Outstanding videos! Many years of cast net frustration with tacos, tangles and taboo language! Im 61 and I just threw three consistent pancakes in the front yard with the triple load. So happy right now! Cant wait to get to the mullet run going now in North Carolina! Thank you so much! Ken

Hello Capitan Mike, my father in Puerto Rico, us too fish whit his own hand made nets or like we call it, Tarraya, I always love to fish too, but he never teaches me how to throw, well, years pass, I’m 51 now and lives in Connecticut, I have a jet sky and last week I just got a 2001, 19’ sea ray 180 boat!!! I’m ready for the water this summer, and, I found your 2 tutorial videos, and honestly, I get a 8’ net, my neighbor said that I’m crazy!! But I became a pro!!! That pancake is completely open!!! Toke me one week practicing for one hour a day!!! Now I’m teaching my best friend, he also has a boat, and loves this system to learn, thank you so much for be a good teacher, I’m never going to be better than my father, but now I can said that I learn how to throw fishing net!!! Thank you so much Captain Mike!!!👍

    Hi Captain Mike,
First, many thanks for sharing all your knowledge in recent videos on throwing a cast net. I do mostly inshore fishing and have watched your videos with great interest. I would rate them a number 10 !!!!!!!
I have never thrown a cast but you really make it look easy.
I am 73, live in the Tampa Bay Area, I am about 5'5 and have a couple of caps on my front teeth that I don't want to loose so putting the net in my mouth is not an option for me. You are the first I have seen that shows many options and also shows throwing different sized cast nets.
You are the Man !!!!!! I really enjoy your videos.
    John

You're a good guy mike, most fisherman are very secretive about techniques and you seem very genuine about teaching to others. These videos have been super helpful for myself and others I have shown them to. Keep up the great work.

Mike, a 6-meter-diameter net was recently sent from China. In the spring, I will learn to throw your videos. Now we have ice. Thank you very much for the lessons. It is really accessible, and the main thing is not to take the network in the teeth, which is not very desirable. Thank you, good Luck watching your videos. Alexey - Russia-Tver.

HI there again from NZ. Absolutely love the number plate! I commented on another video of yours. You are a natural teacher. After watching your casting seminar (yesterday) for the one handed method I now could see how easy it is to learn. I ordered a 2.4m/8ft casting net today. I will practice the one handed method first with this net and then try the 3 part EZ method next from this video. Thanks once again for making the time to shoot these very helpful videos.

Hey Capt Mike, love the channel. Easily the most informative, helpful channel for south Florida anglers. I have a question for you: is there some type of website you recommend for reading up on fishing reports before heading offshore? For those of us who don’t know a lot of other fisherman, it would be extremely helpful to have a news source so we can know what to target before heading offshore.

Hey Capt. Maybe you’ve spoke about in another video. But I’m wanting to learn how to find live bait from shore.

Gr8 video Mike! Still don't have it yet but the throws are improving! The pinky hold in the end is key! Hold it a second to long and I can throw a perfect banana straight in front of me, and not enough, perfect banana! The net I'm attempting to get right is a 12, after a few tries that thing gets pretty heavy. You sent a note with your email I opened it and when I went back to it it was gone, a RUclips thing.
