It looks like the left bank of Cylinders and the right are inline with each other? the one side has to be slightly in front of the other so the rods can be next to each other and still be in the center of the bore and have two rods SHARE a journal?
@@kvechannel Really good demonstration of the process of carving out the block and crankshaft carrier. I liked your technique with breaking the bearing halves like the big boys do.
Would be fun but but will be just a "not working" model engine toy with the block, crankshaft and pistons only just for a decorative element for my desk :D
Excellent job! Really excited to see the next video!
Excellent work Sir, Could you clarifie is this the kit supplied by Hemmingways ?
Thank You! Is not supplied by Hemmingways is my own work.
just came across your channel, impressive work, looking forward to next vid
Superb do you have any plans or sizes ,would like to have a go cheers Neil
Ace of base in the back round. Haven't heard that tune in years
I like content like this! I can not wait to see the engine runing! 🤔🔥

Unless he is using knife and fork conrods, like the Rolls Royce Merlin's, Meteors ect.
No is not inline, there is 2mm offset, one conrod wide. That's why I did the milling on one side of each banks looks nicer
@@russcole5685 And Harley Davidson Vee twins.
The thumbnail of the video clearly shows an offset.
Is there a drawing for this motor, or is it all your own design? Thanks, enjoyed very much!
Thank You! Is my own design.. I wanted something similar to the amg m159 engine

Are you working from plans, or just something you came up with yourself?
Yes, I had to make a plan to make everything fit
Would i be able to get a copy of your blueprints.
Looks like you are making it with mild steel, or is it aluminum?
Is mild steel block, carbon steel pistons and crankshaft and brass conrods
@@kvechannel thank you

Brilliant, thank you

It’s kind of weird to me, it’s like watching a giant make an engine. 😂
