WOW! Brought back memories. I lived in Daytona Beach in the early 80s with a 1969 GMC custom van. Porsche bucket seats, two sunroofs, insulated, mirror over the bed, swivel chair, rocking stereo, and with the drive on beach it was the perfect beach hangout.
Absolutely amazing..... this is my exact dream. I grew up in the late 70s when my parents had two different custom Chevy vans. The one 79 Chevy was this red. My grandfather did the interior. Pushing 50 I'm looking for a van like this to redo. Good Times
Real Nice Work! Love the 95 G20s, last of the great looking vans from Chevy. I have a rare 95 G20 RV Class B {Turtle Top Conversion} I have never seen one on the road. Hope to take it one day to a van show.

Super nice and clean set up
That is a dope build. I just got a 92 g20 with the 305 also. Super clean, but doesnt have as cool of a doghouse and drinkholder or swivel seats. I also want pop out windows and mine don't pop out. But I love it. I have only had it a few days. Super stoked to build up a nice interior and walls with sofa bed. Yours looks great!
To have a good woman not only supporting, but also helping with this beautiful van, is beyond admirable.
A couple of questions:
What's under the sink?
Are you able to heat up or cool off the interior of the van even when it's shut off?
Where do you keep the spare tire and any tools that you need to work on the van?
that is awesome how you did the bed i think im gonna use your idea my harley will fit in the middle then for get out of the snow trips in the winter

1st lemme say long time watching fist time coms. Love this channel! Everyone has a story about their van. Would love to catch up @ the Nationals. I live fulltime in my 2000 Dodge. Got her for cheap . I was homeless and no family prior to that and she changed my life! ..However, she's 20 and the whole front end has rusted out and is all but impossible to drive. Gearbox and looks like the rest of my steering is deteriorated. Every pothole im leaving change on the road lol....

Love the van great shape and you did very well fixing it up. Thumbs up on your video. I have a 82 Dodge Conversion Vans one-of-a-kind also with the two benches in the back. The van was purchased in 1982 and shipped to California to get the conversion job and it's still all original. Starting to show wear and tear now. We have used it since the mid-90s and are the second owners. Anyway ours has the two benches like I said but you take the cushions off board flips over for a full size bed. Piece and happy travels.
I have the GMC version of this van (Rally Wagon) in bright yellow- same year 95. I love it. You guys nailed the design- this is absolutely gorgeous!

What part numbers did you use for putting the steering wheel and hub for the column? I have a 95 G20 Sportvan and I can't find anything on line did you use a different steering column year to work ?

I have a 95 van and just bought Rallys 15x8 but when we tried them on the front they are way to close to the tie rod. Can you tell where you ordered yours and what are your dimensions and what offset did you order? Thank you

I would mount the extra batteries on the top of the vehicle but put them inside ammo boxes for protection.

I want a G20 for pulling quads on a trailer!
kerry gordon or you could modify the back ends of two scrapped G20s into a front and rear load van shaped trailer and store the quads inside the van looking trailer. There are a couple videos here online showing other people using rears of two matching vans to assemble a trailer out of, it’s a bit if work, but it’ll have huge payoff, and if you opt to seal the front than you can use entry from inside via the side or rear doors and have a small bathroom in the front end of the trailer, no stinking up the van, separation from others when doing your business, etc....
