remelsheikh I totally understand about married and busy with work! I’m that and work shift work! Every chance I get I’m off to the coast though! I have a Tim Wade net that has some small holes in it and was wondering if you knew someone I could ship it to for repairs before it gets worse?Thanks man!
@@patrickonasis1 Im sure Tim Wade will do the repairs himself if you send it to him. If not, look up some videos on youtube and do it yourself. Small holes can be patched easily within minutes.
I have thrown many nets from 6 ft to 12 ft. My favorite is the 10 ft. Check your local regs to see what the largest net allowed for your area is. Also 1.6 lb/ft is a heavy net. Yes it sinks faster and catches more bait, but it will fatigue you alot faster. I throw the morada 10 ft net and after 5 or 6 throws I have to rest my shoulder a bit, but I usually have the bait I need before then.
I’ve thrown both and the betts doesn’t open all the way. When spread there is a foot of net by the horn that doesn’t open when you throw it which will leads to less bait per throw. The Morada is competing with Custom Series not the Pro Series as they both have 1.6lbs per ft. You can also customize any series net with color that they offer not just the Custom Series nets.
You seem quite impressed with the Calusa. Would love to hear your personal preference if someone was gifting you a net would the Calusa be your top choice and what would be your close second?
All of that was very informative but I have a concern with how fast the net sinks. The Betts is heavier but if the barracuda can still catch fast swimming sardines then that would be something to consider. Also on the last review you shared prices but I didn't get that with this one. I think You like the caloosa
How do you think the betts super pro compares to the morada? In your previous video you covered the super pro in less detail than the others but really wonder if you are getting more for your money with the morado or are you primarily paying for a warranty. Thx

Incorrect. You can get the morada in 1.3LB’s per foot or 1.6Lb per foot

I researched the barracuda. I was amazed at the warranty, but it does not apply to their mullet nets. I was a little disappointed about that

Thats correct, they offer the 1.6lb in there custom series of nets.

My expensive Barracuda net disintegrated after a year.
Tried to order a 10' x 1/4" and a 12'x 1/4 but it said they were unavailable!!!
