not feeling the silver...
Agree 💯. It looks unfinished to me…
Agree with you both, looks unpainted and unfinished.
Well I like it, everyone has an opinion.
@@DIRTROADCRED Absolutely, and that’s what it’s all about man!!!
I love Silver but the whole point is it's his Jeep he does what he wants with it.
This Jeep looked the best with just the lift, 40s and OEM fenders and bumpers.
Agreed, this is what happens when sponsors dictate a build.
Yeah, it looks very hacked up. But I am partial to a built/stock look so this isn’t catered to me.
Thank you for commenting, everyone likes a jeep build a certain way, I like it this way for my 392. Some folks don’t listen to the video as I stated all parts that go on Ryan’s and my jeep are parts we want to put on. There are no forced parts on either of our builds.
@@adambomb5000 I agree. I understand that everyone has their taste and this is America so do whatever you want with your vehicle. I think Jeep OEM design looks way better than anything aftermarket part out there with a very few exceptions. To me this build looks like a tons of parts put together just for the fun of it. At the end, I really like his videos because I can know what not to do and what parts look good. To me the best looking parts of this build is the front bumper, steering system, wheels and tires, lift and the belly protection.
@@hersonastacio same. I love the stock fenders. The 40s looked amazing with the other stock stuff. I won’t rag on a guy for building to a taste different than mine. I did like the flip down tail gate. If it was paint matched, I can see that looking sharp.
Your 392 looked so much better with all the OEM bits, but I certainly understand how RUclips works.
The ‘stock’ 392 was perfect !
Agreed, personally I wouldn’t mod it. Maybe a couple small things, but the Xtreme Recon package looks great as it is.
I’ve ruined another jeep.
I wish the fenders were color matched. It just looks off to me. Still love it overall, but the silver gets me. Love the channel!
Same here...the silver looks off to me. Color matched would be top.
Looking 👍 great allot born throughout jeep community
Plan is to have the top of fenders, body part of sliders, and tailgate paint matched, we are in PA and distinction is in Florida, lots of logistics and timing to get them done.
As long as you like it that’s all that matters. Congrats on getting this far with it and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks man, I love it, every build gets me excited and were happy to share it with you guys!
Only my opinion....Color Match the fenders. Black for the bumpers, sliders and inner liners.
He doesn’t want to actually spend any money come on now, free parts rofl don’t care how ugly it is apparently
Not only your opinion.
@@sugarray8212 Come on now, there's no reason to be mean, there's to much hate on the internet.....It's his Jeep and he can do what he wants with it.
@@sugarray8212 bro this dude bought a 392. Lifted it. 40’s. The amount of money he’s spent is crazy. If he didn’t want to spend money he wouldn’t be doing this.
Thanks for the comments, fortunately I get to pay and choose what color powder coat I got, and if I decide to change it I unbolt everything and drop it back off for a week, I’ve built and been a part of tons of builds and wanted to change it up, I’m sure if I would have paint matched the fenders I’d get crap that they won’t last on the trails, color is very subjective and personal, and I personally am happy
Do the fenders, liners sliders and bumpers black with the tailgate body color.
Good idea
Yall are, literally, the color match dudes. Whole series about color matching plastic parts in gold for Ryan’s 2 door for reference. Half door videos were an entire season of game of thrones epic level of finding color matching parts
Weird vibes!
Lol
Love all the Motobilt armor! Coming from someone who has all Motobilt armor until you run their products people don’t understand how amazing their quality of parts are. People’s eyes get big when they see the prices of my flares 😂😂
It’s crazy how nice it is though!
Love the look, not a huge fan of all the silver, but I know it's a work in progress and will look amazing in the end.
Fair enough!
The color on the 392 is great!!! Even if I don’t like the way some parts look on yours, as long as YOU like it, it doesn’t matter! I appreciate the hard work you put into making the build.
