@@IAMChrisWorkman I love the nostalgia of the old 80s and 90s vans, and that interior was in pretty good shape. I would have tried to keep the nice stuff and clean it up, but function over form is more important ^.^
Stina!!! I had to build this dream from scratch haha. Yes I’ll document my travels for sure! But sure going to show you guys the real story of this build haha my real challenges lol
I like how your van build turned out. I have a 1989 vandura 2500 that I'm about to start renovating but just haven't known where to start, your video is very helpful especially because I want to do the same ceiling in mine.
Wow, you did a fantastic job building your camper van. Looks beautiful and you lightened it up inside as well. If I knew anything about solar I’d love to put some in our 1995 GMC Vandura. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome Michael! Yeah the white walls makes it feel bigger inside. And good luck on the solar. I watched a lot of videos to help with my solar system
Wow you did?! That is amazing and happy you tried it. Gut health is so important. I know I’m doing van life videos, but will sprinkle health related videos also.
How did you drill into the top without screws sticking out? Did you drill into the wood beams in the fiberglass? I’m afraid of weakening it and I don’t know if glueing is the best solution to getting the supports to stay in place 🤔 I have a 94 vandura with a fiberglass roof as well!
This is great! I have a 93 Vandura I am starting to build out, wondering what you did/if you have tips on what to do with all the electric wires (can you just cut and cap them?) and the big heater in the back?
Yea it does come insulated from the beginning but it wasn’t great insulation. So I re did the insulation myself. I don’t have the video of me adding all the insulation in the walls, but it’s all in there now! It’s about 5’5” tall inside and 7.5 feet tall outside
It was the happy dance for me🤣
hahahaha! A moment of satisfaction LOL!
Nof going to lie, I liked it with the stock interior.
You did? That’s awesome. Yeah for me, I wanted to redesign it for complete comfort.

@@jamielynn2585 that’s a good point. Functional is key! Haha during in the summer and in the heat, it needed a make over

Yes, I drilled into the beams in the fiberglass. I wouldn't trust just glue, unless you have great support
I have a 1995 g2500 Vandura also. I am looking for a good top to raise it a foot or so. Any Suggestions? Thanks
Hi here’s a good website. There’s more out there. Just got to find them.

yo why do all these van life builds have a fascination with wood plank??!! Wood coffin look i guess
Hola✌️ more Inspiration to get my !!%^#!! moving 🤪saved your video 😎 Summers in the north 🏖 and winters in the south 🌴🏖 Gracias 🎃
Hey long time no see. I hope you doing well. And enjoy your adventures
Hello! Yes it’s been awhile because of the van lol 😆
Does it come insulated already? How tall is it inside? Thx
Yea it does come insulated from the beginning but it wasn’t great insulation. So I re did the insulation myself. I don’t have the video of me adding all the insulation in the walls, but it’s all in there now! It’s about 5’5” tall inside and 7.5 feet tall outside
Hey I’m ira Wilkins and I just picked up a 95 van like this was wondering how long it took you to do this job im about to do the same
It took me about 4 months non stop
Please come remodel mine!!!
That would be cool!!
Wow, amazing!! I would love to pay you to do this to my van. How much do you charge??
Haha thanks!! Do you live in Vegas? And what kind of van do you have?
How tall are you? Just curious
I'm 5'5" so I was able to stand up almost completely! Have to tilt my head a tad to fit in the van haha.
Can u work on my can I have a 1989 vandura
You have one also?! That’s awesome! Are you in Las Vegas?
My biggest fear is doing this and someone just totaling it
I can definitely see that as a major concern. My fear was my van breaking down, and it being in a repair shop for awhile.
id just like to take this opportunity to say reflectix sucks. that is all
