Finally a detailed build. I am new player and searched what is a budget build that i can play and people in reddit said its viperstrike of mamba. I tried to find detailed video on that build but could not find it. Now after a week of gameplay this video got suggested to me. I am thankful for the video. But you should keep the names of videos more standard like viper strike of mamba build. Cause your video was not showing up when i tried to find it.
Hi just want to say I love your build guides your guides are the only ones that give me the information in a way that I feel like I understand how and why I'm playing a skill rather than just blindly following a guide looking forward to future poe2 vids
i suddenly felt like playing a poison build as my last character before PoE 2 and this video pops up.... thank you! i'm doing it on SSF and it's gonna be the perfect distraction!
i wish you did a detailed video about lightning strike like this. i basically just had to guess at all of the leveling skills and gear on my way to maps
I'm going to give this a try, feels bad getting to the end of a league (well, semi-end of league) and not having levelled a Pathfinder. I'll change up the early tree a bit, will start with Frost Blades which I prefer over Cobra Lash early and lets me start out with claws and I'll be taking the Poisonous Fangs wheel early on mostly to get Claw Mastery. 25 life / 25 mana on hit is insanely good early on and solves all your mana issues almost right through the campaign for a single point (though admittedly with Mamba mana it's less useful since you need less mana and don't hit that often, it'll get me to first lab at least). I think it's one of the most overlooked levelling masteries in the game. Since the Poisonous Fangs wheel works so well anyway with this build anyway it'd be a shame to miss it.
I tried my changes, they were a bad idea lol. Your way is better. I'd forgotten that having chance to poison on attacks means that whenever your whirling blades hits it can apply a crappy poison which effectively disables all your Mamba scaling. So lategame you probably want to add a brutality support to the whirling blades so you're not accidentally landing a crappy poison on mobs when you whirl through them.
Out of curiousity, why the preference for claws? Seems like using swords and giving you access to leap slam over whirling blades fixes the whole withering step not letting you have flame dash or some other form of gap crossing issue. Not that that's the biggest of deals, but if you can solve it why not?
definitely should use a unnatural instinct near the power/frenzy charge node on the upper side, one more point and 1 max frenzy charge and other benefits
I believe you can obtain it in every lab but since viper strike mamba is the only transfigured version of the skill i recomend buying many viper strikes from the vendor and running merc lab because there you have a chance of getting "Transform a Skill Gem to be a random Transfigured version" option at divine font

Yeah, Whirling Blades poison can be a little cringe!

Better passives/location in the tree, and the life/mana mastery from Claws actually does help a lot with sustain.

It won't work on the Frenzy Charge, but it's still decent tech.
Possible upgrades? In hindsight, would you prefer another version of it using a mb or something else?
Maybe but it hits the dot cap already and has poison proliferation as a Pathfinder. It could move faster if it had MB and was a Trickster
always wanted to try new build, but all build at this time are so giga expensive haha
