If anyone reading this knows of an outdoorsy gal in her mid 60's who can back up a boat trailer , rustle up a decent shore lunch, rebuild some Evinrude carburetors when the fish aren't biting and doesn't talk a lot I'd be forever in your debt. Oh, it wouldn't hurt if she could tie some of the more popular bonefish flies for the occasional southern fishing adventures..

Cool musky fishing stories, well done. 👍
We do have musky on Orchard Lake, Oakland County. Bass fishing and a musky will show up. 😎

If you are seeing or catching musky on orchard lake then you might want to let the DNR know. I'm in a musky club and have information on where musky are stocked, where they are naturally, and where they are successfully reproducing and lake orchard is not one. I'm not discounting your claim. I know of a river that isn't supposed to have them but does because they escaped a stocked lake. With the dams busting at Sanford there's going to be musky caught in all kinds of random places.

@@gonefishn365 There are several Bass Clubs and Tournaments on Orchard Lake. I saw one caught this summer. July 2020. You are allowed to keep one none bass for your total season. It was weight in and released. It was in the 40 inch range with a very large girth. I do not fish in tournaments, check to local bass clubs to verify this story. Hope this helps. Please keep me posted on your findings. I will also see if I can find some photos and information. Gary 🚂

Anyone in the world can catch Muskies in lake st clair , it wont be like that much longer, its also not that impressive that people troll. I mean of course people without experience can get them. No casting no skill no nothing, just electronics and dragging a lure . As far as the catch and release , most of these so called "charters" dont even know your NOT supposed to fish them in 80 plus weather. I have a buddy that just saw 5 muskies floating dead in lake st clair the other day , i wonder why .....

Trolling is boring! Watching others troll is like watching paint dry.

Terrible handling techniques. Ughhh that was hard to watch. These guys are guides? Just letting the muskies flop around in the boat? Yeah I did that a couple times when I first started too, but these charters should know better than promoting these techniques.

Don’t usually waste time commenting and won’t check for a reply. But promoting that guide’s cringe-worthy techniques in the first segment is not a good look. It’s especially a shame you did that on what could’ve been an awesome piece of video for the ladies. It’s just overshadowed by those guys stinking it up. As an actual musky fisherman, it’s not a good to bring a musky aboard and let it flop around on the deck like that “guide” does. You leave them in the water, in the net, or get them directly into the recovery well. Any seasoned musky fisherman (even the guide in the second segment) would agree, that segment’s practices are totally embarrassing and not a good thing to promote with such an opportunity. Get some better editors. Yours clearly are not fisherman, and trying to make a buck off those who are.

Seriously, how did they even run that first segment? Exhausted and half-dead muskies being pulled right into the boat. Not the way to educate new musky anglers 👎👎👎
