I could live with most of the points you make but I do find it very hard to live with the fact they still do not have a waveform, full sized HDMI port (or at least make a cable that minimises the chance of damaging the port they have), the stupid rubber covers for the ports which I have never been able to remove, no thought ever into ND filters why they can't start building lenses that take filters that slot into the back or at least make lens hoods for all of their lenses that have the window in and top of my list would be the white balancing how stupid is that. Most of the things we all seem to moan about could easily be changed with software but I have and still think Canon are not video minded on their non cinema cameras and maybe it is they started in lenses and over the years have moved to camera bodies whereas Sony have done the reverse.

Aperture ring is total useless. It’s like canon never heard about variable nd filters. Control ring is better, but never uses this either. I agree 100% with this video.

So I was going to say something like, I wouldn't call the aperture ring totally useless.... But no, you're right... It is. To start with, the control ring can be set to control the aperture, and it can be de-clicked (which it probably should be by default). The only real difference is that the aperture ring has a fixed rotation range, and the control ring doesn't. It's also supported now on all EOS R cameras in all modes, and not something that only works in video mode, requires a firmware update, or worse a new camera.
Interestingly, I also don't use the control ring either. I thought I would, but alas I don't. I have mine set to exposure compensation, since that's the only exposure control I have left that isn't already on a dial on the camera. Still forget the ring is there though.

I enjoyed your informative talk. I think if our phone can have a large fast hard drive, our camera should be able to include one.

The mic they have is absolutely terrible, especially for $300
