I was unaware that the regulations for this lake changed in 2022. I fish it a lot (for over 10 years) but had never heard of the change. I’m now up to date!
I livewelled the fish to prep for the tournament season & make sure my livewells were in ready to go.
In saying that, I’m not saying the name of the lake on purpose. I don’t want any locals upset with me.

I thought that I recognized the lake as I watched the video, and then the overflow at the west end of the dam came in the background. Now I am positive, I won a local night derby on that spot last summer. Looks like I need to put the A Rig up and ping a minnow. Thanks Chris cool video. Hope I run into you there someday.

Man... I love fishing. I just can't get enough. I got some new swim-bait rods and reels, got all my stuff dialed in... can't wait for some good weather and the pre-spawn to pick up. It's been tough lately. I got a new jerk-bait rod too, and I just haven't gotten bit on any of the new setups. I am feening to feel how those rods feel with a fish on!

It seems like the forward facing sonar is a tool like a bait in a sense. You can see them that doesn’t mean they will bite. I strongly believe that in order to compete you need to go to it. I’m an old school fisherman and can see where Ffs has its place. I enjoyed the video. Can’t wait for more.

Thought you would like to know in Georgia I have three lakes targeting 10+ pounders🐟🐟🐟
Two are found bedding on the corners of the dams of two lakes.
The third lake is two lakes
with an old road bed between the two, and is actually the old dam of the top lake.
You’re right the big girls hang out with deep water near by.

One thing I've been putting a decent amount of thought on is the livescope for being a bad thing for fishing, us being able to see lots of fish. The main take is on lakes with large fish we are not even targeting the smaller fish so are they getting pressured? No. Only targeting big fish give the smaller fish a chance to grow unpressured. My two cents...hope you like this thought. Ill be watching bass track live to see how your doing in the Elites!
Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of non-advanced livescopers, too, so all fish sizes are pressured. Maybe I am wrong?

I do not have an electronic sponsor. I learned my lesson over the last 4 years that it’s best to run whatever works. Different brands have different strengths.

I think watching the livescope is way more entertaining. Look at it. This way, I can either watch you cast and reel the fish in. Or I can watch you cast and reel the fish in plus see how the fish are reacting to the baits. Hands down way more entertaining.
