Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone 🥰
Merry Christmas Dasha
Merry Christmas Dasha have a good one 💕 x
счастливые праздники Даша
Thank you. Hope you have a merry Christmas. Also you're gonna love the second movie.
This time you laughed at your fullest. Looking so beautiful and pretty in red dress
I have never seen you giggle so much in a reaction as when the crooks were trying to get past Kevin's traps. That was hilarious and adorable.
I had to double check it wasn't just a giggle montage. lol
It's impossible to NOT laugh during those trap scenes. I've watched this movie and the second movie every December and I STILL laugh every time.
@@DanSolo0119 sames. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are such a perfect comedy duo it's amazing.
My adult cousin saw this with his wife when it first came out. He had a full blown asthma attack in the theater because he was laughing so hard 🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂 funny length
The storyline with the old man and his family always makes me cry. 🥺
It's so incredibly wholesome to write that in, took the edge of what would've been a mildly vulgar comedy that would've pushed the limits of what was acceptable fare for children for that time. Balances it out a bit. Thank you John Hughes, for your directorial choices.
😂F😅
If John Candy offered you a ride in a van, you can 1000% trust him. He was that great of a guy in real life.
The gun is a BB gun. Bb's are little steel balls about 4.3 mm in size. It is air powered. - Keyster is rear end or buttocks of a person. - I think Marvin was saying very chic but did not know how to pronounce chic. - He put aftershave lotion on his face. It is alcohol based and stings. -
keister
and yes, you did use flood correctly.
@Carlos Spicyweiner No. air soft has plastic bbs
@Carlos Spicyweiner I don’t recall if airsoft was a thing when this movie was made.
@Carlos Spicyweiner pretty sure the daisy bb rifle is still available.
When the spider is on Marv's face, the high pitch scream he makes always makes me laugh.
My grandmother watched this with me when I was a kid. She always laughed at people falling over, she couldn't help it, that was the funniest thing to her. She absolutely died watching this film she was laughing so much all the way through
7:03 "Oh-hoo. Marshmallows with ice cream? Okay. This was literally me when I first started to live alone."
Yeah. 😄 Me, too. I think _most_ people go through a little period of self-indulgence like this.
I'm living a life-long self-indulgence
We all do.
add beer to that and me too
@@schuettjoel ice cream AND beer? I have a vivid, bad memory of that 😂
@@cxbaob depends on the beer and the ice cream honestly. both a good idea and a very bad one
The tall burglar's screams get me every time. Especially with the spider! Great reaction! It was so fun to see your reaction to this movie.
Just so you know, that scream was real, I mean unscripted and such. Done in one take!
Daniel Stern is actually arachnophobic in real life
They said in a behind the scenes video, when he had the spider on his face, that they recorded the scream after the scene was done. That he didn’t actually scream when they filmed the scene because they didn’t wanna scare the spider.
The difference between watching Home Alone as a child and watching it as an adult is most prevalent when you're watching him set up the sled at the top of the stairs. As a kid, you're like "That looks so fun! I wanna try!!!" And then your parents have to stop you. As an adult, you see that and all you can feel is concern.
(I don't actually mean this. It's not when it's MOST prevalent. But it's definitely up there)
When this was released, my oldest son was the same age as "Kevin" As a matter of fact, he could have been his twin. Years of hearing the antics from this movie are a great memories.
The movie within the movie that Kevin is watching is called "Angels with Filthy Souls," and it doesn't actually exist. They filmed that for this movie. I only know this because I've tried finding that movie to watch it, too. There is, however, a real movie called "Angels with Dirty Faces," (1938) starring James Cagney.
Oh ok thanks, I'm just back from looking it up too, lol.
Well, that was a brilliant reaction from Home Alone by Dasha. Her reaction and the movie had me in stitches. A perfect start to the Christmas festivities! So, well done to her! :) Just want to say, have a fabulous Christmas, guys. And to Dasha....keep them coming! :)
her laugh is infectious , love her reactions
One of my all time favorite childhood movies. I used to have it on tape and would watch it all the time when I was a kid. Also as a little kid I used to call Kevin “Home Alone”, that was his name for me for the longest time 😆
Woke up kind of grumpy today, but I can't be an asshole after watching this one. Great reaction Dasha. Keep it up
The Santa Clause with Tim Allen is another good holiday movie to add to your list. Your reactions are great, by the way.
