I bought the HTC charger with the club car plug and it came with the a set of alligator clips as well. I have yet to figure out how to bypass the OBC on my 1997 Club car so have just been using the clips on the main Pos. and Neg. to charge. I'm going to give this a try. Hope it works! Thanks.
Depends on the year, some 2005 and newer models have stock chargers with an internal charge profile, but doesn't use it, it's a slave to the OBC. If you bypass the OBC on those stock chargers they will start using the internal charge profile. On 2004 and older models the stock charger depends on the OBC for a charge profile, so if you bypass the OBC the charger will not shut itself off. Generally you should use an aftermarket smart charger if the OBC is bypassed.
Clearest video of how to do this yet! Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
Do you really need to bypass cable? I've watched other videos that just unplug the black one behind console plate.
Will the golf cart still run if you leave the bypass cable connected? Or this only for charging purposes?
Can you answer me one question I noticed you didn't do anything with the gray wire do we have to do anything with that wire
