same, i have a 2015 limited and was considering trading for a full size but the more i research i do the more i think that the 2015 is the perfect mix of old school and new
@@4nowunknown Especially the Limited! Your interior is beautiful, I need that interior in mine. The Quality in the 2015 is definitely superior to now. I have a buddy with a 24/25 it’s not the same Tacoma like ours
I have a 1st gen and it’s time for a new truck and I def prefer the 2015 model over the new 2020 ones I love the way they look and plus a 4.0 is cool . Just sucks that they all go for 30k
Considering a 2015 Tacoma vs a 2018/19 Frontier. You spoke a bit about the frontier being kinda junk but I’ve heard they’re pretty reliable. Do you have experience with this. Should I get the Taco even though it’s already 9 years old?
Have you had any issues with the composite bed wearing on the metal mount underneath? My 2015 passenger side, forward most bed bolt has some play due to the wear underneath. Can't tighten it down because it sits on leveling posts. I've heard putting something made of rubber between the frame mount and the bed is the best way to fix it, but was wondering if you had any other solutions?
Hello, I'm robert and I have the same exact truck , I love it , but yours looks better with the wheel and tire package, not sure if there's a lift or not , but wondering if you'd be willing to mension what youv done with that . Thanks.
k prolly a stupid question but give me a break.. the 2015 comes as 4l v6? 2016 as 3.5l v6? or does it depend??justtalking automatic. im reading thats the case but then im looking at a 2015 tacoma for sale that says its a 3.5l v6. thx for helping a clueless girl out.. :)
2015 is the end of the 2nd gen Tacoma. 2016 is the first year of the 3rd gen. You are correct the 15 had the 4L and the 16 3.5L. There will not be a vice versa, has to be a mistake. Goodluck
The Hilux is a worse vehicle. Less safe. Rides like an ox cart; the suspension is terrible. Unstable, flips over like nothing. The interior and tech are cheap. The only thing it gets right is MPG, but even then you have to maintain an electronic diesel injection system and turbo which are extremely expensive
@@andali555 sounds like you describe pretty much every truck that we cannot get in the US. Jimny comes to mind.. the point of my wish isn't for a Daily, its for a cheap 4x4 that can be beat on.. in the sub $20K range

Beautiful truck. I want a 2015. How much did U pay if u don’t mind. Ballpark. Also did u buy from a dealer or private. I know they’re hard to find. Thx man

@garyboudreau2872 HI, I know it's been a long time since your post! I did extensive research on 2nd gen Tacomas before I bought mine. I read that the 2013, 2014 and 2015 were some of the most reliable years. I ended up getting a '14 with 68k miles on it. They're pricey for used but will last a long time if taken care of. Carmax is overpriced in my opinion; try to find a private seller and get it checked out by a reliable mechanic before purchasing. Hope you were able to buy the right one for yourself! I love mine 😊
I know it’s been 4 years since you’ve posted this but I have a 15 V6 SR5 and in 2024 I’m Soooo glad I’ve kept it. It’s a Beast

More like 25k, I still went with the tried and true 4.0, more reliable than 3rd gen and has a truck engine unlike the 3rd gen.
Hey thanks for the reply
I’m actually about to start my search and see if I can find one
That’s cool you found a good one for yourself !
Great video and Nice Taco Brotha. I have a 2017 Tacoma Sport and love it!! Keep the videos coming very well done 👍

Awesome vid but one question, I noticed a constant flickering on your center visual display panel, is that normal or a short of some kind?
That's the effect from the camera. Common when you film tvs, computed screens etc... something to do with the shutter speed.
Frame rate of the display is going in and out of sync with the shutter speed of the camera so it appears to flicker @david10006
Love it. Nice truck