Oh great recommendation! The whole series of movies is great. I would also recommend A Christmas Story, a true classic
I think that's the most laughing I've seen you do in a reaction video so far! It's a classic! Part 2 was good, too! Happy Holidays Dasha!
I loved your reaction with the burglars and the traps. Reminds me how most people reacted to this when it was released in 1990. This was a very popular movie where it was hard to get a ticket to see it in theaters for months. My dad finally was able to get me and my brother to a Sunday night showing at that time. You have to react to Home Alone 2. The traps are more clever and more dangerous, but still funny.
Last night my uncle came home to find money on the floor leading up to the kids' bedroom. My cousins who are 4 and 5 planned to lure any burglar to their room so they could beat him up. I thought about Home Alone when i heard the story,
Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are watched every Christmas in my family.
19:46 embarrassment and awkward conversation were the legendary John Candy's specialties. R.I.P
I’m ashamed it took me a year to find you. Your spirit is amazing, and I’m in love! You make every viewer smile with your personality, and it helps that you are so easy on the eyes.
Absolutely!
Loved your reaction Dasha and this is definitely a Christmas classic. It would be great if you could watch Home Alone 2 as well. I think it's just as good, if not even better than the original
Home Alone 2 isn't even in the same stratosphere as the original
But you can stop after the second; it's all downhill from there
It's a really good sequel but not as good as the original.
It`s very rare that a sequel is better the 1st movie Home Alone 2 is in the Terminator 2 and Ghostbusters Afterlife list for sure....
The Good Son! same kid actor. great charismas movie for the whole family
This movie and Home Alone 2 are both classics and my favorite Christmas movies
The best I've been able to deduce it that "Mom" is a fashion designer and "Dad" in an investor, thus the money and the mannequins. OH! Mannequin (1987.) A ridiculous 80's romantic comedy. Must reaction.
Marv's SCREAM 😱 gets me every time 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dasha: "Is it a horror movie?"
Everybody Else: "Yes! And the psychotic killer is a little boy!!!"
The Good Son! same kid actor
si para defender mi casa tengo que ser un asesino psicotico entonces lo sere.
It's a horror movie for the burglars, that's for sure.
Your reactions just never get old (especially the pizza delivery scene)!
I’m surprised to hear this is a popular film in Russia 🇷🇺! 😄
Merry Christmas Dasha! If you haven't already watched it I highly recommend reacting to "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946)
I was 10 when this came out and quickly became one of my favorite Xmas movies.
Also, that is a BEAUTIFUL dress, Dasha.
1:55
Yeah. When I was little, my mom commented that her younger brother's bedroom was a black hole, whatever goes in doesn't come out. I took it literally and didn't go in for years. I noticed that my mom and her brother go in and out, so I started wondering if it was true and decided to chance it. Came out fine.
Thank you, Dasha. Seeing this again through your eyes brings back the intensity of seeing it for the first time.
There is a doctor who reviewed all the injuries of this movie on RUclips. Its a good watch but the end result was needless to say long term painful and likely fatal for a good number of these... Definitely one of the all time great holiday movies.
There's been more than one doctor to do that, so which one were you thinking of?
@@pearlofthedarkage I guess any of them would do, but the one I was thinking of I cant find at the moment (I think it was the ER trauma guy). Funny though there are a good 5-7 of them.
Would be fun to see a breakdown of the stunts in this movie, by stuntmen. Like how they did the stepping on the christmas ornaments stunt.
"Angels with Even Filthier Souls" is what Kevin was watching. It's a fake classic movie created for the film. "Keister" is a very old timey way of saying ass. Hope you and everyone else here has a very Merry Christmas.
Just to add in a detail. The cop after knocking on the door several times reports on the radio that there was no one home, and the house was secure.
Um officer...... when Kevin went back inside screaming, he did not lock the door!
It's worth watching this movie just for the scream when he puts the tarantula on Marv's face.
This movie has some of the best physical comedy of any movie of the past 30 years. Especially from Pesci.
