Thanks for watching guys! Really loving doing this and if I get 200 likes I will do a drawing for a brand new 10ft custom cast net. The same one in the video!!!
This is one awesome opportunity that you have given us and I hope to win because I just don't see how this video couldn't get 2,000 likes. I personally hope to one day have the opportunity to come down and fish with both you and Mike.
That was nice of you to give that guy some shrimp. I saw him throw that little net and not let it sink in the background. I was thinking "that guy needs to watch this video.." Keep up the good work.
Of all the fishing shows, I think yours is on top for putting out this teaching content. Keep it up, it really helps those who are struggling with something or bringing in new guys, or gals, to try something new.
Ok so it's a broom too? Who knew! And I'm #204!! WOW! Put me in the drawing... I'd LOVE to have a Shumaker net! May need to come down and help out with that fish problem you have there sometime. Need to stuff my freezer up! Maybe get some mullet bagged up for SC inshore!
We I was much younger, my dad bought me a net so I could catch some shrimp.....for him while piloted the boat! I remember casting until my arms felt like falling off, but it was fun. Miss those days. Love your video. Mike D sent your channel.
I lost my favorite 10 ft net at the inlet a few weeks ago casting on pogies😭 damn loop came off my wrist and she gone! I almost like catching bait more than fishing if ya can believe that💪 keep living your best life.
l actually dreamt last night l was learning how to throw a net, even tho we can't legally use them hear l still love watching you shimping and teaching , tight lines man.
Great job on the video! I’m going to be purchasing my first shrimp net in the off season. You said that was a “catch all” net, is that a 3/8 mesh? Are your bigger nets 5/8? I’m having trouble finding which mesh size is best for shrimp. Thanks and keep the videos coming! I’m sure you’ll be giving your dad’s net away soon.
Thanks from Down Under Mate, really enjoyed that, very down to earth. Nice to see a professional showing different styles, certainly going to up my game with that knowledge. I wish Australia was part of your give away because that looks like a very nice net, far better than what we have on offer. Liked and Subbed now I have your whole back catalogue of videos to watch, cheers mate.
Much appreciated! Welcome! The net giveaway will be for everyone. BUT! I have been trying to get hats to another Australian subscriber and I think customs is not cooperating. I will figure it out though for sure. Thanks for subscribing and tight lines!!
Give it a shot. Main think when you throw open your arms all the way out and it will open all the way! Tight lines! And let me know how it works for you!

Thanks! Yeah we have all been there and I really am over eating shrimp. He was a really cool dude too. Appreciate the support on the channel!
Keep teaching us (non professionals greenhorns!) The castnet process is intimidating and now I am encouraged to give it a try for bait!

Yes!!! Get out there and try it! It’s pretty easy once you get it. Thanks for watching!!

I have had that happen myself! I will be back to fishing videos after this giveaway! Thanks for watching!
When I was a kid I lost one on the rocks at Sebastian 😂. Tough lesson
@@squishypush6032 yeah that’s a definite learning experience when your young. Education is expensive they say right. Lol
@@squishypush6032 I've lost a few by now. Sometimes bait gets scarce and you throw into things you know you shouldn't 😉
Great little informative video, keep up the good work, stay safe.
Thanks man!
That is one net I could put to work. Thanks for the advice.

Yes I think his net was 1/2 inch stretch mesh. And my nets are 5/8 inch stretch mesh. Thanks for compliment! Really appreciate it!

Great video for learning 👍👍
Where I can buy one that castnet or similar ?
Locally here it’s called Shoemaker nets but he is swamped during season. Set your alarm for February and get it for next season
Done
👍
I like throwing 10 foot nets just so I can get a 4 foot circle 😎
We all do it sometimes! But for some reason I do good on those casts too! Sometimes better!
Hey I’m new to shrimping but lookin to get into it. Where did you get that net?
Nvm, video answered that question. Great video love it. I’ll following along your journey. Love to see a fishing RUclipsr.
Awesome! Yeah I get my nets from a local net builder. He has been building my nets for over 20 years! They are awesome!
Would love this net Done.
👍
Good info video. Gonna try your way. Mine's not pancaking.
Give it a shot. Main think when you throw open your arms all the way out and it will open all the way! Tight lines! And let me know how it works for you!
Give me that net bruh! You know I gotta have that shellfish!!
LOL! Thats right!
Hello my friend how or where can I find a net for shrimping thanks
It's in the description of all of the shrimping videos
Showing what you’re looking for on the fish finder screen would be very helpful. Thanks
Yeah I have shown that on some of my previous videos, but prob not in depth. Maybe I will go in depth on it. Thanks for comment!
I throw the net the 2nd way hard habit to break putting the lead in my mouth over 40 year's.
Totally get it! Everybody has their own ways! I used to throw like that too. Tried and true!
Just 70 more likes! :)
Thats right!! Almost there!
I would like to participate in the net giveaway.
Sorry it happened a while ago. I will have another giveaway here soon when I hit 10k subscribers!
A 10ft net wears me out. How many lb per foot is it?
Think its like a 1 lb per ft but really not sure. Throwing doesn't tire me as much as pulling it up. But this net is light compared to my 14ft.
That one flip over the shoulder and divide the net in two... best way (also the tri-load) to not wear yourself out.
@@garycotz563 yep that’s right!
how do you find the shrimp thank you
We start checking in July and we mark them on the bottom machine.
