Post a video showing how you do it, it would be very helpful.

Fake news. Broward and Actually state wide in Florida is 14 feet. Measured from the horn stretched tight to the lead at the bottom.

Barracuda nets are garbage. Retrieve tether is way too thick and it hockles up like crazy. Round weights can get through mesh. Too many brails to get tangled and not necessary to close net. Worst of all, the mesh disintegrated after a year - can pull it apart with fingers.

What net brand would you recommend then?

@@CaptRyaNN I've used nets for sixty years and never had one disintegrate on me. I've used Betts and some that I never knew the brand. But, the best nets I've ever used are Tim Wade's custom built. Tim brought an engineering mentality to cast net construction and got it right in the important functional details. His prices are more than the cheapies, but less than the bogus, mass-produced, highly-marketed nets. Be wary of the so-called "reviews" - they are often unreliable and paid-for by the manufacturers

@@bobbeckstead8340 thank you for the information. I’ve been looking to upgrade my small 7’ to a 10’ so I’ll definitely look into a Tim Wade net.

@@CaptRyaNN You won't regret it. He's a super nice guy to deal with. He is behind about 3 - 4 weeks right now.
