I have noticed over the last 3 years, that the offshore bite on guntersville and It seems like the tva up to wheeler and pickwick isn’t as good as prior years. Late May into June use to be the juice. Over the last 3 years I have won money buy staying shallow and catching big fish and maybe hitting a few offshore areas to try and cull during the tournament in late June. I have a few theory’s as to why, but there is no data to back it up. The main one being FFS pressure, I asked Andy Morgan also and he agreed that due to FFS pressure we would start to notice more fish staying shallow longer over the coming years. That was a few years ago when I asked him so his opinion may have changed. It could be something as simple as these new generation of bass may prefer bluegills, i have no idea but it’s all very interesting to me.

I've not lost one of those, but my new chain loop for my eighteen bar on my Husqvarna fells into a pond I was standing over, straight out of it's cardboard box packaging. Does that count?I know at the time I was unhappy, I have strong magnets, but lacked the smarts to go get them.

Too late for the help but I have an excellent way point on that lake. It’s a shell bed off a main point. My camp is on the point and that shell bed is huge and holds new fish every day. Usually a spro lil John in chartreuse and blue will work and I’ll rotate a shaky head with a pink or purple worm or a green pumpkin with chartreuse tip. Then I’d hit any bluff wall for smallies with a swimbait or a tube. I have caught 15 lbs off the dock where that shell bed is. I watched the entire tournament seeing if anyone would find it but they didn’t. Crazy thing is, it’s a pretty popular place during the local events. It’s past the flats and just past the nuclear plant. I’ve caught several 5+pound smallies and many 3-5 lb largemouth.

@@Zaldaingerous reading it back, I wasn’t trying to brag about the weight because there is no way I could keep up with you pros (I’d get my teeth kicked in). Just stating that that point holds some 3-4 lbers normally. If the grass wouldn’t have been killed last year and y’all fished it the last few years the weights would have been much higher.
Really enjoying your videos and I’m glad you’re having a great year because I’ve been using you on my fantasy team most of the year. Can you tell me how you’re feeling about Smith? I’ve only been striper fishing there and it just intimidates me too much, I’m not good on deep clear fisheries with herring. They were busting like crazy up there about a month ago when y’all were at Murray, most were giant stripers though.

Just put it on there, he didn't solicit the info. Tell him next year you'll post from 10 to 10:30 on the 1st day of the month then take it off that way only he sees the public info and nobody else does. So if he takes a lie detector test he will pass because it was public info that's how they did it twenty years ago.
@@user-jd1es1du7z maybe after July the 4th, I’m going to the camp for a week and I plan on fishing it pretty hard 😂 but if you know the lake I’ve pretty much started where it is, a pro would be able to take that info and find it within 30 minutes to an hour. There aren’t many points in that area.
Dragging a plastic. Dropshot, Texas rig and Carolina rig is what I do. Or go punch Grass on Guntersville. I got laughed at by a bunch of guys when I said it would take over 80 to win the tournament , I marshalled for Arey Day 1 and Scott Martin Day 2. I had 81-4 as my Fantasy Weight.

I live 20 minutes from wheeler and best way I know to catch them is lock a black and blue jig and a senko with a 1/4 oz weight and drag it around u can catch’s 13 to 16 like that but it’s a grinder either way u look at it lol it’s amazing fishing when they rolling 50,000 +

With all the boats running around lot of the fish go straight to the bank

You started out correct. If they are dropping water, hit the mainstream or branch’s of elevation which feed the mainstream…and slow your fishing style down. Think of water level as money, if you got plenty of water everybody loves going wild, but when it’s dropping your slower and precise

Chris, the people you are speaking to in these videos are the common weekend angler. We are the ones that watch you and live vicariously through your exploits and intern buy what you represent. I put myself in that gentleman's shoes you pulled up on and concluded that the entitlement and blatant arrogance you displayed was absolutely unacceptable as a representative of BASS!
