    Man way to stay in there strong . Most people would have pulled the plug out of the boat and let her hit bottom. Setting great examples for all to see you the man. Thanks again for another great adventure. Late.

      The vaaders can be tricky. When we do get a batch built they sell very quickly. Hoping to have another set available soon.

      I wish we could get them out the very next week, but that would require another person which would require more money out of pocket. It’s something I’m working towards. I just haven’t been able to make it happen.

    Do you read the comments Brandon? Are you losing these fish because you're playing them out a little for the camera? . Mayne your minds on the camera and not on the fish? Idk, just something that came to mind over these last two shows.

    • @BmpFishing
      @BmpFishing  10 месяцев назад +1

      I don't think it's either of those things. We've filmed over 60 Elite events and the camera has never had a negative effect. think some of it is seeing the fish before they eat the bait and not giving them proper time to get it.

    • @BDC.75
      @BDC.75 10 месяцев назад

      Ya I could understand that. The only other thing I thought was either too thick a hook (I've downsized to thin JPN hooks for smallies up here great lakes.. or too much backbone in rod ? Regardless, you're a fkn champ bro ✊️ and I love these videos.

    I've argued for years: Up the bar--- stop culling. If a pro puts in the live well, that's where it remains until weigh in. Period. End of story. No one captured the 1 second of flipping a culled bass like it was a weed back in the water?? 0:36 into the vid if you're not paying attention

    • @BmpFishing
      @BmpFishing  Месяц назад

      What is your reasoning against culling out a living fish?

    • @finmanpoozie4756
      @finmanpoozie4756 Месяц назад

      @@BmpFishing Some states already have laws against culling. Make pros & tournament guys make a decision before the fish goes in the live well- tank it & keep it. I'd also propose allowing nets...too many are holding fish sideways, 45 degree angles etc....most likely busting jaw after jaw killing it slowly. (Jaws are not handles or meant to be weight bearing by the very jaw anatomy). I won't bed fish either. Put 3500 boats on a lake during spawn & I'll cast my vote for a population potentially impacted also. People often talk about fishing pressure, talk about catch & release, then go against it by culling, bed fishing & a lack of appropriate fish handling that increases mortality rates in all likelihood.
      What I do know is when I was a kid on small lakes, it was limit after limit taken home. By the time I was 20, almost no bass were being caught from the same lakes.
      Take it all with a grain of salt because I'm no biologist. I put pride in correct fish handling so they can bite another day. (a lot of pride actually).

    • @finmanpoozie4756
      @finmanpoozie4756 Месяц назад

      @@BmpFishing ...turns out i had more thoughts *smile*CPRS putting it simply. Throwing a stressed fish back doesn't mean it'll live. Appropriate fish handling- including making tourney guys decide to keep or not to keep a fish; almost no one I'm aware of is talking about CPRS but many talk about catch & release- means nothing with high mortality rates. End culling
      CPRS details I am anal about?? Wet my hands before grabbing a fish, use a net, out of the water 30 seconds max. Things like wet the bump board before the fish goes on it & keep it off the carpeting so their slime stays intact as much as possible. Stop lipping so jaws aren't dislocated. For Pete's sake STOP lipping and holding a fish @45 or 90 degree angles (jaws are not handles)... All of this stuff helps ensure a released fish survives after being released...and yes, end culling. CPRS matters more than fish CPR....end culling
