shows them recording it. They have also done 3 other versions, including a “short” on 2020-09-11; a beautiful drone visual of Seoul (The Four Seasons of Seoul” on 2019-12-30, & an amazing drone visual mv on 2021-01-09.
My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh.
There are loads of their other songs including some of my favorites: “Dionysus”, “Ma City”, “Truth Untold”, ”Outro: Tear”, “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “Dimple”, “Butterfly”, etc. and their solo, rapline, vocal line, short films, comeback trailers, etc. not included.

bts is a rabbit hole, when you discover a song, you can't stop the curiosity to discover more and more, welcome to the bts trap!
You know something I realized. Most bts/kpop haters don’t actually “hate” them/it. They just think they do because those three popular songs/MVs they heard or saw floating around that didn’t seem to suit their interests. Then they cling to the stereotypes and rumors because that’s all they know. Because they’ve never actually checked the music or the people out themselves. That’s not exactly hating something that’s just not knowing anything about it so your only able to make assumptions based off of what you hear or what other people say/popular bias. And being ignorant about the subject matter because you personally haven’t gotten involved in it which is a pretty common thing. Some haters are more passionate about it and insist all these things because they’ve decided to remain ignorant sadly😑, and follow the crowd. But it takes a lot to move past stigmas and seek knowledge about something you know nothing about in order to understand it, rather than resign yourself to thinking you hate or dislike it. As soon as people genuinely try to get into them more often than not they fall in love pretty quickly lol 😂
I know I’m pretty late right now but I really gotta mention this. The fire that went off when they were dancing was an actual fire. It actually went off in order to get such a huge fire and to make it so real at 8:23. It sounds crazy but yes that’s the fact. You can pause it and break it as you like. This song is fire! Amazing that this is an old song that feels so fresh, so new. They have impressive hundreds of songs. Rap line songs, vocal line songs, solos, mixtapes, all 7 songs.... you name it.

BTW it's no accident you were told to hate them. There are industry players that actively don't want BTS in the states. They try to overlay the "boy band" filter on these guys which given their entire discography is absolutely not fair. As you publish these reactions there will be people that will try to talk you outta this. Those people too were told what to think of them.
Careful with this rabbit hole tho. Baby army sometimes take a week off work to catch up. Pace yourself.

Every MV is of the highest quality! Nothing simple about it. A lot of songs have messages of self-love, love yourself, etc. My first MV was On- Kinetic Manifesto: Coma Prima. Once you start, the rabbit hole goes very deep! I love their Japanese performances.

I previously don’t like BTS as well, I was from another Kpop fandom and I avoid to watch their contents bcoz I don’t really know them and a lot of ppl mentioned them! I tot they’re kind of trendsetter that time and ppl would forget about them soon
But after I tried to listen to their song, their album and watch their videos, I change my mind. They really create good music and are all very talented ppl. I’m glad that I put down the prejudice and listen to them, now I’m their ARMY and forever will be! This year is my 7th years with them, I’ve changed a lot bcoz of them, at least I won’t hate someone before I try to get to know them for now!

So much fun stuff in this video. They have faced a lot of hate in their come up which they address in several songs such as the Cyphers parts 1 to 4, RM's solo stuff like Joke and Do You, Suga's solo stuff (as Agust D) in self named song Agust D etc. Mic Drop was their final farewell to the haters. They start in an interrogation room with cameras and mics in their faces constantly harrased by the media and haters. The people in black hoodies represent the haters, rioting and throwing smoke bombs at them at them. Other scene is a prison, given a little more room but still kept in a confined space. They break outside and RM shoots the haters "Mic Drop, Bam" and they fall out of sight. They break out of their confined space to an outside scene and explode, roasting their haters. The burning bodies of their haters fall from the sky and they say farewell to them saying they are not even looking for apologies they just don't need to address it anymore because they proved that they could succeed. Cool video. They really do have a lot of awards, it has reached something like 900 now.

Hey! Thank you for your reaction! I love when people (especially reactors) are respectful of BTS and they dive more into the meanings of their songs and their musicality rather than going "oh, their dancing is cool" or "it's so catchy".
BTS songs are mostly composed and written by themselves with some help from their own company’s in-house producers (Supreme Boi, Pdogg, Slow Rabbit, Hiss Noise, Adora, ‘Hitman Bang’-CEO of the company and a few more others). They usually write songs that speak about mental health, society & social issues, speaking up for the youths and self-love. They are also incredible lyricists and often use a lot of metaphors, double (or triple, even quadruple) entendres, psychological, literary and philosophical themes, real events, etc. Fans like myself love them for their music along with their amazing personality, hard work, altruism and kindness.
All their songs have meanings behind their lyrics. So if you react to their MVs or songs make sure to read the lyrics (doolset has the best translations, but genius doesn't do a bad job) and turn on the CCs!
And their albums are heavily referenced to psychological theories, literature and art.
Their album series ‘Map of the Soul’ is based on the book called ‘Jung’s Map of the Soul’ by Carl Jung.

I think it's good to watch and listen to [2021 FESTA] BTS (방탄소년단) BTS ROOM LIVE since it is kind of sampler of their music. You get to see how diverse it is and plus their live singing and rapping is so good.
At the BTS concert in Paris in 2019 they played this video before the concert and the crowd was singing along IN KOREAN. That was a great vibe.

Great reaction! Now you realise why they have somewhere around 90+ million fandom = A.R.M.Y. 80% 20-80 years old. Two totally different songs and both good. In fact, it's difficult for me as a 54 yr old Army to find something I didn't like. I was never into a boyband or group or even solo fan of anyone and as the years passed I found the modern music we get today to be morally corrupt and not at all inspiring or even worse. So much to my surprise I came across these guys and now I couldn't imagine life without them! The fact that despite all their fame they are so down to earth, genuine and humble as well as real crackpots IRL made it impossible not to fall in love with them! So welcome to the rabbit hole, you're in for a real treat if you continue. And learn one lesson if I may say = NEVER believe what anyone tells you/or follow social trends without doing your homework. There's a lot of misinformation out there, and I'm not just talking about BTS. You could miss something really great because a hater etc had their own agenda, or wanted you to think in a certain way. Do your own research! 😊

why did i recommend BLACK SWAN? Because you went from Dynamite to MIC drop and you already saw 2 sides of BTS which are 1.Happy and positive vibes and 2.flexing and calling out haters, so i think it would be good to see and third side of BTS which is their self reflecting about themselves and scary feeling of losing passion for something you love.
After that i recommended UGH! and The Truth Untold or House of Cards so you can meet the two main lines of BTS's contribution and that are 1.RAP LINE and 2.VOCAL LINE .
