I'm 60, white, widowed 7 years.
After a couple years I started considering getting back into the world and looking around again.
I quickly realized that women had changed over the twenty years I was off the market.

I’m definitely in protection mode because of MeToo. I always been skeptical about what most of them do. Being pursuing women, for the most part has never worked out in my favor because of the shady and condescending shit they do. What is sickening is that there has never been any accountability for these women's wrongdoings. Let's keep it real, they distance themselves from all of their culpability so they can maintain their plausible deniability. At best, i get ghosted by most of these women when i tried texting or calling them, or at worst they go behind my back spreading false gossip and accusations about me, but yet when they claim they felt i made them "uncomfortable", they never brought it to my attention explaining how and why. but more than half of them would put a front right to my face being like "hii Michael how's it going sweetie!!?" I become numb and desensitized to any woman who would address me with those nicknames they give me it means nothing in actuality, especially if she uses that nickname when addressing other men like that as well.