Only my opinion. I dig some of the silver, especially the bumpers and steps. I'd paint the tailgate and fenders to tame it down some but dig the build.
Thanks!!
It’s came a long way. Not sure why everyone is hating on the silver… you want a contrast in my opinion. It’s not like it’s a different shades or materials. It’s all consistent through throughout the JEEP.
I think the metal looks awesome with that blue! This thing is a BEAST!!!
Nice build. Don't understand all the disliked, it does look different than others Jeeps and I like the grey color. Nice to see options that can be bought from other retailers.
The only thing I dislike about the 392 is the price... but that's Jeep.
People will hate on anything anymore, thanks for the comment!
I think the 392 looked perfect with the lift, the 40's with the big 40 hanging off the back, mostly stock looking. Not that it doesn't look cool now, it does. But I also believe that it's your Jeep, you make it your own. I also understand why you guys modify your Jeeps like this, to give people ideas about what they can do to their own Jeeps.
Thanks for another great video and keep up the good work!
Have to modify them, it’s my hobby and passion!
@@DIRTROADCRED Agreed!
I still think the tailgate is the coolest thing. I probably wouldn’t do it to mine but would be super cool to have.
Thanks! I love it so far!
I can't wait for the flush-mount lights to be back in stock!
They are awesome!
Love how it all looks with the silver. Just paint the tailgate..
Coming soon!
Would you consider adding some more silver to the top of your vehicle? Maybe say a silver paint matched hard top or some sort of silver decal on the hood? At first I wasn't sure if I liked the silver but it grew on me. I'm glad you took a leap of faith and did your thing with modifications. Keep up the good work 😊
Man it turned out killer and the skid plate is super slick! Absolutely love the paint matched tail lights! The Baja S2’s in back are insanely bright as well!
Thanks Bobby! Appreciate all the help!
I think it looks cool, I like unique mods and I haven’t seen another 392 like that. Lots of work to get it where it is now. Good job guys.
Thank you very much!
Looking great! I really don’t mind the silver, I do think the tailgate should be color matched but other than that the silver isn’t that bad in my opinion. And the taillights look so good painted. I did a hydro blue set and painted the hexagon pattern black too and they looked great. Can’t wait to see this build continue!
Thanks Colton! I saw yours and they look great!
Should have color matched everything
Future plans!
Crazy idea, paint the fenders to match the seats, tailgate bikini, then rest black
Hey Matt I gotta say, even if a lot of people don’t like the silver, we all know they want the 392😉
Personally I think you guys have two of the best colors, my personal fav is snazzberry gladiator.
Thank you for taking us along! I’m sure filming it all would remove an aspect of fun after a while, but thank you. I always look forward to your next video. You guys do an awesome job
Lots of haters … I love it !! That’s when you know you’re making your mark ! See y’all in a few …
good luck getting this through PA inspection!........
Awesome job, Matt and Ryan! Can't wait to see it in TN!
Lovin all the things you did and the colors are great.....except the red seats, would be great to see those in grey
Love this build and I actually like the color combo. I know it’s a lot to ask but any chance you could do a video on how to take a Sahara and list what you need to upgrade to run 38’s or 40’s? I haven’t been able to find a single video that’s comprehensive. I know I could buy a rubicon but my jeep and I have been through a lot. I’d rather keep her and invest the money.
By a lot I mean, lost everything and ended up having to live in it for a few months until I got back on my feet. She was my home for the better part of a year so she’s basically family.
All you guys talking about the color yet no one suggested to just paint the whole thing hella yella. Let’s go full circle.
lol I love this comment
I mentioned in a previous video comment section that I like the silver, but maybe not so much now that it's all together. I think it needs to be paint-matched. I just bought a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon w/ Xtreme Recon Pkg. 6 days ago & I am starting to order parts/mods to do myself. Mine is in Sarge Green. I don't like the red trim the Rubicon automatically has, so I am going to be taking the OEM Rubicon decal, JEEP name plate & trail badge off & replacing them with bronze/gold trim & them match bronze/gold wheels. I think the Sarge Green w/ Bronze/Gold trim will look great. I plan on using Distinction Applied & do at least my dash in Sarge Green & the trim in thr bronze/gold. That's my plan. Now to work extra shifts for all my mods that I want to do.
