  • In this video I have a quick run through of the "QWERTY" keyboard that are the controls of the NT1100. Some folk think there are too many buttons but I give my reasons why I think Honda has got it right for this tour bike.

Hiya, Showing the 2 smaller screens as well was a touch of genius and works so well, Where did you get that idea from ? coz Ive never seen anyone else do that before but it is a great idea, well done you. It all looks complicated but you've made it seem so intuitive and simple, I did see a couple of carryovers from the NC. Thanks for the video mate it's a good one well done.

Meant to say, I have watched a lot of videos where folk try to showcase controls and most of the time you have no idea what they doing and the effect on the screen. In a previous life, I got a couple of lovely lasses to do instructional videos on some productivity software (not the Microsoft Word etc) as it was far simpler to show folk how to do it than try write it down. I like the simple approach 👍

I spent about 90% of my working life making a living out of technology so this stuff is not so bad for me and find the whole thing very intuitive, but then you would hope I did haha. I would change a few things if I were to do something similar but every time is a learning process. I am playing around with a couple of different videos that shows the complete forward view from a camera mounted on the nose of the bike and blend in a view from another camera of the dashboard. I kind of like it and may just stick it out there for folk to comment on. The software available to us amateurs is so powerful that we barely scratch the surface regards use of the functionality and the learning experience is something I really enjoy.

@@blearyview2254 I never thought, that without spending a fortune, I would be able to produce decent quality ride videos, but here we are doing just that. Ok, so the PC I bought a couple of years ago was about £700, a basic but quite powerful gaming pc. The amazing free to use Davinci Resolve 18, has transformed how I edit and produce the vids. I am seriously enjoying learning how to edit, and only scratch the surface of it’s capabilities. Then we get onto the DJI Osmo Action 3, absolutely, bloody fantastic footage. £1100 is a lot of money, but well worth the investment to me. Cheers, keep up the good work.

Hello, sorry for my English, I'm from Slovakia. There is stupidity. If you set the traction control to a value, that value remains the same for all modes. You cannot set traction control for TOUR mode, another traction control for URBAN mode, and so on so that it remains saved. So when you change the driving mode, you also have to change the traction control. Since P and EB change automatically with the mode change, the traction control set by me should also change automatically. I can't get in touch with a competent person from HONDA, but this could be solved with some kind of update.

    • @jurajbaranek5815

It cannot be changed individually for each driving mode. Power and Engine Brake can be saved for each mode separately at your discretion, but traction control cannot. Neither for User1 and User2
