Earth is the combination of heaven and hell, because you can experience both pain, suffering and ugliness as well as happiness, peace, and beauty. Hell and heaven are concepts that divide those traits into their own universe, one of pure chaos and pain, the other, order and peace. I guess in a way, earth is the true Limbo, which in a way makes sense, since it is actually described in the divine comedy to be just an inferior version of heaven. The game devs just used creative license to make limbo more dark and grotesque. Lucifer is wrong here, because he of course puts doubt into minds of man by only pointing out the dark side of life, which is typical seeing as he’s manipulative and deceitful, he also hates man and would do anything to cast doubt into minds in order for humanity and to fall. Also I’m agnostic, I just really like theistic mythology and philosophy.

Lucifer is right about one thing. Man is not good. Ever since the Original Sin we are nothing more than fallen, dark, twisted creatures. Why else would we need a Savior? If we were good, we could save ourselves, earn perfection, earn Heaven. But we can't.
The devils greatest powers comes not from lies but half-truths. While man has committed great evil for personal gain, they have also done so much good for the sake of goodness. Never forget that and never forget the gift of free will and the choice to do good.
and what makes what LUCIFER Said about humanity TRUELY disturbing AND compelling about HOW he described MAN,is how RIGHT he is. And just ONE of the ways that PROVES this,is how it’s BEST exemplified by what we have seen in NETFLIX’S DEVILMAN crybaby,PERIOD.
