When this Yoongi things blow up for the first time my weverse pop up with notif from him. At first i dont understand what his really mean so i look for information bout it. That the last time i follow his news. I believe in him and ill wait the truth behind all this news and VOILA the real CCTV of his controversy is already leaked. Im happy he's fine,no one hurt.
Im not defend him TJ,drunk driving is a bad thing what ever u drive. Its could harm ur self and another person. But ik he's responsible man,he know what his doing. If he really drunk,he's not gonna drive by him self.
The Korean News and Knetz need to chill out and look for more information before they attack and judge someone. Its already alot of proof how human life lost because of that

Idol is one of their most symbolism-packed MVs *ever.* They stuffed it with things they've been criticised for like specific glasses, hairstyles, shirts, etc. as well as references like "Suga is too pale" > Snow White shirt, "Jin has ugly knees" > trousers with knees out, RM using funny filters during live streams, "You say we always use green screen? We'll show you green screen" and so on. Besides that they also used a lot of cultural references, like the tiger and the bunny in the moon for example, and the lyrics are pure *chef's kiss* genius when you really dive into them. This is one of only a handful of songs where the explanation video (by DKDKTV) is considered an absolute must. Like, it'll truly blow your mind! 🤯

Edit to add... 16:22 The choreography is actually inspired by traditional Korean dances and moves connected to specific Korean songs. You really need to watch the explanation video. The details are insane. 💜
Just wanted to add too that the choreography has South African dances as well like the Gwara-Gwara which they have acknowledged 💜

You're not missing anything with that Sia version of ON. ARMY tries to pretend it didn't happen it was so poor effort on her part.
Yeah. And I also feel like the Nicki Minaj rap is…just not good. Especially compared to how MeganTheeStallion absolutely KILLED on her rap on Butter Hotter Remix.
This live version of IDOL is one of my all-time favorite live performances.
@@robertenck2423 tbh i think nickis lyrics made sense in idol i just dont think her flow was that good for that song or they put her in the wrong place in the song cause features/collabs on songs that have a version without is supposed to take place of parts in the original like lauv in make it right for example (only tbh i feel like he got too much time in that collab) but like she probably needed to be put way before the bridge cause she felt like a extended bridge and thats why it doesnt feel as smooth. because we are used to jimin and jin then the final dancebreak and chorus again. but she was inbetween that.
but her lyrics matched the message they were sending it just leaned more on calling out the haters while bts leaned more on loving themselves but they still talked about the haters too and she still talked about how shes the best like she usually does which is a form of self love so i think her flow and where shes placed in the song effected it hitting for everyone. she did more her pop voice than her rap voice while still rapping. like the difference between joon in domodachi vs life goes on. if she didnt choose her starships, stupid h*e, era voice and went more with a chun li or barbie tingz type voice it may have been better especially since she says chun li in the start i thought wed get a flow like that from her or similar rap tone but she went more pop which makes sense as the west sees bts as pop but even this song can be pop but the way rapline rapped was not for a pop track but still flowed nicely its 5am idk if im making sense but hopefully you get what i mean a bit. if you listen to the songs i mentioned youll see what im talking about. its difficult to explain because she has so many hits that all are considered pop mainstream but some of her hits are pure hip hop where she rap raps vs pop raps. so like i used to religiously listen to her music the way i do with bts now and i can see why some wouldnt like her part and its not really about the lyrics or her but the placement and the voice she used. not as bad as sia tho. idk what sia was thinking with that nicki at least tried she just over tried imo she seemed to research a bit but not enough of the rap styles she prob researched the title tracks at the time idol was new so fake love and prior she probably looked at a few saw the rap line didnt go as hard in the songs she chose and then tried to fit the production on idol with that in mind cause "its a pop genre song" but really with the message she needed her

Japan has the most quiet fans. They are a very polite people. You should see this in America or south america, esp Brazil, OMG 90K people singing at top of lungs , it's goosebumps everytime.