Good comment, I swapped my sarge green rubicon decals for the 392 and it looked great
I love the Silver I think you should have done the tail lights in the silver and the front grill black accent change it to silver. Also the aluminum maybe you could do some glossy clear PPF on it might take it up a notch. Never seen that before. Or you could do some of that silver carbon PPF over the top on the aluminum. Keep up the great work. Looks awesome and who ever bought your old Jeep got one heck of a ride. I would've if I didn't buy mine recently.
Thanks for that!
🔥🔥🔥love this Jeep ! Tailights/tailgate and the color choices
Thanks a bunch!
Looks nice, motobuilt is solid. I have their armour installed as well.
Very nice!
I like your plan to paint the tops of the fenders and the tail gate. The tailgate was the only thing that bothered me truthfully.
How you keep your jeep so clean? Feel like that could make a decent video.
It’s ceramic coated and I wash it, I get lots of hate for maintaining my vehicle, but just like I maintain my house I take pride in the things I own!
@@DIRTROADCRED bah, ignore them, I enjoy getting my jeep dirty and I enjoy getting it clean. I find it therapeutic 😂
Like the before with 40s better than the after.
You wouldn’t say that if you heard it rubbing everywhere
Less jibber jabber more exhaust sounds, wheeling, or talk over wrenching or screencaps of onx and how you use it. 🤙
Yeah, the High Velocity Jeep was built. But this Jeep is #MOTOBILT !!!!
Those belly skids are flipping sweet! Two letters, y’all, “N” “V” !
YALL going to be at Jeep Jamboree Greenbriar in October?
Love it Luke, let’s check into that show!
Silver clashes with the color…just my opinion. I’d paint everything satin black.
I can appreciate the opinion, there’s a lot to decide with color and it’s probably the most personal choicd
Fantastic. It’s all about a unique build
Thank you!
Still waiting for the 1 ton axle reveal. That’s a lot of tire for those factory 44’s.
Lol
wow I really like this Jeep!! only question is can you get Pa inspection with the fenders and tires sticking out?? love it!! Great job Guys!!
It gets tricky, I have a couple solutions !
Thats the beauty of owning a Jeep, YOU get to do whatever YOU want with it. If it looks the way you like it, then perfect! Thats all that matters. Everyone has their preferences🤷♂
Thanks !!
Moab, Rubicon, Colorado trip soon ?
Hopefully Easter jeep!
Wish you would paint match or at least change the silver to black. It’s like a Frankenstein build
That takes time, it will be getting more color here soon.
Matt and Ryan great video! Matt your Jeep looks amazing
Thank you!
Everything needs to be color matched
Coming soon!
The 392 build is pretty sweet. Looking forward to seeing it and hope to talk with you guys at Smoky Mtn Jeep invasion in a few weeks.
Looking forward to it!
That thing is SICK!
Thank you!
Paint matched parts would look sick, not feeling the silver especially with the black soft top.
Paint match coming!
It looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!
I love everything so far the color of this gray modifications looks weird for me with this great blue color.. if that was all silver with body, it would be much better i think
Color coming soon!
Where did you find the corner guards ? That is underneath the tailgate, I love them! I checked motobilt but they don’t have them on their site
Hmmm that’s odd they should be on there!
you need an AWE switchpath exhaust to tuck those pipes under. I've smashed my tailpipes a few times.
Actually just got some pipes custom made, coming soon!
If it were me I would have color matched the fenders and tailgate, and put black powder coating on the bumper and armor. But your jeep is your jeep. If you like it, that's what matters.
Color match coming this winter
Nice but I’ll bet those wheel/tires weigh 200 pounds, so I wonder how you’re supposed to deal with a flat tire?