My cat got so scared by the scream in the intro 😹🤣😻
30:32 🥰 I would dare to say _this_ scene is just about the most _beautiful_ in the movie. A man hugging his _granddaughter._ I mean _wow._
Chris Columbus, the director of this, also directed the first two Harry Potter films.
I love how your eyes light up when something funny happens.
Saw a meme the other day stating there is no way Kevin didn't grow up to be Jigsaw!
Merry Christmas Dasha - your reactions are just great!
This one is my family's go to favorite that we every year on Christmas Eve
It is a hilarious timeless classic -
and watching you react to these scenes that we've all seen many many times
Is like watching it fresh and new again for the first time!
Great job!
Happy holidays!
That was great. You should definitely check out Home Alone 2: Lost in New York as well, one of the few comedy sequels that's just as good, better in my opinion, as the first.
Hi Dasha!! I just would like to say that I absolutely LOVE every single one of your reactions. You’re so kind, smart, funny, and beautiful😊😊keep doing what you’re doing and never stop being who you are!❤️
In the basement is the furnace. Can imagine a young kid fearing that
I think this was your best reaction EVER, never seen you laugh so much, that was just worth every minute of it. Merry Christmas and I hope you always stay just that happy and filled with joy.
Her giggles are so cute, I can’t stand it. 100% adorable!
I'm half Polish and in Poland, Home Alone is the most popular Christmas movie!
Oh my gosh! I loved this reaction so much! I'm an American who saw this movie as a youngster. I think I was only 5 or 6 years old when I first watched this. Watching your reaction brought back so many feelings that I had when I was younger and watching this. :)
I hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday! Merry Christmas! :D
Thank you Dasha for this reaction video. I really enjoyed watching you enjoy it as much as I did when I first saw it. It is a warm hearted movie with many very funny parts. I particularly love the scream of the burglar when Kevin put the spider on his face. 🤣
Happy Holidays Dasha!!!
FANTASTIC, FUN reaction Dasha, I don't think that I've seen you laugh so much in any of your other reactions!!!😆👍🤩💖👍🤩💖👍🤩💖👍🤩💖👍🤩💖👍🤩💖
The polka guy from the airport is John Candy, one of the funniest actors that ever lived. He is in another movie with the kid from this movie. It's called Uncle Buck and it's a classic.
Merry Christmas Dasha and to those you love. I enjoyed your reactions this year and I'm looking forward to the new ones in the coming year. 🎄☃️
Home Alone 2 is a good one as well, I like and enjoy it just as much as the first but i would not bother with the others after 2. Merry Christmas 🎄
3rd one is just as awesome as 1 and 2.
@@k85 No, I have to disagree.
The Good Son! same kid actor. great charismas movie for the whole family
Absolutely love it! And merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas to you Dasha. It's so nice to see you watch all these classic movies that I grew up with. You're reactions are adorable.
Great reaction as usual! Have a wonderful Christmas!
You may have already guessed, but Angels with Filthy Souls is a movie within the movie. You can also tell they had fun with it.
"oh this looks painful" "oooh now I want to try that!" lol
1:18 She's speaking French. "Les incompetents" means "the incompetent ones," or "the people who will always fail."
I love when you say “such a loser” 🤣
MERRY CHRISTMAS, cute Dasha !!!
You did great, this was your cutest reaction so far, thanks. My absolute favorite part of this movie is the talk at church between the kid and his neighbor - I saw you were absorbed by that talk too, without saying anything until it was over. Your heart is obviously Russian. Maybe these days you’ll watch part 2 (of “Home Alone” and also do not forget about “Die Hard”). You’re doing great. Salutations and the warmest Christmas wishes from Romania !!!
Important lesson is this movie. The kid can only live as long as he figures out how easy it is when you have money. After the ice cream runs out or the detergent is gone them you realize that you need to work to survive. Great lesson
That tarantula actually freaked out jeff Daniel's in real life he didn't expect it.
So glad that Dasha enjoyed this movie. It's a childhood favorite.
This is one of the most satisfying movies of all time. There's never a dull moment and works on all levels.
I absolutely find joy watching your reactions. You have such an infectious smile and manner. It's a privilege watching things with you.
Thank you.
The "horror " scene in this film, was really Kevin in the basement. He had thought the furnace was a monster.
A keyster is a butt, a crisis is an emergency . Happy Holidays.
