    It looks like the left bank of Cylinders and the right are inline with each other? the one side has to be slightly in front of the other so the rods can be next to each other and still be in the center of the bore and have two rods SHARE a journal?

      Unless he is using knife and fork conrods, like the Rolls Royce Merlin's, Meteors ect.

      No is not inline, there is 2mm offset, one conrod wide. That's why I did the milling on one side of each banks looks nicer

      @@kvechannel Really good demonstration of the process of carving out the block and crankshaft carrier. I liked your technique with breaking the bearing halves like the big boys do.

      Is mild steel block, carbon steel pistons and crankshaft and brass conrods

      Would be fun but but will be just a "not working" model engine toy with the block, crankshaft and pistons only just for a decorative element for my desk :D
