With the first stop being Lake St. Clair, in smallmouth bass territory, a place I've had mixed results but excited to test out the forward facing sonar in one of the best fisheries in the country for using electronics. See how we do as we attempt to move up the AOY leaderboard at another shot at claiming the Angler of the Year title!

I'll say it again, win, lose or draw, you and your videos keep me glued to the elite series! This certainly wasn't your best year and there's a lot of great "new" talent but, you and your videos make you one of the absolute best ambassadors for the sport and the series! IMHO of course.

Couldn't help but notice the conversation you had with @wezalfish after day 3 ;) Was awesome talking to yourself and Kyle that day! Such an awesome family and team you have. Big fan Brandon.. I was just curious, you seem to land the fish from under the boat and belly scoop them. Is there a reason for that over grabbing them by the lip ? Personal preference ? Fish handling etiquette ?

It's mostly a smallmouth thing. If they are under the boat they can't jump and they often keep there mouth closed so its quicker to belly grab em.
