- About a month ago I introduced this 2017 Ford Raptor project. After many hours of hard work and late nights, I finished the installation. Just to be clear, the entire project didn't take 30 days... simply the customer needed to take the vehicle out of state and wanted to protect the FULL FRONT which was done all in one day at the end of December. The rest of the project was completed in 3 consecutive days last week.

Xpel Ultimate is a 8 mil polyurethane film which protects your truck from the aggressive environments found in off-road areas. This includes sand, dirt, mud, and small debris which chip off and scratch bare paint. "XPEL warrants XPEL ULTIMATE™ / STEALTH™ Paint Protection Film to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating," according to the Xpel website.

I have a 2018 Raptor and I live in NJ. How much would it cost me and do you know of anyone in this area that you could recommend? Also, is this better than clear coat? Does it shine just as good or better than the factory paint job? Can you remove it if you don't like it? Thanks and it looks great!!!!

How much would you guys charge for the front half (hood, bumper, front fenders, and rocker panels) on a 2017 Camaro ZL1?
Way better than the spray coating, looks great. I have the spray coating on mine, but I may have to consider doing this at some point. I'm definitely saving this video to come back to later. My Raptor is also black so I'm sure that the swirling will come when the coating begins to wear off. Thanks for sharing this information, much appreciated.

Clear wrap on black truck will it shows scratches and bug spattered ? What about buff ,wax, and sealant and will the clear wrap get fade overtime ? By the way job! Love the truck tho

Are any Raptor owners actually going to take these off-road...these vehicles are more like exotic rides...I know they have the engineering...but?
Ricky G working on a blue one as we speak for off-road city use purposes. Many will go all out on the Off-road scene while others just for a quick cruise away from highway. Either way, different type of ppl out there... you never know.

Hey Bemaro do you have 3m Scotchgard Paint Protection Film Pro Series?
Tuan H I avoid using 3M Scotchgard pro due to adhesive and strength issues found in prior installations.
Very interesting video. But if someone strips with a key the door or if I take a rock, after the film will raise? you can remove the film if I change idea? and the paint under will be normal? sorry for my bad English thank you...good idea for off road
PS. CAN I WASH IT WITH PRESSURE WASHER?
Its self healing and it takes A LOT to mess it up. Yes you can pressure wash it.

The video showed you removing the Raptor badge from the tailgate, but the reveal showed it still in place. Did you replace the badge after wrapping the truck, or did mix up your video(s) on the reveal?

Excellent job! I just had my 2018 Lincoln Navigator wrapped completely andbthey did a beautiful job. It’s black so I am finding few dust particles under film here and there but nobody except me would even notice, but I do because I’m nuts over my Navi! Lol
