Truly amazing builds, you re a true artisan of your craft, and it’s great to finally see one of these model V8 engines driving at more than a snails pace, I’ve watch so many other videos with guys building cars with these engines and it all looks fantastic until they drive it and there is loads of noise and smoke but the thing just crawls along. Whatever your secret is, keep it up, you are onto something!!!!
@@TheMiniCar I've built many nitro rc cars and real cars so sure I could do it. I have mates to engineer parts, just the engine price is a bit expensive for me.
We should race. I've been building 1/4 home made. Sheet metal. I've got a Lamborghini that is nitro and I have a dodge challenger that is electric. I really like my electric. I mostly like working with sheet metal. Hmm. We should share our stories.
Unfortunately no. It was purchased before I was able to try. I’m finishing the build for the buyer this winter right after the current build for a friend I’m working on now.
Depends upon what parts a person already owns. The engines range between $4K to $12K, the diffs go from $300 - $700. I made only 60 chassis’s to accommodate 6 model years, so 10 specific C2 and C3 models for each model year. The complete DIY “kit”, without engine, is $18K. Fully functional RC quarter scale cars are a particularly niche hobby.
@@TheMiniCar definitely understand we are in the auto performance world and things get pricey quick…people never understand quality over quantity. Good work
The Conley’s are no longer produced and are usually reserved as shelf queens or running models on test stands. However, the first engine in this prototype was an original Conley V8 and I ran it because that’s what it was meant to do. It was a first generation V8, meaning it had a built up crankshaft. The model weighs 61 pounds, so I knew a 30 plus year old engine, without a solid crank, was not going to be a scorcher. It was questionable as to whether the crank would be able to withstand the stress. I ran it and it worked fine for what it is. I switched it out for an Australian V8 Conley Clone with a solid crank. Gary is the builder and he sells them on eBay as well. gurk26@optusnet.com.
Here you go. Its got a scale quick change rear end by Skellenger. They are no longer in production but are very nice. ruclips.net/video/UtYm5ec4B_8/видео.html
Trust me I get it! The footage was shot that way specifically for Supercar Blondie collaboration. A couple videos were shot that way and not used for their video but will be used on the channel.

This Video should have way more views and more subscribers.
More rc cars need to be built like this
Amazing. I own multiple corvettes and that is an amazing work of art.
Coolest rc ever. Great video would love to see what the top speed run would look like.
Almost ready for the “Runner”. Hopefully it will be run this weekend.
Are you kidding me? This is the greatest thing ever! 🤩
So cool to see it running!
It’s a shame Small Walker is no longer with us. He would have been the perfect pilot for this machine. RIP Little guy 😢
Wow outstanding !! RC !!😍❤👍
Sounds so nice I would love to have one of these in my life.
I know the feeling! If you are a builder or know one that will help you, order a kit. It’s a lot of work and so satisfying to see the final result. 😤😉

Amazing !!! Congrats !!!
Sick! That's badass
Thanks for the content 🙏
This is such a amazing/cool ride 😎 I've always had a fascination with vettes. This is just too much and it hummmmzzz 😆
I want to be here now witnessing some channel that will have millions sub in incoming years
I'd love to have one if it didn't cost as much as the real thing. But I'd love to see a wide open run once just to see what the performance is like
Me2! Seriously Mark, I have aways planned to do an all out speed run and hope to get to it in the spring 2024. Crazy full plate.
Where does the car go if the check engine light turns on? Is there a mini mechanic you take it to whenever you need the oil changed!
This is SO cool
Now that this beast is running I think you need to invest in a gopro with some hypersmooth
You’re gonna love what’s coming next.
I feel a Prince song coming on...
sweet
8 figured it would have whipped the back around easy..
BTW this thing sound AMAZING
Did you ever test the " Runner " did you gps it?

Superbe !
Dope
It would be awesome if you had side pipes. Lv the car
It’s a planned future option. Got 60 total models.
Where’s the motor sourced from?

Wait no Stewart gets this one I was wrong about the other video
Awesome
How fast can it go?
I will be running one with the intention of finding out just how fast they can run. Hopefully this weekend.
@@TheMiniCar hello have you completed a speed run yet??
Does it hv a reverse gear
It this one. But the quarter scale RC 1970 GTX does have a 3 speed forward and reverse in it. Will post on that soon.
@@TheMiniCar nice dude i am watching from a caribbean island name grenada
@@antonito1981 that’s where my moms side of the family is from
What is the top speed of that rc car?
Have not done the speed run yet. But will post the results when I do.
Holy 50 shades of fucking blue balls
I want one 😭😭
2-3 hp to the tires
is not enough for 60 pounds😢
You would be surprised…
Needs a rear end

Next step: twin turbo.
You ought to put a line lock on it so you could do real burnouts.😅
I actually thought about doing that! Maybe later on one of my personal models. 😉
It needs 4.11s 😂😂😂😂😂
Turn your phone sideways

Otherwise I'll supercharge a Stihl 4mix
Yo dude, do you think you can get a Traxxas udr or losi 2.0 1/6th to 70mph basically scale. figure in a 2 speed tranny on button
I don’t know those cars but that sounds cool.
Awesome
