You did your thing with that little pantry. I love when I see people using budget supplies to create their pantries. So unique and your little helper is beautiful.
I see lots of plastic, lots of toxic food. Rethink your space shortage, by eliminating the junk food. Start by baking and popping snacks. Ketchup is sooo easy to make, one can of tomato paste. Time equivalent to shopping, organizing, shifting and forgetting what you have. Eliminate toxic pop. Get a soda stream and use baking extracts and fruit skins for flavor. No added space of landfill air toxic plastic. You are Blessed, treat your health and earth as a shrine to your God.
Great job Karla I have one of those door hangers boy do they hold allot especially as your lifestyle changes from kid's growing up to not having kid's. Don't worry your heavenly Father will provide for you and your children family. 🤗💐💖
You did a great job with your pantry. Your brown sugar should be in the container where your powdered sugar is. The clay disk is to keep brown sugar soft.
if you can get baskets over time and accumulate them little by little, it doesn't seems like a huge punch to the gut as far as cost. I would recommend getting bins little at a time and set them aside for your pantry organization. Also look at the dollar tree from time to time and I've been saving these for MONTHS for when I was ready to tackle this project. It takes time but it was all worth it in the end.
I dont mind the clear bins especially in a small pantry as you can see at a glance whats in there and easily pulled out when you need to use it , ie : baking goods etc .the door basket rack is a great use of space ,when its at a minimum 👍

What a good idea to do a renter friendly pantry makeover! Even if one stays in the same house, grocery needs and staples change over time, so it's great to have the ability to rearrange.👍👍
Yes exactly Joy, I know our needs will change over the next few years so it's nice to have that flexibility. I cant believe we've been in our home a year already!
I have a small pantry too, and just yesterday did a reset of it. One thing I added that has made a big difference is a bin on the floor of the pantry for my extras of items. I love that you did that too. It keeps the pantry shelves so much tidier. I can have just one box of spaghetti out on the shelf and when that is used up, grab another from the extras bin. I am in a different season of life than you are, (no babies or kids living here anymore), and like you, have the inside the door storage rack. For me it is a great place for my spice bottles and jars, oils and vinegars and canned items. Pantries need to be flexible to adapt as the family grows and changes.
Hi Karla it's Lindsey. The pantry looks awesome. This is the first video I have been able to watch for a while. My right eye was swollen and I had a blister on my cornea that popped and scratched my cornea. It's slowly getting better. I have been slowly but surely getting our home done. Great job!! I really need to get to mine. I too put in an over the door organizer for my pantry. I like your idea of using command hooks to keep it in place. My issue is that I have one of those beautiful etched glass on my pantry door and you can see the stuff in the organizer. Thank you for all your inspiration!
