    This is such a lovely trip for you guys. Watching you truly makes me happy. And it’s fun how you say Hakone as ‘hakyown’ and Fuji as ‘fyuji’.

    I’m glad you went grocery shopping in Japan! Although the place you went to (Welcia) is a drugstore actually. I hope you visit another proper supermarket, they’re amazing.

    Omg the toll is expensive. I heard gas is expensive too as my friend lives in osaka.

    • @EoinandAisling
      @EoinandAisling  6 месяцев назад +2

      The gas wasn’t as bad as we expected but the van had a very small tank but yeah those tolls were crazy!

    Hi Eoin and Aisling.
    Homer here from the Philippines. Been s fan since your visit to our country.
    Doesthe vant have a toilet?
    If not, what was your solution for the calls of nature?

    • @EoinandAisling
      @EoinandAisling  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Homer!
      The van doesn’t have a toilet but the Michi No ekis are free roadside stations and you will find them everywhere plus the convenience stores almost always have a toilet so you are never stuck haha

    So small similar to their small house. Will not fit americans. Their RVs are huge

    • @EoinandAisling
      @EoinandAisling  6 месяцев назад +2

      Hah very different from a HUGE RV, but still just as much fun

      True. Japanese cities are not “car-centric” at all, everything is more walkable because it’s super connected with public transpo. Be that as it may, the roads infrastructure in Japan is PERFECT and impeccable. The car stop stations are pristine, clean restrooms and great food + shops.