Some kids played that recording when I was delivering pizza long ago and tried to scare me. True story!!
I loved watching you laugh as each trap got the robbers, it was like seeing again for the first time
Home Alone is one of my favorite Christmas movies!! You gotta watch Home Alone 2 this Christmas it’s an amazing sequel!!!
This movie is told from Kevin's perspective, so his family weren't necessarily that mean to him, or even said those things literally , but that's how Kevin interpreted them. Like when he went downstairs and the furnace showed signs of life.
The mother was in Ferris Bueller,s day off.
11:16 he put on aftershave, which would sting if you had any cuts on your face after shaving
You have the most wonderful laugh :) Merry Christmas, Dasha!
love the reaction Dasha, Merry Christmas! 🎄
27:37 That scream is GREAT. 😂
That guy was in another movie I liked. Can't remember the name. But he pretended to be a Boy Scout leader and take the kids up a mountain called Pikes Peak. I haven't seen that movie in years.
He also played in another great movie that I can't remember the name to. He was the oldest of 3 brothers, and they were on the road, bringing home a classic car for their dad's request.
Always nice to see you laughing, Dasha. Keep up the good work Dasha.
I love how you say "Grrrrrrinch".
You were Dynamite Dasha! Loved your reaction, Merry Christmas Beautiful!💖🌹🎄☃️❄️
John Candy is never suspicious.. Unless it involves missing food. He was a legendary comedic actor!
Great choice of Christmas movie to react to. and great reaction!
I really enjoy the excitement in your reactions. Have a Merry Christmas.
Finding your channel was a great early Christmas present. I enjoy your happy reactions the most. Hope your new year is starting out well. :)
Kevin has a BB gun, which fires little metal balls instead of bullets. They aren't fatal (except to small animals) but they can cause injuries.
"Keester" is an old time expression for a rear end. People say that when they want to be even less vulgar than saying "butt".
The polka player his mom met is played by John Candy, who was a very famous comedic actor. Sadly, this was one of his last movies.
John Candy made a few more after this. Canadian Bacon and Wagons East among them.
Wait what?! That was John Candy at the airport that offered to drive her! I've seen movie a million times and I missed it
Loved your reactions to this :)
It was one of my favorite movies growing up, I watched it so many times.
Can't wait to see you react to Home Alone 2
Merry Christmas, Dasha!!!🤩
you're so genuine, I love your reactions. keep up the good work
I grew up watching Home Alone 1, 2 and 3… I would definitely recommend watching the other two Home Alone’s… you won’t be disappointed.
Merry Christmas Dasha
I remember watching that as a kid. I loved that house. I knew a rich kid who had a house like that. The kid had a Nintendo in his Chevy Suburban. Had duplicates of all the video games...blew my mind. So when I watch the film it reminds me of my rich friend long ago. haha I never felt bad for Kevin. Now as an adult it's a different film and I connect more with the adults and Kevin's plight. Gotta love John Hughes films! You gotta see Uncle Buck now!
The guys: More and more pain.. Dasha: laughing louder and louder..
I think finally we saw a little evil side of her 😃😉
An old family friend of mine was the special effects supervisor for this movie, and he kept a lot of the props that he built for it. So I got to hold the bicycle handlebars that Kevin uses to zip line from his house to his tree house. He (Bill Purcell) passed away years ago, but he actually had a small part in the movie. He was the cop who chased Kevin across the frozen pond after accidentally stealing the toothbrush. He actually fell and shattered his knee on the ice, but couldn't leave to go to the hospital until they got the shot...which took hours.
Being around russians they are always so serious so seeing her laugh just makes my day
Glad you enjoyed this classic movie
Have a wonderful Christmas and a great new year. Thank you for taking the time to upload.
It didn't occur to me for the longest time that Kevin got the whole house back in order....except for Buzz's room!?
Merry Christmas. Love your reactions 😎👍🏼
Iconic movie ... iconic reaction ☺ ... Merry Christmas Dasha, have a great one 🎄🎅
Hello Dasha, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This is such a fun movie.
How time flies. Macaulay Culkin, who played Kevin, is now 41 years old.
Merry Christmas Dasha. I really enjoyed your reaction. I hope you have a Happy New Year.
