Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing kitchen organization ideas that are realistic yet aesthetic! I love aesthetic oganization - but it needs to be practical! I have so many budget friendly organization recommendations. Let's organize together!
Small recommendation: Put the coffee pods in a basket in the cabinet where the spices are stored. You can easily differentiate between flavors by color. Then put the spices in the drawer where the coffee pods were stored. It’s more valuable to see all your spices because that will encourage you to use them and use different combinations of spices
BIG recommendation. Wake up to an ecological mindset. Stop contributing to the Pacific Garbage Patch and microplastics in our food needlessly. Do you want your creature comforts contributing to the cancer pandemic and planetary degradation? Think. Simply get a French Press: 100% healthy and sustainable. All you need is ground coffee and hot water. Instantly done. If you want flavours, mix them in yourself. Don't just think of yourself. Think of our shared planet and future generations.
A tip for the cooking oils you store in the wall cabinet…get a lazy Susan so you can spin the Susan around & not have to bring down all your oils which can be a bit heavy. Since it spins you can always see what you have & not have to reach around. It was a life changer for me.
Two quick tips...when the organizer units don't fill the drawer. To keep the organizer from sliding back fill that void with pool noodle. You can cut them to fit any void. Secondly, don't waste space under the sink for garbage can liners. Store those bags and liners in the bottom of your garbage can, great reminder to replace the liner when trash is emptied too.
Alexandra, if you have a small unused cookie sheet or an unused lid to a plastic shoebox, you can put it under your toaster to catch the crumbs 😊. Also it might be helpful to put a label on top of the spice jar or lay them on the side as others have suggested😊. Great video 😊.
You could put clear plastic drawer liners over the wallpaper. That way you have the aesthetic, but you don't have the organizers scratch the wallpaper over time.
I wonder if it would be helpful to turn all the spice bottles so the labels face outward. It looks like you'll want to slide the bin in and out of the cabinet, so if all the labels face out, you can easily grab the one you want without having to rummage through them all ~
I really enjoyed watching your video. I stop watching so many videos from other RUclips channels because there’s too much talking without actually showing how a product is going to be used. Your video is a perfect blend! Your tips are great & I appreciate that you use items from different stores. I love the Home Edition line from Walmart, but they aren’t always available. I’m a new subscriber!
Could you please tell me where you got the wallpaper? I'm moving in my new house soon and absolutely love it. I may use it on some walls, but I definitely want it in my kitchen drawers! Thanks
Looking good. How often should we clean the drawer runners. I do them when I de-clutter but should we clean them more often. It does make me feel good after I do them.
Thank you for the video, Alexandra. You have given me so many great ideas! Your kitchen is gorgeous. Do you have a "house tour" video? Happy New Year, from a new subscriber from Ontario, Canada!
When I become disorganized, I have too much inventory. It is so much more effective to declutter first, then clean, then organize. It’s very hard to organize clutter
This vlog is a game-changer! 🌈🍽 Your ideas are so practical and visually appealing. I'm feeling super motivated to declutter and organize my kitchen now. Thanks for the ultimate inspiration! 👏✨
Another hack modification: if u use the Dollar Tree locker bins, double them for increased stability. They are less likely to bend or break and are still a bargain
I wish I had drawers like yours in my kitchen. I have a total of three very skinny drawers. I had a hard time finding a silverware container that would fit in my drawer. I did line my drawers with white liner from Walmart. I even used it in the bathroom drawers. Your kitchen is so nice. I hate for anyone to look in my pantry. I can’t keep it organized. I try. But my husband puts things anywhere. So I just quit. I have to store my air fryers and my crock pot in there on the bottom. Plus, dog food, cat food. It’s just a mess. I may buy some containers to keep the dog food in. Then it might look better.
Also, your spices have labels on the front of the jar, so you have to pick up each jar to find the spice you are looking for. Why not put a corresponding spice label on the jar lid so you can find them faster, without having to search one by one.
Using the lovely wallpaper in the kitchen drawer is a nice idea, but since I live in Georgia, we know the glue on the back of prepasted wallpaper attracts bugs of all kinds, who like to eat the glue.

Hi Alexandra! I can't find the spice jars on your Amazon store front. Will you provide the link if possible? Thank you!

iI agree on this one. They take up so much room in that drawer. I keep mine in a basket or a clear cansiter.

A hack for measuring the liners is using the first one as a template to cut the others over it. That is if the drawers are the same size.
Good idea!!
One tip! In the spice organization, face the labels to the sides so you can pull it out and see everything from both sides!
Love how you emphasize practicality. An aesthetically pleasing space looses its charm if it’s not functional!

Always store the oils in dark bottles so they last longer.

Love the toaster in an organizer hack! That's a great solution!

I love those spice bottles with the pink lid!😍

Turn them sideways, so you can pull out the tray and read the label trough the acrylic, instead of having to pull out every jar.
Love your kitchen. I’m glad to see that someone else uses wall paper to line the drawers. I use it in the dresser drawers in the bedrooms also.❤❤
Ça se déchire au bout d’un certain temps
Great idea to use the left-over wallpaper/ how pretty!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for the tips on the acrylic organizers.
Where did you buy the baggies and plastic wrap organizer? I like that the top lifts up--looks like it's easier to load than the wooden ones.
In drawers: Use museum puffy or sticky tack to prevent them from moving around in drawers. That is what I did.
Yes I meant to buy that for this video but forgot lol. Next time! 💖
Beautiful kitchen. Love the organization. You did a great job.
Thanks so much! 😊

@@SimplyAlexandraI was wondering the same thing! Do you have an affiliate link? I love all the shark products.
You need some museum putty! It's clear, and helps keep your acrylic organizers from sliding around the drawer when opening and shutting❤
Yes I do! Totally forgot to buy it 💖
Another hack modification: if u use the Dollar Tree locker bins, double them for increased stability. They are less likely to bend or break and are still a bargain

You can use museum putty to tack down the wallpaper so it doesn’t slide on you.

You need cord wraps on those appliances! Available on Amazon
Could have cut the paper from one side in total as a big piece instead of 2 smaller ones

What a waste of liner, use a measuring tape.
=)
Какая, то не рациональная😧😧😧. Слишком много расхода - ВОДЫ и отходов😡😡😡🤮🤮🤮,👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
That wallpaper looks so good as liner! ✨ thank you for the tips, practicality is key!
