finally michigan getting some love from the pro tours. The tours need to do a better job of getting up here to the midwest. Too much of a focus on the southern region. Illinois, ohio, and michigan have some of the best bass fishing in the US.

dj johnson I have to disagree only on the Illinois. Illinois is mostly crap yes some spots have decent fish but I would never say Illinois has some of the best bass fishing in the US. I live in crappy Illinois and when I want to go for huge bass I go to lake chickamauga in Tennessee

So, I have a bone to pick w electronics and actual fishing... like baiting hogs or deer for a hunt. As far as I’m concerned, y’all cheating. Weakness on the human scale. As much as I respect and admire these guys ( and believe me, I do ), I’d love to see a tournament/ tour, rely on a man/woman’s instincts and or ability to out smart 5 pea brained bass a day. No topos, no navionics, no nothin. Not even a simple Garmin depth finder or with water temp gauge. I’m not talkin “let’s go caveman “, rather, let’s be a bit more true to ourselves and the hunt. Life in all forms was not meant to be taken easily.
