Who did you spot in the background?

A wild @TechTechPotato at 2:15
me driving into a wall at 2:30 haha
This was the best coverage of LTX that I have seen. Everyone else was more interested in who rather than what was there.
I didn’t even cover 2/3rd of what there was to do at the show. 😅😅 Appreciate it though. I didn’t want to invade every other creator’s space just to pad out my video so I just kept my filming to myself for the most part. I did rope Linus into a TikTok though 🤣
It’s literally hosted by an influencer
SUCH AN AWESOME SHOW!
So much better than I expected. 👌🏻👌🏻
Nice to see ya!! Sorry our comment is late! Haha
great coverage - was watching with subtitles on and had to do a double take at head of mommy headphones 😄
The auto-captions were properly ridiculous in some places so I had to leave a few of the sillier things.
7:11 that's Arnold Schwarzeneger level of tired
Get to the choppaaaa!
It was so nice meeting both of you for Dinner. You were awesome
It was lovely to chat with you and cross paths throughout the weekend. I’m glad to see you seemed to have a great time and really take it all in. 👌🏻👍🏻
That cool racing. You need some -红牛 ( China drinks)when visiting the exhibition.
LTX really seems to be turning into the next homegrown PAX. I wonder if they'll expand into gaming more as well, maybe have an Indie Megabooth-style area with some game awards from the event. I know indies love displaying all the awards they've gotten at conventions.
and whats great about having a massive lan party at the event is that they could setup cool/fun engagement between the lan and developers like game key giveaways, tournements, showcases, demos, etc.
Sadly this will be the last LTX for awhile now.
Thanks for sharing, had more things going on there than I expected. Hopefully you had fun!
I maybe covered half of the show too (or less). It was a bigger deal than I expected for sure. And I did have fun, thanks!
It was awesome to talk to you at the Pantheon booth. Heh I was hoping to see my lovely hand modeling shot in there!
When I was wrapping up I spotted that clip and thoguut “damn I didn’t include that, it’s a good product example” but reshuffling the video would have been a pain. If I end up getting a machine in studio I’m sure I’ll use it then. Thanks for hand modeling and chatting!
I think it's cool that Arri is there. It ssems like they are starting to work with content creators more and more and I am all for it!
I guess they’ve worked with LTT at least a bit. They were letting folks take “the worlds most expensive selfie” where you posed with an Alexa and another one took a screen grab 🤣 I didn’t have a chance to get in on that.
Great video! Loved it. I gotta go next year!
You should consider it. It’s a fun time for sure.
I have to say it's a bummer the Prusa Team still hasn't managed to make multimaterial prints with no purge block at all. They mentionned working on it months ago
The purge block is significantly less than other systems, but yea I’d sure like to see it reduced even further. I don’t know how feasible it is though. There was clearly just a bit of boogers on the purge block here and some random tiny imperfections on the print itself even with this block.
@@MandicReally imperfections like color bleeding or inconsistent extrusion ?
@@_Xantras_ blobs & strings at the start and end of extrusion. Consistency & bleed seemed well managed to me.
you're like, the best 3dp youtuber omh
Much appreciated!
This was such a great video.
Thank you very much 👌🏻👌🏻
Hey Mandic I have an ender 5 and wanna upgrade the extruder what are some good not too expensive bowden extruder that you would recommend
Ender 5 or Ender 5 Plus? I don't really have much in the way of bowden recommendations honestly.
Why not go Direct Drive? The MicroSwiss NG extruder is a solid upgrade path. Bowden? I don't have much of a recommendation.
Nice video! Also, I am curious to know how did you cancel the background noise this well in this video, I can barely hear what people are saying in other ltx videos.
I actually didn’t do much noise reduction in post as the processed sound of that is usually as distracting as background noise. Most people used Lavalier microphones at the show, which are honestly terrible for show floors. They pick up sound in all directions so they can be mounted various ways, but that also means they pick up a lot of background noise. I used a shotgun mic on top of my camera pointed right at me. That mic picks up just what’s in front of it and as it was close to my face it could be turned down to reduce background noise. I also tried to record when things weren’t crazy loud. Aside from the “MSI / Intel” chanting time of course. 😅 Thanks though. I try so it’s nice when people take note of such stuff.
@MandicReally *sounds like* the shotgun mic makes so much difference. Definitely sounds clearer than wan show itself, lol. Thanks for the explanation!
@@randomly-generated-name Really makes you wonder why big productions don't have a few microphones so they can always pick the best sound. I'm sure some fancy noise cancellation could be performed with multiple microphones as well.
Windows 3.1.1 was my first :( I feel so old now lolz
My first was likely a hand-me-down DOS machine but 3.11 was the first windows I remember running.
can you do a P1S upgrade video once you get your kit?
It is quite likely I will do that. Maybe I’ll unbox the P1P finally and do a full upgrade right out of the box.
I didnt see Windows ME and it should remain that way, cursed OS
It was there just hard to see the way I cut the video. Ha. Don’t worry, they didn’t discriminate on showing the awful too.
nice video!
Thank you very much
It's strange that I'm not the only one around with a Half Life themed V0...
Great minds think alike!
hl+voron = perfection
Should have shown how cool the Metal 3D printer was.
Honestly I wasn’t particularly interested. It requires post processing to fuse the material. Similar to BASF filament based systems. Might be more financially approachable than SLS I guess.