Hi Teej, it’s late here. I had to see what you thought of the MV and one of the lives. I want to give a long explanation of the MV and why they purposely put in so much CG. I don’t want to get any information incorrect since it’s late, so I will say that they did use some more Korean vibes since, at the time, some people thought they were a bit too much Westernized and some said they used too much CG so it’s a little snap tot hose people. Someone can correct me. They put more emphasis on showing the many sides of themselves that they get stuck in and hence, the lyrics. As you may know, Jimin did get a cultural award for his fan dancing too. Some of the words and moves are traditional Korean, yet it still has a love and know yourself message that’s mixed with rap and vocals so well. The pictures behind were actual drawings by the members. I won’t get into the deeper meaning of all the CG. I’m glad you saw a live that shows them having fun and engaging with the crowd! I wasn’t bored with your talk. lol 😂 I do hope you get an official (not fake) ARMY bomb so when you get to go to a concert, you can sync it and enjoy! Yes, you probably will like Fire. It’s one of their older songs as well! Thanks so much for letting me watch and remember this just before I try to sleep. I’m trying to work or think/jot notes again for lyrics. I really like that you always watch a live when it's allowed. BTS shine live, I even prefer a lot of their songs on stage (an their stages are often impressive and amazing)
I really like this live EDM version cuz it's perfect for a stadium performance (even though the Japanese public is quieter by tradition.) Other versions emphasize more on visual folklore or traditional sound...but all are just pure fun, energy and talents.
Idol is a diss track done in a hype and playful way. Every frame has a signification (multiple explanation videos exist). BTS embrace every critics/hates and own them with a smirk.

You can watch the Idol mv over 100 times & still find things you missed. It's one of my favorites! Can't wait for you to watch Fire too! I'm going to show my age here, but, here we go: my first concert was Foreigner & Billy Squire, 1981, I was 14. But, my second was AC/DC (For Those About to Rock tour) & it was everything you thought it would be! Anyways, loved this one!!! 💜💜💜

@@TEEJ-9 His first real hit was 'Stroke Me' & there's an mv for it. But, he basically ruined his career with the mv for 'Rock Me Tonight'. I think it was because the mv featured only him & he was dancing around a room. And, of course, young white boys did not like that. At least that's what I got from watching some kind of 'what happened to Billy Squier' thing. FYI: He's the one that got us all wearing parachute pants back then, lol. Love those pants! I got stories galore for 1981-1989 going to concerts. Wish I could sit & tell you all about it 💜💜💜
As i like a lot your reaction, i'm glad to ear that you only find 3 or 4 BTS 's songs as a group because that mean I will have still a lot of joy watching you discover the incredible discography of the group. Usually, people are listening a lot of BTS all together before exploring the solo sides of each one and it's fine, but I'm curious about your way and your perception in this way. Ahhh Idol!! Love Idol!! Especially love Idol live!! There are certain songs that really hit hard live, Idol is one of those songs!! I love this song, thank you for reacting to it. That's a South African House beat and dance step at the end. Pretty neat how they fold it into the Korean traditional instruments, yes? This live version is great, but check out the 2018 MMA award show with the folk dancers for a totally different style.

It is a clap back and a big ' F You' to their haters. The song, embodies the philosophy, of how BTS should treat their Idol way of life and live true, to their art and performances, always true and genuine to self with an authentic voice. The various symbolisms and kaleidoscope of their true self, their art and culture, is richly represented throughout the MV, in the visuals, clothes, lyrics dance and music. The often missed component about this song Idol, is the unique musical instrumentation. It is a genius, multi cultural way of, blending and incorporating the EDM, Afro Rhythmic Beats and Traditional Korean Rhythms as well as, the Traditional Korean Folk Bass Drums and Percussion Instruments. Layered on all of this, is the 'Gakgung' which is a Korean Horn, paired beautifully with the Saxophones. This depth of thought and level of genius, is why I Love BTS and say they are their own genre, transcending beyond just KPop. Idol is why, I once again say, that BTS, is a thinking man's band😊 it should have long ago deserved a Grammy. There are other great videos of Live performances of Idol in the Mama and MMA awards shows, please catch them, they are absolutely captivating! It would be nice, if you stream those shows for us to watch with you. 💜💜💜

basically the history is that they were getting shit on for becoming too westernized so they created a song with korean folk music elements and korean instruments, wearing korean clothing dancing korean dances in a korean historical builidng with a shit ton of other korean elements in the mv LOOL
they were also getting hated on for ,,using too much cgi,, when literally most of their mvs has real props, real fire water and stuff like that so thats funny but yeah they decided to just make a whole ass mv with cgi