Takes about 145 lbs or so, like we said we have some plans for it
@@DIRTROADCRED Most of the off-roading I do I do by myself, so that is way more than I could handle, even getting it into the back of the Jeep, let alone onto a tire carrier. That is the huge downside to the big tire thing for me
The taillights are amazing, but! Price is crazy
They look sick painted!
Can the fender flares be ordered as paint matched? Or only after delivery? Great video!
They ship raw and then can be painted or powder coated how you’d like!
Would have been easier to swap out the engine in the high velocity yellow jeep.
Maybe, still costs close to 35k
Hi Matt and Ryan, just want to say really nice build. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words!
@@DIRTROADCRED no worries, great content. Awesome to see a great channel come from PA! 🚙
I really like how the motobilt tail lights work and the addtion of the S2 is fantastic. Just wish they made it so the safety features still worked. Only reason I am not getting a set.
It’s crazy hard to get the blind spot to work, Oracle says they do but most people say they are 50/50
@@DIRTROADCRED Yeah the tail light would have to stick out like the factory ones do in order for them to work properly which would defeat the purpose of the high clearance lights and is likely why the other brand doesn’t work half the time either.
Need to paint match all. Doesn’t look to nice seems more like a mall crawler. But overall if you see it as a Jeep it looks nicely build
Wow! I actually got wood. 😂
lol 😂
Beautiful build. Great vid.
Thanks 👍
Now it's time to finish that back end and call AWE for that Switchpath.
Got a little something done to it now, will update you guys soon!
@3:16 look at those rust on the bolt already?
How does it pass inspection with no fenders?
🤷♂️
How do I get my parent to agree to letting me modify the interior?? Dad thinks it’s a waste of money
Only 3 weeks to go🥳 GSMJI
Can’t wait!
Just keep it up fellas. Absolutely love it.
Thank you!
quick question can you swap the 24 head unit into the older jeep jl models?
Takes a lot of work!
I liked the before better, nothing like the OEM look on a 392
I’ve ruined another jeep
Lots of 2024s already corroding
Time to start my favorite drinking game…. Drink every time you say 392 …. Jk I’m jealous
Rip lol
@@DIRTROADCRED only 7 shots this time…. Love the channel keep up the great work!!!!
Awesome! Time to wheel it now!
That's the plan!
I like the silver on your jeep color. It gives a retro vibe. Keep up the great info videos.
Thanks!
Definitely looks like your build is unfinished and the parts you put on are in primer. Kudos to the big swing but it’s a miss in my OP
please do the interior
As long as you like that all that matters. Me not so much.
Looks SWEET!! Outstanding job, Matt & Ryan! ✌️
Thanks!!
Up next 1tons and 42”
lol actually thinking other waya
That thing is sexy
Thanks!😊
You gonna be in Pigeon Forge in 3 weeks?
Yes!
@@DIRTROADCRED See ya there!!!
Primer looks awful.
You’re right , good thing this is metallic silver.
@@DIRTROADCRED to bad it looks primer
Looks sweet. I love the tailgate.
Thanks 👍
Jeeps need 5 wheels.
Day 8 asking Jeep to bring back Mango Tango Pearl
Looks awesome!
Thanks!!
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ how they damage cars.
*jeeps
👍
To each his own but took a $100k vehicle and turned it into a circus clown car. It was bad enough that Jeep forced red interiors on 2024s but the addition of primer accents looks like you ran out of money to complete the job.
It’s not a clown car, it’s my jeep and I’m happy with it.
Nice job ruining that 392. You're not even a rock crawler.
Thanks Chris!
Mall crawler, sorry, not sorry.
You’ve got to make a better insult than that, we’ve heard that one.
Looks like shit now
Thanks for the kind words!
@@DIRTROADCRED still love ya guys !!!
What a waste :(
Next video please head off road so we can see this thing in action 😄
