the kitchen looks beautiful! grab a funnel from the store to keep next time you need to refill your spice jars. You can even DIY it and roll up a piece of paper OR cut a plastic water bottle then turn it upside down

Just a tip, something to think about....
If you do alot of cooking, thinking about the food items you do have stored in the cabinets beside/above the stove. The steam that rises.

Finally a black girl who loves organizing! I have been looking for you! Moving into our first home end of the month so I’ve been binge watching cleaning/organization videos
Here is a tip Kayla that has worked perfect for me. Get some small commando hooks and place them in your seasoning cabinet. Then hang your measuring cups from them. It frees up that space in your drawer. Love the organization. Will definitely have to order some of those wire baskets.

Just a tip. Always measure your space. Arrange canisters in the cabinet before filling so you get an idea as to how it will look and fit. I am so happy for you. You are truly taking care of your young lady business!

I have always purchased my glasses and plates from dollar tree. They're good quality and cheap! They have different patterns as the seasons change

Dollar Tree’s wine glasses are actually better quality than I’ve found in Department and High End stores! Just picked up some “Reds” to add to my All Purpose and “Whites”.
Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s has glasses and stuff in sets really affordable cheaper than paying a dollar a glass at the dollar store.

The better homes containers are a life saver. I learned quickly they help maintain freshness for a long time. I did the same thing to my kitchen a year ago and I put some chips in one and they kept fresh for over two weeks. I will be using some of your ideas too. Loved your video.

Facts......I love translucent glassware and plates in my cabinet and I got all from Dollar Tree. And its heavy glass.
I was going to say this also! Dollar Tree also has these super thick beer mugs with a handle! Don’t know if any of you are beer drinkers...but my husband keeps 4-5 on deck in the freezer

My biggest kitchen tip for when you have a small kitchen/no island would be to keep the counters with minimal decorations. If you cook a lot or entertain regularly the decorations end up getting in the way of food prep or setting food out for guests.

I love your videos Kayla! When you put the food or spices into glass jars, maybe put small stickers on bottom w/ the expiration date from the original box so, you know when food expires. It won't show since its at bottom.

If you use stickers, write the dates in pencil, so you can change it as necessary. Or, use a chalk marker on the glass.

Kitchen looks beautiful! I hope you don’t mind if I point out one thing: when you transfer all your spices to those pretty little containers, you lose the expiration date. Spices expire! You may want to consider putting a label on the bottom

I worked as a pantry attendant and we did a lot of organizing snacks and drinks all things you would see in a fully stocked kitchen and I loved the organization part. 🤗. You should also get clips to put on your opened items like your open cereals.

My aunt taught me to put my knives upside down in the block to keep them from getting dull. The blade isn't constantly being dragged across the wood and resting on it. Just a little tip that might help 😀
Also I have some flip top glass cylinders from ikea for my pasta the large fits the long spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine etc perfectly and they were like 5 or 6 dollars.

Number one Tip for organizing .......Decide where you are putting items, Measure the space its going, then "buy" your containers. Works all the time.
Wholefoods always has nice blend of seasoning. Tequila Lime is one of my favorites.

Drawer under the stove is a warming drawer. Most people store their pots or pans in that drawer, but it is nice for keeping foods warm before serving
